Deck Builder reviews across the US

I contracted with Decker Patio and Awning in March 2015 to build a screened in porch on the back of my home in Clovis, CA. As of this date, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. The following is the reason why.

During the construction phase, I noticed that their workmanship and attention to details was lacking. They always left the job site a mess which meant I had to clean up after them.
After completing the project, I’ve had to have them come back many times to repair their construction work. Each time they returned, it seemed like I was inconveniencing them. Finally after numerous efforts to fix their work I thought all was finished. Until I noticed that all the screens install in the porch structure were either coming loose or separating from the aluminum channels. I called again and asked them to determine what was happening. They said that the screens installed were the wrong type and all of them would have to be replaced. During this period of time, I suggested that to insure a stronger structure that by adding an extra channel between the upper and lower screens would help strengthen the structure. They either didn’t know how to make the supports for didn’t want to take the time to make the additional structurally sound. I ended up having to build the supporting components myself to make this retrofit work.
After installing the new screen, by the way which was done by an outside contractor, this contractor stated that the existing screen material were of poor quality and suitable for this type of structure. I would never recommend them to anyone.

After waiting 2.5 hours for Jonathan to show up I left to take care of other business and left him an appropriate, polite message (2nd of two) on his Fresno phone number regarding his inability to show up or to cancel or to reschedule. Very unprofessional. I do not recall my treating anyone like this in my 40+ years of public service in government, none-profits, and retail.

Pat Damico, LLC, recently did framing, electrical, masonry and roofing repairs to our home. I must say he is highly respectable and his workers are kind and courteous. Work was done promptly and with little disruption to our daily lives. He always answers his phone and responds to all concerns. He is an asset to the contractor trade and I strongly recommend him as a reliable and trusted contractor to all.

These guys are the BEST! They are very professional, yet personable people. What started as a kitchen remodel, quickly turned into a catastrophe for me. I called the pros and the rest is history. Everything from new floors to having to beef up our ceiling joists. Hanging kitchen cabinets and rerouting some plumbing. My wife and I could not be happier. We feel like we live in a new house! Thank you so much!

The Biehl Brothers were on time, and within our budget. Our deck was deemed a hazard, and we needed someone to replace it so our rental property was up to code. They were FANTASTIC! We ended up hiring them for our own house for a complete bathroom remodel, and a new roof. Top notch service pros! One of the best contractors in Cincinnati.
