    Great service
Paul Vann and Kevin were exceptional in getting our home repaired after storm damage. They kept us informed on the progress of the completion of work. They made sure all the repairs were to our satisfaction.

DEFINITELY RECOMMEND APEX Restoration for any and all mitigation needs. Colby and the DKI water mitigation team did an outstanding job from start to finish. I can't say enough about their professionalism, courtesy, care and concern for our home. We had significant water damage from a attic mounted Air Conditioner. The came in assessed the damage a provided us with not only a estimate but walked us through the process. They worked diligently to get our home restored as quick as possible, despite the fact that the temperature in the house was over 100 degrees. Glad to have professionals of this caliber on our side in our time of need.

First off, a 1-star rating is too good for this company. Apex was referred to me by USAA for a water damage insurance claim that occurred in early December, and they just now finished. This was not a huge project - about 8 sheets of drywall and 2 doors, and I elected to paint, yet it still took nearly 4 months to complete. The drywall work was so bad that it took me an entire weekend to prepare it for paint. Debris was dumped in my trash can despite them billing for removal. I voiced my concerns with a quality manager, but heard nothing else after. Communication with Apex was frustratingly bad. Calls to project managers would go to voicemail and would not be returned. Weeks went by without updates despite my numerous calls and texts. I don't know how these guys are still in business, but I do plan on voicing my concerns with USAA to at least get them off their recommenced list so this never happens to another veteran.

My insurance company signed APEX on to repair my roof after recent storm damage. Hands down, Apex provided me with the most diligent communication, coordination and completion of storm repair I've experienced, and over my lifetime that is 3 roofs. I realize it comes down to the people, and Paul, Nate and Tim were 5-star in reaching out, coordinating, and following through. We are pleased with the final product. My experience with them is that Tim Paul and Nate, and the teams they are connecting with provided me with a product to the highest standard. I'm not one to leave reviews often, but these guys deserve the recognition.

Our insurance company recommended Apex to us. If we could do it over again, we would not choose Apex for our ceiling repair. Overall it was a frustrating experience.

We were told a ceiling water spot repair would take 1-1.5 days to repair, and that Apex would hire a subcontractor to complete it. We scheduled a start date/time of 8am on 9/19/23. Nate Ragland was very helpful with this process, but our experience with the subcontractor was not enjoyable. On 9/19, the contractor showed up 3hrs late with no prior communication. He replaced the ceiling drywall and spread joint compound finishing by 1pm. He then told us he would need to let the ceiling dry overnight before he could sand and paint the ceiling. He also had to borrow our broom and dustpan as he forgot to bring his shop vac. He told us he would be back the next day around 8-9am to continue work. On 9/20, the contractor showed up 2hrs late without prior communication. He did another layer of compound to the drywall and then started painting the other areas of the ceiling while the compound dried. Prior to painting the contractor appeared to lay out some plastic. And while plastic did cover a handful of areas, we noticed paint splatter on various areas and appliances. This was upsetting as Nate had told us we wouldn’t need to move hardly anything as the contractors were very careful about covering items before painting. The contractor continued painting the remainder of the ceiling, but around 4pm he stated he would need to come back in the morning to finish painting the drywall replacement as the new compound coat hadn’t dried. Once he left on the 2nd day, we reviewed our expense list from Apex that showed we paid for 2 coats of paint, as we noticed he had only completed 1 coat. On 9/21 the contractor actually arrived on time at 9am. During his setup, I asked when he would do the 2nd coat of paint, to which he asked “Am I supposed to do 2 coats?”. I showed him our expense sheet from Apex and pointed out the 2 coats of paint line. He said Apex didn’t give him a check-list for the job, but he would do the 2nd coat. It looks like he probably rushed on the 2nd coat as we noticed additional paint splatter in new areas. He finished everything around 1pm, seemingly did a clean up, and left. We also noticed he had washed out his paint bin in our backyard and left it laying against a tree to dry. On 9/22 Nate came by to do a final inspection and have us sign final paperwork. During the inspection, I informed Nate of our experience with the contractor, and pointed out the areas of paint splatter we noticed. We noted our frustration with the contractor, as he showed up whenever he felt like it with no prior communication. Nate profusely apologized for lack of communication from the contractor as well as the paint spots that were left behind. And as we had a clean-up item listed on our expense sheet, Nate offered to either have the contractor return and finish clean-up (which we declined), or Nate could reimburse us for the clean-up fee (which we accepted). We then signed paperwork for the completion of the repairs, as well as a document stating that Apex would reimburse us (via check) for the clean-up fee amount. Nate stated we should expect the check in the mail within the next 1-2 weeks. Between 10/5 - 10/19 we contacted Apex for updates on our reimbursement check. After a multi-week back and forth with Apex, and frustrating miscommunication from them on what we did and did not have to sign, we finally received our check.

In summary, the work eventually got finished and looks okay, but overall our experience with Apex was not a pleasant one.

I cannot praise this company enough. Had my insurance adjuster done his job then our project would had been completed alot sooner. Nathan and Todd where both extremely professional and checked in every week to make sure things where moving along. I wasn't expecting everything to go so smoothly once we changed insurance adjusters, but once the approval was completed then they had my house scheduled for work in 3 days. My house looks amazing. If you are on the edge of hiring this company, don't they are amazing!!

Took a while to sort the replacement oak lumber I wanted to use in repairing the storm damage. Tim Brown the contractor’s agent was great on keeping me informed of the progress and on communicating with the repair personnel

Nearly ran over my family and a couple of pedestrians

Very easy to work with, we've used them for snow removal for years.

We’ve worked with them for years. They get up at the crack of dawn to make sure we can open our business at 7am.

One of their drivers almost ran over my family members as they were getting in their parked cars. He then yelled at them, and did multiple burnouts along the street while driving away. It was a neighborhood where children frequently play outside and he could have hurt someone.

We were getting into our cars when we were at a family members house in Holladay when the drivers yelled at my young adult daughter threateningly, and swerved and almost hit me and other members of my family, as well as another pedestrian couple walking. Unprofessional and unsafe conduct

Within 10 days from our bid we had a patio poured and finished. Dan is great to work with and answered any questions we had.

All high marks for our experience with Dan and Fiefia Concrete. They started our project in a matter of days and finished a day earlier than estimated. Price was fair and they worked creatively to solve the unique challenges of our situation. Can’t speak highly enough about the whole experience. And the finished product turned out fantastic. Thanks, team!

This company accessed my backyard without any contact with us. Seems odd they will just enter your property without even knocking on your door. Not the way to respect others property.

This week our company experienced an unexpected power disruption due to an automobile/power line accident outside our building. We called Sturgeon Electric and they were extremely helpful and customer service oriented. We wish to express our sincere appreciation to the Sturgeon Electric team for their great customer service and response. Although our call required after-hours work, they came and were tremendously helpful and efficient.

Sturgeon Electric’s quick, professional response was key to getting our business up and running after the unexpected power disruption we experienced. To the Sturgeon team: THANK YOU!!! We appreciate everything you do to make Utah a great place to live & do business!

We came home one evening to a couple sturgeon trucks on our street. One was parked under our tree and as he drove away the truck was too tall and ripped a bunch of limbs off. My husband was very upset and ran out to stop them. They said the man would be right back and wasn't planning on leaving the limbs there and would clean them up. My husband commented on how they tore up our tree and that he would like someone to come trim the tree. That was two nights ago. This morning one of the men who was there knocked on our door to let me know he would be trimming the tree and handed me a $50 gift card to cabellas. He said he was sorry for the inconvenience and that they felt bad about the situation. He walked away and said "I hope you are able to take that and get you something nice." I was really touched and respected that this company would go to such lengths to right their wrong. We didn't use their service, but if I ever need an electrician you bet I'll be calling them.

I just barely got cut off by a driver for this company, in a merging lane where I had the right away. They didn't even bother to go into their lane to merge, instead came right into my lane making me go over into the shoulder on a major highway. I normally wouldn't be too upset about this, except for I had my 3-year-old daughter in the car with me at the time.

Another company that is all talk when it comes to safety. They talk like it is their priority, but it is only a priority if it is convenient for them. Regardless of how many times I brought up safety issues, nothing was done. I guess they don't mind losing employees as long as they can still make a profit. If you value safety avoid this company at all costs.
