Reviews of local pros in Wethersfield, Connecticut

Jerry and crew did a front walkway and steps for us about 8 years ago. Beautiful! Recently we noticed an area of the steps needed attention and they came over, fixed the issue, perfect! We highly recommend Jerry’s Pathways and Patios. Not only is Jerry a nice guy but he does beautiful work and stands by it.
Enjoy the wine!!!!

I used Jerry for a large extension to an existing patio and I could not recommend his services enough. He was creative in his approach to the project and was very communicative throughout the process. He works efficiently and both him and his staff are very professional. The end product is gorgeous and I will be using him again for future projects. Highly recommend!

Jerry & his team made the best walkway in town at my house! I’ve been holding off on a new walkway for awhile but I finally called Jerry and he came over and painted a beautiful picture of a new Walkway in our heads and we signed up right there. Jerry was friendly, responsive and is a true artist when it comes to hard scape! The only problem is now I want a patio & fire pit! Thank you Jerry!

Jerry and his crew built a retaining wall for me. Jerry was very professional when he came to my house to give me an estimate and took the time to answer all of my questions and even made suggestions where I could save some money. The work was done in a very timely manner and the end result was amazing. The crew cleaned up everything and other than the new wall you would never know they were there. I will gladly call Jerry for future projects. I cannot thank them enough.

This is the first time I worked with Jerry and believe me it was the best decision I’ve made. Jerry is very enthusiastic about his work and it shows by the result he delivers. He took my old nasty looking patio and transformed it into a 5 star patio. He is a hands on owner who works along side his great crew (Sammy & David) to get the job done. Jerry has great ideas and solutions to patio problems which I had (tree & tree roots). Ask him about Gator pads & Techo—Blocs. I used Nicolock pavers on my upper patio last year with another contractor and it’s a good paver, but techo-Bloc is the best in my opinion. I should had Jerry do my upper patio. If you’re serious about getting the best looking patio, then the get the best patio contractor. Call Jerry.

Jerry did such an amazing job on a front, side and back walk and the new patio he designed and built is stunning. Jerry & his crew are extremely professional, always punctual and so very talented. His cost for such beautiful craftsmanship is very reasonable as well. Jerry went above & beyond to ensure we were perfectly happy and fully satisfied!!

Interviewing companies to install our walkway became a frustrating task with unreliable company owners. When I met Jerry, I was extremely pleased with his punctuality, and professionalism. He took the time to discuss my options and designed a walkway with what I had envisioned. The entire installation from start to finish was executed on time and without problems. I must say, I do have the most beautiful walkway in my neighborhood. He will be installing our back patio and fire pit next. Don’t waste your time with other companies who sacrifice quality. I would highly recommend Jerry to anyone looking to install a patio or walkway.

Jerry designed a beautiful backyard patio for us and guided us in the selection of quality materials that we liked. He and Mike built it, and they did a terrific job. We are very pleased with their work. The construction is outstanding, and the craftmanship is excellent. Both men were perfectly professional, hard-working, cheerful, and a delight to have working in our yard. We can recommend them and their work with the highest possible rating.

Jerry did a wonderful job with our patio. He was very detail oriented and attentive. We love how it turned out and would definitely use him again for future projects!

Five stars for Jerry! This is our third project with Jerry and he delivered beautiful results once again. Jerry is reliable, honest, hard-working, very talented, and an all-around great guy. His prices are very reasonable for the superb quality of work he provides, and he respects your property by always keeping a clean worksite. He worked with us to design patio walkways around our pool to seamlessly integrate into his previous patio work from over 10 years ago. Honestly, you won't find anyone better for your paver projects. Thanks again Jerry for an excellent job. We look forward to working with you again.

I have a beautiful paver front walkway from Jerry’s Pathways & Patios. They were very professional and courteous, and take pride in their workmanship.Highly recommended.

I would give Jerry 10 stars if I could! I really can't compliment him enough...he is fair, meticulous, hard working, friendly, straightforward, punctual, and a true craftsman who stands behind his work. It's hard to find honest people like Jerry these days! The reason I hired him to build my patio over the other companies that I called for estimates was because he specializes in hardscapes and knows his craft, which was obvious from the initial consultation. He built my patio four years ago and it has held up beautifully! Recently, I hired him to clean it up and now it looks just as amazing as it did when he first completed the job. I'm already looking forward to hiring him again as soon as possible to build me a new walkway. Jerry is always at the job site, despite the fact that he has a crew of guys who are just as thorough and hard working as he is. Jerry and his crew go above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied and pleased with his work. And all for a very reasonable price! If you need a new patio or walkway, hire Jerry...you won't be disappointed!

We had a new patio replace one installed in the 60's. Jerry and his wonderful crew removed the old pressed concrete, brought it to a place where it could be recycled, and spent time meticulously preparing the new undercoat. Then they installed the stones in the pattern we had chosen, constantly measuring and leveling as they went. Lastly, they took time to level the soil in our abuting flower beds. Every day, Jerry outlined the plan of action. Great work crew! Great planning and communication!

Update:
Called Jerry back for a front walkway and he went above and beyond! His work was meticulous and he paid attention to every single detail. At one point we realized we have to move the garden in order to make the pathway look the way it is supposed to, and without hesitation, he went ahead and did what he had to. His working efforts were seen by my neighbor, and right after he finished my walkway he jumped over and did my neighbors as well. Can’t recommend him enough. Additionally, his teammate, Sam did a phenomenal job.

Thank you again!

Jerry was amazing, he is the owner and does all of the work himself (along with some help from others here and there). Let me start of by saying that Jerry is one of the most hard working and honest trades individuals that I have hired. He has an eye for what would look good and what just might not sit right. We had a vision for our patio and he said he could do it but once we asked him for this professional view on it he took the project to a completely different level. He did not sell us on spending more which other companies tried doing. The work he did was so detailed, it is flawless. I will be uploading picture of the work once our deck is done.

Last thing, his communication with us was second to none, constantly calling and giving us updates. If he didn't pickup when I called I always received a call back same day. We were away for one weekend when he was working and he went out of his way to facetime us to show us the progress he made, that is the level of customer service you want from someone doing a patio that will last a lifetime.

Pricing was right on par with the other big box companies so why not hire someone that will give you the attention you deserve especially for the amount of money patios cost.

We will be calling Jerry soon again for more patio work to be done in front of our house. Also my dogs that are a great judge of character and don't like most people loved him and would ask for pets none stop from him. (two German Shepherds)

Thank you so much Jerry! Be in touch with you soon.

Jerry and his crew turned our disastrous backyard into a beautiful patio that exceeded our expectations. Jerry took the time to explain what he was doing every step of the way and gave us options without any pressure. The project was completed on schedule and Jerry maintained a meticulous attention to detail and did not rush. He is very friendly and great to work with! We will definitely be returning customers for our front steps and walkway!

Jerry and his crew did a fantastic job building our patio and walkway. Jerry helped us with designing exactly what we wanted within our budget. They were all hard working, professional and always on time. Completely satisfied with the outcome of their work. We will definitely use their services again in the future. Really great guys!!

Jerry did a fantastic job at re-laying my brick walkway. The job came out absolutely gorgeous. I'm very happy with his work, and will use him again for future projects! He was always excellent at responding to me in a prompt manner, and keeping me abreast of his schedule. He is wonderful to work with! I would highly recommend him to anyone! Thank you Jerry!

Thank you to Jerry (and his teammate Mike) for a job well done! We had contacted Jerry originally in 2021 to give us a quote for a back patio. We were originally torn between a patio vs. deck and wound up waiting a year sitting on the decision. In 2022 we contacted Jerry again and he came back out quickly and was able to fit us right into his busy schedule.

For a patio, it’s the things people don’t see that matter the most. And Jerry performs each step with meticulous care.

-Deep Paver base, compacted and wet frequently, spread wide outside the edge of the patio.
-Surveyed grade to ensure proper drainage and water runoff.
-sand leveled to the right depth, so the pavers don’t move or rock.
-Commercial grade metal edging with metal spikes hammered far into the paver base for edge stability.
-Professional Grade Polymeric sand compacted and spread in multiple applications per the instructions.

On top of that Jerry has great communication (always answers) and keeps the job site clean and tidy at all times.

If you want it to look good and last a lifetime, call Jerry.

Jerry made our back yard look amazing. I highly recommend him to anyone doing work at their home.

We used Jerry this spring to build a stone patio off of our house. Throughout the entire process Jerry was extremely helpful, communicative, and punctual. He was able to start the project early, finished when he expected, and didn’t have any cost over runs. Besides Jerry’s professionalism the work was outstanding quality. Whenever I need work done I will be going back to Jerry without hesitation.

Jerry and his team were amazing. Our patio turned out better than we could have imagined. We had a minor issue after the project was completed and Jerry came back over and took care of it. The entire team was amazing! Can’t go wrong with Jerry.

We just had Jerry and his team build our patio and we are beyond happy with the results! Jerry communicated with us so well throughout the entire process. He helped us decide on the perfect size patio to fit the budget we had. Jerry broke down exactly how the patio would be built from the materials used to how it’s layered. He gave us a date for the project and once he had an earlier availability he gave us a call and within days our patio was complete! Absolutely amazing service, great attention to detail, and just overall a wonderful experience with this company! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to build a patio. Bonus points that Jerry is the most personable guy!
