I had the pleasure of working with Chevon on getting a great deal, and my solar panels installed. He was very knowledgeable on different panel brands, inverters (micro vs string), and provided a realistic timelines based on your town. Him and and team also found a great deal on tree trimming to increase sunlight exposure to the panels.

Getting a solar panel was a big decision, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Chevon. He was patient, knowledgeable, understanding, and thorough with all the information. From the start, he was super helpful with scheduling our meetings, always accommodating our schedules to include my husband and me on the call. He broke down everything, even when we asked the same question a hundred times. He was always available to us. He not only helped us with this process but also pushed our HOA to create guidelines in our development since we were the first home in our community to set up solar panels. He and his team at Infinity met with the HOA board and got the approval to create guidelines for solar panels in our community. He also connected us to an amazing insurance representative who helped us meet the requirements set by our HOA. Even though he was on a scheduled vacation during our installation date, he still made sure to check in on the process. Chevon was professional yet personal throughout the whole process. Chevon definitely gained our trust, and we are very happy that he was the one guiding us through all this process.

After considerable due diligence on dozens of New York solar systems companies, I picked three candidates, all in the five top scorers in the New York State, and the only ones with a platinum rating from NYSERDA. I contacted three local companies and explained what I wanted. Only one person responded with a phone call and a meeting request, and that was Chevon Rutty, a Managing Partner at Precision Solar.

We met several times, and Chevy produced a detailed proposal. We discussed that proposal at length. I then forwarded the proposal to a relative who had sold solar systems in Georgia and believed that almost all of them were scams. He told me that Precision Solar was the real deal, not cheap, but worth it. I signed with Precision a week or so later.

It war worth every penny. Early one Monday morning, the dump truck arrived, and shortly thereafter all the roofing materials needed to completely re-roof our garage, which was old and not in great shape. It took a day and a half to completely repair and redo the garage roof, clean up the mess completely, and haul all the debris away in the dump truck. Early Wednesday morning, the panel and electrical guys arrived and had the entire roof solar paneled and working, with the NYSEG meter arrow pointing backwards.

I am absolutely delighted with the service provided, with the obvious level of expertise, with the friendliness of the entire staff, with their readiness to explain to me what was what and how it all worked. In particular, Chevy was open and helpful at every stage of the project. One month later, when I bring up the solar cellphone app, I can see that on a sunny summer day, the panels provide all our power, and we are selling some back to NYSEG. And we haven't yet trimmed the trees that are shading the garage during part of the day!

So, FIVE STARS. I would award ten if I could.

I was extremely skeptical about going solar. I’ve been pitched for years and never pulled the trigger because something always felt off. Either the numbers didn’t make sense or the person selling it did. Having Chevy direct me throughout this entire process with Precision was the difference maker. Very straightforward, no fluff, no games kind of guy. He set clear expectations from day one and stuck to them. It was not perfect but Chevy made mention to all that could be delayed or go wrong initially and that alone earned my trust. I have a 17kW system and was averaging about $398 a month on my electric. Our biggest concern was the summer because we were seeing bills climb past $500 at times. Chevy structured a fixed plan that brought me down to a fixed $210 a month, essentially cutting my bill in half. This will save us roughly $2,500–$3,000 this year alone. I told him I’d leave a review if the experience was good but it was truly exceptional from start to finish. The install crew literally spent half a day shoveling my drive way and my roof in preparation for the installation. I’m very happy I finally moved forward and I am very impressed with the leadership and consistency with everyone under this organization.

One of the best Christmas light company out there in northern bergen county. This is my second year with JVS. This year I decided to change my light color and was unhappy with my choice. Joe and his team came unannounced and switched the lights for me back to last years color. Talk about customer service! This company is top notch and they will work with their costumers til the end!!! Highly recommend!!

Joe came out and worked out a lighting design based on our budget. His office staff immediately sent over the contract and scheduled our installation.

Installation was smooth - the elves came out and got it all done in about 4 hours. A snowstorm rolled in just right after they finished and my kids came home from school to a winter wonderland (courtesy of JVS and mother nature).

Overall, a very professional outfit, beautiful design and a pleasure to work with. We are using them again this year.
