Tree reviews in Wolcott, Connecticut

Luis came out on a Saturday after being contacted by our homeowners insurance. We had a 130ft tree partially come down on the backside of our house after a storm. As usual, insurance only covered the part of the tree that came down on the house. What was left was a pretty unstable tree that needed to come down. The quote we received was incredibly fair. In fact it was great. Luis was not taking advantage of an already bad situation. He and his guys came back out on Sunday. Did the work in just a few hours! He and his crew were very thorough, even took another tree down that was rotting. Incredibly respectful of our property. Extremely thorough and definitely took pride in their work. I cannot recommend him enough! In fact we plan on having him come back and take a few more limbs and trees down. Thank you Luis for taking care of us so well!

I just had a large pine tree taken down by Martinez Tree Works and they did a fabulous job both in the take down and the cleanup. The price was great and so was the work . I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

We needed a large tree removed that was hanging over the house & power lines. I called three places for estimates. The first guy’s estimate was extremely high. The second guy never showed up to give an estimate. And then I called Luis who showed up exactly at the time promised. His price was fair & reasonable. He said he could do the job in approximately 2 weeks which he did. His team was prompt, courteous, highly skilled & professional. When they left, the property was left pristine. I highly recommend Luis & his team & will be happy to use them in the future. D. Carroll

Martinez Tree Work did an incredible job removing a dying elm tree from my yard and grinding the stump. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and efficient. Luis, the owner, was friendly and easy to work with—he provided a fair quote and made sure everything was handled with care. The team worked quickly and left my yard spotless when they were done. These guys are the real deal. The owner showed up on time for the estimate (on a Sunday) and on time for the job. They did an amazing job cutting three large trees from a constricted space and even trimmed a few more at my request for no additional cost. Very fair and honest with pricing. Extremely professional and beautiful equipment. I HIGHLY recommend them and have them scheduled to do more work on another one of my properties. They are now my go-to tree cutter!

Martinez Tree Work did an outstanding job cutting down a large tree on my property. The team was well-organized from start to finish, showed great attention to detail, and handled the entire project with real professionalism. The cleanup afterward was incredibly thorough as well. Highly recommend Martinez Tree Work for anyone needing reliable and high-quality tree services at a great price!

Have hired Martinez Tree Work three years ago and again last week. Removed many tall pines and very high large branches on oak trees that were hanging over home. Luis and his crew provides outstanding service - pays attention to detail - are proud of their workmanship - and the price is very reasonable. We are extremely happy and will hire again. We had tree work done again by Martinez Tree Work in October and, once again, they did a great job. Two large trees taken down and one small one. One stump ground down, and everything nice and tidy after. Great communication from Luis as always. Highly recommend!
