Dry Wall Contractor reviews across the US

We hired Gene (owner of Luxcon Pros) to paint the interior of our whole house. He did an excellent job and went beyond what we asked him to do. He helped us choose a color that would work well in our house. He cares about the work he does and takes great pride in his work. He worked fast and put in long hours (like an 11 hour day) and got the job finished in the time frame that he stated in his quote. And the man never took a break during the day! And his price was most reasonable compared to the other quotes I got. Gene definitely knows his craft, and to top it off, he is a genuinely nice and generous guy. I would definitely hire Gene again for any future painting.

Gene and his crew did a great job. We had popcorn ceilings taken down and replaced with an orange peal texture. Then the ceilings were primed and painted. Gene took care of painting the walls and trim and installed flooring that we had purchased. He came in on price as agreed with a few minor changes and all in five days. I would highly recommend Gene.

I was in the trade for many years and would highly recommend Gene and his crew His price was very reasonable and got the estimate out to me the same day he came over. They are very professional. Did a great job preparing and cleaning up. They showed up when they said they would and completed job on time. Also since the weather was a bit questionable, Gene made every effort to keep me informed as to what the schedule would be. Again very nice to work with Gene and his crew.

Gene and his guys did an excellent job! We hired him to do a job in the summer while my parents were up north for the season. We were updated with phone calls and pictures as the project progressed. We will definitely hire him for the next project, as he is very professional and does excellent work at a fair price.

Wanted to post our experience with LuxCon Pros...especially Gene Richards. The workmanship and total experience was phenomenal! Gene worked with me in getting the exact paint color, even meeting me at the paint store before we had a signed contract. He was on time to do the job as well as doing a perfect job from start to finish. Would highly recommend Gene for any and all jobs within his scope of expertise.

Gene and his crew are wonderful to work with! They are very knowledgeable and professional. They removed popcorn ceilings in our client's condo and did a beautiful job! From start to finish they were prompt and kept the job running smoothly. They also did several drywall repairs for us and their patch work is TOP NOTCH! I highly recommend LuxCon Pros for any of your painting or drywall needs.

Gene and team were simply the best. On time, professional, neat and clean. They started the job on the day they had confirmed, and finished as estimated The team was polite and were happy to make any small changes I requested. When they finished for the day the place was spotless I could not be happier with the painting and the people who did the work The price was fair and the quality of paint used was top of the line. I am so pleased that I am bringing Gene back to be a partner with our interior remodel team to paint the inside once construction is done.

Gene, Kirsten, Walter and the team are a pleasure to work with did a wonderful job. I moved into a new home and they worked over a holiday weekend and kept me up to date while I was out of town. Gene effortlessly cast a vision that I loved. They completed the job perfectly even after my many additions and they even came back immediately when another handyman created more work! They are dependable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy people and also very cool to work with. They have put me in touch with other excellent contractors who ALL speak highly of Gene & Co. too. I highly recommend LuxCon Pros.

Gene and his entire team are excellent! I couldn’t move into my home until it was painted (previous owners smoked). I also wanted to update my cabinets and have them painted. Gene is very knowledgeable and provided excellent advice. The painting is meticulous, the cleanup was thorough and my house smells clean. It was also done in a shorter amount of time than I expected, without sacrificing quality. Easy to work with and timely in every aspect of service. We will be using LuxConPros for future jobs!

Debbie stalled over our house and we had a ceiling collapse on our lanai. after we replaced our 30 year old tile roof, I contracted LuxCon Pros to repair the 9 foot drywall ceiling. Two hard-working young men showed up and without hesitation, tackled the job with efficient and competent effort. It all resulted in a job very well done. i'm really happy.

I had Gene and the team at Luxcon Pros out to do a facelift on our property. Delighted again with the professionalism and "can do" attitude.

Luxacon Pros are the most professional drywall/painting contract I have come across in Sarasota. They removed popcorn ceilings and skim coated the drywall to a-smooth finish and painted my entire condo. A job well done. I have recommended them to others who were also extremely satisfied. I would be remiss if I did not commend the owner Gene Richards, who was a pleasure to deal with.

From the very beginning, the company was very easy to communicate and discuss details of the project. The workmanship is excellent. Highly recommend to anyone with a remodeling/drywall project. Extremely detail, oriented, clean, considerate, and affordable.

Our experience with LuxCon was excellent. First rate. We received a visit and a quick thorough and reasonable estimate. The crew and the principal Gene Richards showed up on time and executed the work efficiently and perfectly. My appreciation for the honesty, integrity, and high level work ethic was enhanced by the extremely high quality of the work performed. Without hesitation we would recommend LuxCon Pro.

Excellent detailed work with drywall, wall texturing and painting the interior of my whole house. They did extra little things that they didn’t have to do. I would definitely call them again.

First off, Gene returned my call the next day and came out the following day. We needed drywall repair, ceilings, lanai and pool deck painted. His drywall person did an excellent job and cleaned up great. The painters also did a great job on the ceilings and also did a great job cleaning up. Both did a great job covering our furniture and floors.
Gene himself power washed and painted our lanai and deck. Again a great job.

We cannot say enough how professional Gene and his crew was.
Highly recommend.

Worked with Glen and his crew to rebuild our hurricane flooded 3-bedroom house in Palmetto. The demo team had torn out all the drywall in the house up to the 4' level, Gene's crews' job was to rehang, tape, and texture and paint all walls to the original look before the flood. They did a great job, and the work was completed on schedule.
Was really appreciative of the constant follow up and updates by Gene's office manager Shuni. She was a huge part of keeping us informed on scheduling and entire process, Thank you Shuni for all your hard work!
Last, one of the workers named, Alejandro, was absolutely a charm to work with. Great attitude, great work ethics and his work on the final details was greatly appreciated.
Thanks to the entire LuxCon team for the great work!

It was such a pleasure meeting and dealing with the owner of LuxConPros. He gave me, in my opinion, a very fair estimate that included, replacing 3/4 if the master bedroom ceiling with popcorn texture, insulation and painting of the room. The workers were prompt, respectful and very professional. They did such a fantastic job you can’t see where the old and new ceiling are joined. It’s like I have a totally new master bedroom. Do not hesitate to hire this company.

First time customer, very professional and positive experience from start to finish. Gene and his crew did a great job, and delivered a quality result. Thanks to Shuni for quickly adjusting to our “change orders” throughout the project. They did such a great job we kept adding more scope. See you next project!

Excellent detailed drywall installation and repair, wall texturing and painting. They did extra little things that they did not have to do. They were flexible with plan changes. I would definitely call them again.

LuxCon responded immediately to the job, did a remarkable job with replacing the damaged drywall. They were neat, always on time and very considerate of how their work was impacting the rest of the house.
