I have been waiting for 20 years to get a new driveway. Finally got it done. Mike came out to give us a quote in a timely manner. We booked the job and we are completely satisfied with the work. Alex and his team were amazing hard workers. They removed our old cracked and crumbling driveway and sidewalk to the front porch. They regraded the ground for the new wider driveway, poured a new driveway, sidewalk and steps. They also resurfaced the front of our porch. It was a three day job, but we couldn't be happier with the results. The team was courteous, hard working and professional. The clean up was great and new grass seed was laid along the driveway and sidewalk. We would definitely work with them again. Thank you All Star Contracting.

We got several estimates for our new driveway and were most impressed with All Star. Mike came out quickly for an estimate and was knowledgable about what needed to be done. Alex was unbelievable and was confident he could do the new driveway to solve our water drainage problem. He absolutely did. They went above and beyond our expectations. We even got extra work done while they were here and everything was done in two days! Very impressed.

Exceptional experience! We needed a new driveway and our previous one was badly graded and installed. Alex was able to assess the situation perfectly and advise us on the best options. He and his crew were communicative, professional, and treated our property like it was their own. Our house has a 100% improvement in curb appeal with the new concrete driveway! Excellent Service! We had our concrete driveway made into a bigger asphalt driveway. They were Very responsive and great quality work.

Short Version:
I was given a quote to have my driveway paved, and when the foreman/owner showed up to do the job, he claimed the price was too low and tried to renegotiate the cost and scope of work. After some back and forth, he walked off the job. Even though they later offered to honor the original quote, I no longer felt I could trust them.

Full Review:
I initially got an estimate from this company back in March when asphalt prices were lower. Out of several bids, theirs was the second-lowest, but they were the most responsive and professional to deal with, so I chose to work with them.

Everything went smoothly—until the day of the job.

When the foreman (who I believe is also the owner) arrived, he began remeasuring and suddenly claimed the driveway was 1,000 square feet larger than every other estimate I had received. He then informed me that he would lose money if he honored the original quote and tried to renegotiate the scope of the job and raise the price.

I told him he needed to discuss it with his salesman since we had a signed agreement. After about an hour of back and forth between the three of us, the foreman made another call and again tried to renegotiate the price. I explained that I didn’t have the additional funds he was asking for and reiterated that we had a signed contract.

He ultimately refused to do the job and left.

A short time later, I got a call from the sales rep saying the foreman had changed his mind and would come back and complete the work at the original price. At that point, however, I had lost trust in the company. I declined and asked for written confirmation of the cancellation, which they did send promptly.

To their credit, everyone I dealt with was polite throughout the process. But trying to change the terms after a contract was signed felt unprofessional and frankly, a bit shady. I’m disappointed, because I had high hopes for this company.

Alex was amazing! I deal with contractors and business owners all day long and have never met someone who is more dedicated to making sure the job is done right. I thought he was just going to repave my driveway, but he came up with a solution that solved a water runoff issue at the same time. I Highly recommend All Star Contracting.

Ron was super efficient with quoting and getting us setup for our new driveway. Alex and him team came out and had our driveway done in 4 hours. I will recommend this company time and time again. Can’t wait to talk to them about a concrete pad.

Ron was great from the initial quote through the final seal coat. We did a large concerete pation with a barn wood stamp print and a grey stain followed by 2 coats of sealer. The foreman Alex was extremely thorough, thoughful and did an outstanding job from the groundwork to the sealer. One of the best construction experiences I have ever had!

Alex and the crew did a great job on my new asphalt driveway. Very efficient and hard working team. Can't wait to use it once it cures. All Star Contractors did an excellent job repairing and resurfacing my 26 year old asphalt driveway. It looks brand new. Ron, their sales manager, walked me through all the repairs/restoration work in advance and Alex, work supervisor, and his crew executed the work beautifully. I could not be more pleased. I recently had my existing driveway resurfaced and then added an addition and it turned out amazing! The crew was very professional and informative, answering all of my questions throughout the process. They even went above and beyond to raise certain areas of the driveway for water drainage purposes. Previously, water had pooled at the house and they fixed that problem, without me even asking. They came out the same week we signed the quote and had both of our jobs completed in one day! We have referred them to all of our family and friends and plan to use them for future projects! We tried to find someone to do a driveway extension several times before finding All Star. This whole project was quite a lot of effort dealing with the city and permits and all that nonsense. All Star stuck with us and dealt with getting the permit so we could get this done. Alex the foreman was a great help, especially when dealing with our HOA as they were being difficult. Once we managed to get all the paperwork, permits and approvals done, they got it knocked out in a single day. We have been wanting this since we moved in. Thank you so much for all your effort. The new parking spot and replacing the old cracked sunken walkway was such an improvement we thank you for the quality job you did.

We had our driveway removed and widened with All Star Contracting. All of the workers were friendly, careful and extremely hard working. They even put in our back patio with zero issues. I strongly recommend them for any concrete work.
