West Side Oil is superior in my eyes. I have had an oil tank, burner and indirect install done. The team were very polite. Told me exactly what they were going to be doing. I really can’t thank them enough. They were so good, so professional also fun to have working on the units, hearing them work together. You won’t be disappointed if you go with WSO for any job that they handle.

They installed a new boiler, very professional, neat, and done in one day. I'm very happy and will. Recommend them to anyone.

West Side Oil came to our rescue when our Central AC unit failed during a major heat wave in 2023. They bumped us in the schedule to ensure we had cool environment for our then 5 month old and 4 year old. We also used them for replacement of our aged furnace. Everyone from the office staff to every technician we worked with was very knowledgable and professional. All the technicians worked very clean and efficient. They also had no problem taking the extra time to explain things to me and answer any of my questions. West Side Oil provided top notch service all around! Highly recommend!

Great experience. Nobody in northern CT could be better. We have had West Side Oil for 11 years provide service and installs of our furnace, 2 A/Cs and now whole home generator. Great experience with Rich and his team from start to finish. This is our second boiler replacement (2 different properties) that we’ve done with West Side Oil. I’m so impressed with how meticulous the guys are, and obviously take a lot of pride in their work, which they should! I wouldn’t use another HVAC company and highly recommend West Side Oil for any HVAC needs.

Wow! The team at Westside Oil was outstanding. Rich was able to fit me in within one day of me calling for help, actually I called him around 7pm the night before and he organized everything and had a crew there the following morning. Now that's what you call prompt customer service. Who does this anymore? The crew came out in force and replaced the existing furnace / tankless-coil water heater with a new Buderus boiler and Viessmann indirect hot water tank, all in one day. There's a lot that goes into this and it's just amazing to watch all these guys work in concert and get everything done so quickly and efficiently. The install was done beautifully/professionally, with everything neat and tidy and it's a pleasure to look at. Everyone at Westside Oil was great, courteous, knowledgeable and eager to explain anything and everything. The real icing on the cake is just how much better this system is compared to the old tankless coil. I'm talking hotel like pressure and seemingly unending supply of hot water. It's such a pleasure, no more hurrying in the shower. We should have done this a long time ago. If you aren't happy with your tankless system seriously consider this and have these guys do the work. Another bonus was Rich's brother John (Plumber) came over during the install to sort out a problem we were already having with our upstairs shower. He found the problem quickly and resolved it in short order. He also replaced the whole house water filter while he was there. The folks in the office are also very nice and helpful. They can help with financing if necessary. As you can tell, I'm very happy with the entire experience and highly recommend these guys. We will be using them exclusively in the future.

I can't say enough good things about this company. They are a local family owned business that treats their customers as if they are family!! Our hot water tank started to leak, I immediately called them and they sent out a technician with in an hour, they verified that I needed a new tank took pictures and gathered all the information. Not even 24hrs later I had a quote emailed to me with 2 different options, they took the time and went over the pros and cons of each. Once we decided on a repair plan I asked them when this could be done (since I have 3 kids and no hot water). I over heard the owner in the background telling them "they have 3 kids we will get it done today as long as they don't mind us being there late" Long story short they showed up at 6pm and left at midnight and we had hot water. Not only did they stay late but, every time time they had to go their truck they put on and took off the their boot covers (it must have been at least 30 times) and when they left you couldn't even tell they were there. Amazing, thank you!!

My furnace stopped working on the coldest day of the season and Westside Oil arrived within an hour to fix the problem. The customer service in the office and the technician were wonderful, knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. I highly recommend this company.

So, I walked in to West Side Oil office this morning in a pickle.
My daughters house in Granby had an oil tank that, following a delivery yesterday was leaking. I went to check out the situation this morning and realized it was bad with no quick fix possible. My oil burner guy was not returning my calls. I walked in to West Side and started telling my story to the wonderful ladies that work in the office. Out of the back office comes Jay, who realizes I have a serious problem. He immediately starts trying to put together guys from other jobs to help with my situation. In less than 1 hour I have the West Side Calvary at my daughters house. Mind you, I am not a customer and this is an extremely busy time of year for a heating company. 3 trucks, 3 guys and a brand new tank are on the scene within 2 hours. By 4:00 we have a new tank installed, the old tank removed and the furnace tuned up and running. Jay and his guys were amazing. Not only were they highly skilled and professional, they also had a great attitude and humor throughout the whole ordeal.
West Side Oil has been a neighbor of mine for 40 years. I am embarrassed and ashamed that I have never been their customer. I will be now until I am not on the planet.
