Tree reviews in Wethersfield, Connecticut

John and his team were fast and got the job done. They cut the trees down, hauled it away and patched up the spot as best as they could. I had two pine trees removed and a medium tree on a small lawn. Only thing is They used a big machine for stump grinding. If you have a small lawn or not a lot of space ask them to bring a smaller equipment for stump.

JPS tree services were amazing, provided fair pricing for the work requested (2 tree removal and 6-8 tree pruning). They went above n beyond with way they approached the work and making sure I was happy at every step of the way.

Best was the equipment they brought for the job was brand new and cutting edge with technology (robotic, remote controlled lifts, etc)

John and team were true professional in terms of adherence to date/time, quality of work, special care to avoid any damage to my lawn and cleanup at the end.

Overall the best company to hire for your tree service needs.

Thank you John and team for amazing job 😍✌️

In early August a neighbors tree had fallen on my property and I decided it was time to trim back a lot of big oaks hanging over my property. I got quotes from 5 companies. All but JPS wanted to remove 2 sections and a post in our fence to do the job. JPS had equipment that was compact enough to fit through 1 section, saving me about 1k in fence work. John was easy to work with, communicated well throughout the job and had a very competitive price. JPS did a great job cleaning up afterwards as well. I have a well manicured lawn and found their equipment did very little damage compared to the work other companies have done in our neighborhood. I was very happy with their service and will use them again if in need of tree work.

We woke up this Easter morning to a 80 foot tree with a Y in it that half broke off and the other half was looking dangerously ready to also fall. We called JPS @7am and they showed up and by 6pm they took down two trees. They were very professional and respectful. I would recommend them and will have them back in the fall to take out two more. A+++ for this team. Left my yard cleaner than when they started. They over delivered what was expected.

John and crew have just finished up taking down 2 huge trees and assorted limbs on other trees in our front and back yard. His team is extremely professional, efficient and courteous and they cleaned up to a tee as they went along. The equipment that he uses was amazing! I cannot recommend JPS Tree Services more highly!

John and his staff were very professional. They did an amazing job with the removal of a large tree & grinding the stump, that is the best I’ve seen! They also trimmed our large arborvitae’s and did a phenomenal job cleaning up the yard afterwards. I highly recommend JPS! Thank you.

John and his team did exceptional work. The tree was very large and came done with no issues. The cleanup was exceptional. We highly recommend JPS Tree Services for your needs.

The crew at JPS did a fantastic job! The woodsy area where my two dead ash trees were now looks like a park. When John says JPS will leave the property better than they found it, believe it! They cleaned leaves off my entire property (including the garage!). The entire crew was personable, professional and polite. The owner is an incredible human being and I HIGHLY recommend him and his company!

I highly recommend JPS tree service for ALL tree work. John Leon is very personable and professional, and provided a great price. The crew along with John worked like a well oiled machine to remove 2 huge pines from my property. JPS has superior equipment and expertise. John was truly a tree surgeon when taking down the trees. He also did a great job on trimming a huge line of hedges. The whole crew were polite, VERY hard working, put safety 1st and foremost and left the property neat and clean. JPS provide A+ service

From John coming out to look at our project to him and his crew cleaning up when finished, he is top-notch. Very professional, worked efficiently and safely, and was very careful with our fence and other landscaping. I would recommend him and his crew to anyone needing tree work. John removed four trees and trimmed a few limbs from 2 other trees, got here on time, and made quick work of progress throughout the day. John had the proper equipment to get the job done safely and took the time to make sure we were satisfied with the work throughout the day. John was also very fair with his pricing. I would have him back in a heartbeat.

John and his crew did an incredible job for us this afternoon! We had 3 big trees, along with a couple trim jobs, and they handled the task with ease. You can tell they have a lot of experience, the perfect equipment, and a pretty strong handshake. A very good choice here for any tree related jobs.

JPS did a fantastic job for us. They took down 9 pine trees and 1 cherry tree at a very reasonable price. The cleanup was excellent. All branches and logs, were taken away and the yard was left clean of any residual debris. The team was very professional and the job was completed promptly and flawlessly. If we ever need any more trees removed, we would hire JPS without hesitation. We were very impressed with JPS.

John the owner is awesome to work with. His crew did an excellent job with my trees as you can see by the photos, they were dangerously hanging over the road. John is very easy to get along with. He is very polite, having a great smile. He is a real expert. His works are rapid and excellent. My house, wires and yards are safe, clean and clear now. His price is solid too. He also did some other bushes beyond our contract for free. He even also helped my neighbor with the dead trees lying on the ground for years for free. It’s a wonderful experience to work with John. If I have tree services to do in the future, I will come to him again.
