I cannot stress enough how great of an experience it is to work with Grant. We had a kitchen island remodel done and we went with quartz to replace our builder grade granite. As a DYI guy, I’m pretty particular about craftsmanship and quality when you are paying for someone else to do a project. Grant is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He is really good about communicating with you throughout the process too. I will definitely be using Grant and Art of Stone Charlotte for the next countertop project! Hands down the best in the biz. Grant was amazing to work with, from start to finish. Once we picked out our stone and tile, he guided us through the process and offered options and his expert opinion. He coordinated the stone, tile, plumbing and electrical work, and all of his contractors were masters at their crafts. We are beyond happy with how it all turned out and will definitely use him again in the future. Highly recommend.

Very professional, prompt in communication and coordination of our kitchen countertop design and installation from start to finish.
They were able to use one jumbo slab for our entire project thus keeping the cost down as much as possible. Highly recommend.

Mike and his team at Graniteworks are some of the most unprofessional and incompetent individuals I have ever worked with.

This was my first experience with Graniteworks and will definitely be my last. I came to use them by way of some remnant pieces my client found for their kitchen renovation. I should have just insisted on using my normal fabricator. Lesson learned.

To start, no one reached out to confirm the countertop demo that was scheduled for this morning, so I reached out yesterday evening to make sure it was still happening. I received a text response from one of their employees, Falon, stating the demo crew would be coming “first thing in the morning” and that she would reach out to me. Great!

By 9:45a this morning I still had not received any communication, so I reached back out. What unfolded next still has me fuming.

At 9:45a, Falon informed me the demo crew was “on their way”. When I asked for a more specific timeframe she said “they’re coming from our location on Burnet Rd. so they shouldn’t be long”. She also denied ever sending the text (from her cell phone) saying they would be there “first thing”.

45 minutes later and still no word. After another 30 minutes and several back and forth calls with Falon while I sat and waited with no update (they couldn’t even locate the demo crew), I finally asked to speak to the owner, Mike to try and get some clarity on the situation.

Mike got on the phone and instead of listening and being even remotely apologetic about the miscommunication and experience I had had thus far, he flippantly asked “do you want us to do your job or not?” 🤡

I told him that yes, I would like them to do the job I had already paid them for and that all I wanted to know was WHEN they were going to be there so that I could inform my client and plan out the rest of my day.

He then told me I needed to find a new fabricator and HUNG UP ON ME. lol

So now because Mike can’t seem to follow through on his end of the deal, my client is left with a newly disconnected sink and stove in the midst of a kitchen renovation and I’m left to find a last minute fabricator.

If this continues to happen or this review is looked over, expect multiple.

I was so impressed with the kind people at Graniteworks. I had a concern about the granite countertops in our home, which we inherited when we moved in. The company that installed our countertops had gone out of business, so I contacted Graniteworks out of the blue with my questions. Falon responded within minutes, asked me to send photos, and provided knowledgeable information, including a recommendation of who we might contact to help us with our countertop problem. I was amazed by their responsiveness and kindness. Thank you so much!

We were recommended to Graniteworks by the company that custom made our cabinets. Amanda was very easy to work with and was patient while I tried to pick a color of quartz. She accurately estimated when the stone would be ready, as the manufacturer was local (only took a week or so). The installation was amazingly quick, especially considering our kitchen island was huge. I would highly recommend Graniteworks, especially to people who are not professional remodelers. I had no experience with this process, but our counters look amazing!

The whole team is great. Amanda really help make great recommendations during the sales process, the installation team was very professional and their shop is super high tech. The stone was cut perfect. Our kitchen counters look incredible. A big thanks to the whole team.

Your crew with Edgar at the lead installed our new double vanity bathroom countertop yesterday. They were a pleasure to work with and the results look wonderful. Our experience was great and the product was beautiful. Staff at Graniteworks were professional, friendly and offered their expertise without being overbearing.
