I recommend Sun Power to my friend, family, and neighbors. They have a great process, people, and install was smooth. Bobby Blackmon of Sun Power made sure we had all the panels and back up batteries we needed to ensure no power bill. We have had our solar for a couple of years now and are still satisfied with our purchase. We are extremely happy with Sun Power!

Horrible customer service and horrible system.When you need them to come for service , you have to pay them . My system has been down for few months and when I called them to come take a look they want 250 dollars for site visit . Stay away from these crooks

Terrible company, we were assured when the solar was purchased that everything was under warranty and to just call for service if an inverter goes out or there's any issues. The system has been online for a year and during that time another company purchased Sun Solar and is no longer honoring these agreements. I've already lost an inverter on one panel in under a year and the company will not even come to look at it without charging, on top of that in the last month the company is now charging $10 per month for full use of their monitoring app that tells you what your panels are producing and if there's any issues with them. Avoid this place, they do not honor their contracts and have clearly decided to take advantage of their customers by requiring a paid subscription for their solar.

Charged me $250 to have a tech come out for 10 minutes to tell me the system wasn’t communicating with the panels. That’s what they were called out to fix. My panels are leased and should not have had a charge to inspect them. I’ve gone back and forth with Sun Solar and SunStrong to get reimbursed for something I shouldn’t have paid for in the first place. The tech didn’t fix anything. I want my $250 refunded or credited to my account. No one should be charging $250 for 10 minutes to do nothing.

Not a honest company . Their warranty service is a joke. Basically there is no warranty to anything they install . You have to pay for every visit that should be covered under warranty .

This company was reputable up to a few years ago. Had them do our solar panels 10+ years ago at another house and again more recently.

Started getting monitoring alerts in June. Called for service under warranty. Took a while to get approval for warranty repair. Fast forward almost 3 months later and they come out to do the repair.

Technician does the work and tells my wife he's done. Immediately I'm getting past due invoices through email to pay for their service fee of $250.

The best part - I'm still getting monitoring alerts. Yeah they didn't fix the problem. So I get in contact with them and basically they are telling me there is a bad solar panel and they only got approval to replace another part that didn't fix the problem.

Why didn't anyone tell us they didn't fix the problem?

So to fix the bad panel they have to get approval for that and charge another $250 service fee.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys. I'm only a couple years into buying these solar panels and kinda stuck.

Considering doing the repairs myself since I can get the parts for less than what they want to charge for "service"

I hadn’t planned on leaving a review until I received a text asking for my feedback.

Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely frustrating. I strongly advise staying away from solar, especially leasing. It’s been nothing but a headache.

My lease was originally with one company, then sold to SunPower, and then sold again multiple times after that. When I sold my home, the paperwork was mishandled, and somehow I was still listed as leasing a system I no longer owned.

The whole process has felt like a scam, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

One to the worst solar company in town whose foundation is based on lies . When they installed my system I was told they monitor solar production regularly for their clients . My solar system has been dead for 6 months and they had no clue about it .
They’ll sugarcoat all the slick sales talk to trap you in buying their product. When something goes wrong you have to pay them for the visit even if your solar equipment is still under warranty.
Stay away from them .

We had Rick do all of our outdoor lightning while building our new hone, fortunately we had the pleasure of working directly with Rick and not our builder, I was so pleased with Rick’s professionalism and response to all my inquiries.. a year later I have called Rick several times with little issue (not to do with his work exactly) and Rick or his crew have been there to help us within a couple of days
Highly recommend Rick and Brilliant Lights, and if you call him and would like to come by and see our outdoor lightning, we would be more than happy to do a show for you

Brilliant Lights did wonder job highlighting the front of our house and pool cage! It looked spectacular for our wedding we had at our home!

I recommend Brilliant Nights, they did a really good job on our landscape lights. I met with Rick the owner regarding the job and had a great experience all around.

Had the owner of this company meet me on my only day off a week ago to try to get a plan going for lighting and ground work around my entire house. Tried calling him during the week and received no response. A week passed and he finally picked up. Pretty much told me that he was busy taking care of other projects. He still had no plan or pricing for me AFTER A WEEK. Looks like I wasted my time. Meanwhile I had other companies calling me all week. I thought I was taken care of but apparently not. Perfect example of over promised and under delivered. Don't bite off more than what you can chew pal.

Rick, and his installer Jason handled everything professionally and as promised. The communication was always top notch and as I would have expected. If you are looking to get outdoor lighting installed I recommend putting these folks on your short list.

I have a large side yard with mature palm trees I wanted to light, along with new lighting in my back yard and lanai. Rick and his installer, Jason, did an amazing job putting in new LED lighting that I can color change with an app on my phone, plus beautiful hanging lights that make my lanai sparkle at night! I'll definitely use them again when I decide to update the front of my house!

Rick with Brilliant Nights was extremely professional, efficient and knowledgeable regarding our outdoor lighting needs! I would recommend him and his company 100%! We are extremely pleased!

Rick is prompt and professional. I first called him to look into a problem with one of my landscape lighting transformers that needed to be repaired. After doing such a great job, I called him back to place lighting at the beginning of my (very long) driveway. Rick listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered on time and exactly as I envisioned. I will certainly call him back should I have other lighting needs.

Rick installed our outdoor lights and our yard has never looked so beautiful at night! To top it off, Brilliant Nights has great customer service. Highly recommend!
