I checked out others prices and reviews prior. I was happy to see I made the correct choice. Matt and his crew were punctual, cleaned up after themselves, knowledgeable and courteous. It took two days because of rain. He was happy to program remotes, demonstrate the new operations and answer other technical questions. Other recommendations about future uses were offered as well.

Rod and his guys did an outstanding job on my opener. I have a 16ft wide 7 1/2ft tall single gate.Rod guided me as far as what I needed. Opener 3 remotes a keypad and fireman’s box and 7 year warranty. All rigged out cheaper then anyone around and drove all the way to Port Allen. I would call on a Sunday morning to leave a message for them on Monday asking questions about research on the unit and I would get a call back within mins on there day off. Great company completely happy with my unit. Thank you Rob and your team. Highly recommended

I am the type that researches endlessly and then ends up putting off a decision because there are too many options to choose from. Well, I was tired of seeing my current gate not opening. So was my wife. I went to their website one night and requested a quote and had it the next morning at like 6 am. I had a few follow up questions that I emailed and Rod called me that same morning. After we hung up, I had a couple more questions that I forgot to ask. I called Rod and he got back to me ASAP. Once I accepted the quote, I literally had a new gate opener the next day. Rod’s guys showed up as promised and were very efficient in their work. The employees spoke highly of their company as well when I was talking to them. I had gotten three quotes for my job and the difference in Rod’s quote was the customer service (and price). Win win combination, right? Rod was incredibly knowledgeable and so was his crew. They answered any questions that I asked them. Rod never tried to up-sell anything. I never felt pressured. I can’t recommend this company enough. It was truly a pleasure doing business with these guys.

It was a pleasure to work with Rod at Gonzales Electric Gate from the initial phone call all the way through installation. I emailed a request for an estimate and Rod responded immediately. We setup a time to meet after we got off of work one evening so we wouldn’t need to take time off. Everything was discussed and explained thoroughly, from the material and operation to the design and automation. The installation was quick and precise; even the trench they had to dig to route the power was almost invisible. From start to finish Gonzales Electric Gates is an A Plus operation with professional and courteous employees and superb workmanship.

Came out 48 hours after I called- as scheduled. Called when they were on their way. The tech took his time, checked everything throughly and resolved the issue. Added a third remote for us and a key pad, as requested. Had to come back to install the keypad the next business day (as communicated), and wouldn’t take payment (even partial payment) until the job was completed and was satisfactory.

Price was communicated every step upon the way.

I’ve been calling other local companies for two years and no one would ever show up! So glad they came out as promised and resolved our gate issues!

Gonzales Electric Gates were professional & very customer friendly from the beginning of contacting them. Amber, the secretary, was professional & informative. All the technicians & workers were professional, hard working & very polite, working hard in inclimate & cold weather. We had a very small glitch in the programming code frequency that interfered with neighbors gate also with Gonzales Electric Gates. The owner & technician followed through & corrected the issue promptly.

I would recommend Gonzales Electric Gates to anyone looking to install automatic gates. These guys did a professional job from the start of the job to its completion at a fair price. Took the time once the job was complete to go over everything to be sure they didn’t miss anything. They operated the gates several times to be sure everything was working properly and explained every function of the operation to me fully. These guys were top notch.

Rod and his crew are great! From estimate to install, these guys are top notch. Highly recommend! We are so pleased with our electric gate to help contain our German Shepherd dog. They perfectly matched an existing fence and made it work.

Rod and his crew installed barrier arm gates for our church driveway. They were extremely professional, timely, and honest. On top of that, they did a fantastic job. I am glad we selected them and I can highly recommend them.

My gate install just concluded this week and I love it! They are easy to get in contact with for any questions or scheduling. Rod and his team worked in a timely manner as promised in the beginning of the process. They were very accommodating to my availability. I would recommend to anyone! Now my puppy has full access to the yard and I feel safer with my backyard/garage gated in!

Gonzales Electric Gates did a great job on our driveway gate. Rod gave us the option of using the current fence that we have and he gave us several options that varied in price. None of the other companies that we got quotes from offered these options. This was huge for us!! The best part was that they had the job done within 3 days of the quote and it looks and works great. The guys that worked on the gate were professional and efficient. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a new gate or to service an existing one.

I called countless other gate companies in Baton Rouge and the surrounding area, which seemed unwilling to even make an appointment. Gonzales Electric Fence made an appointment with me when I called. Garrett came out and took care of my many problems answered all of my questions, took his time, and did an amazing job. I’m so glad I found this company to service my gate. I highly recommend this company.

Customer service and staff here are TOP NOTCH. So professional. I really have to commend Matt for explaining what was wrong with our electric gate, being so apologetic, and him along with the company getting someone out to my house to repair it the very next day! Didn't have a chance to meet Garrett but he did a great job doing the repair! Would 100% recommend this company!

***UPDATE***Below is my original review from years ago, and today we still can't say enough good things about their service and quality of work. After 10 years of dedication, our original gate motor needed replacing, right at its typical shelf life. Rod got us a quote quickly, his guys came out just a few days later and got us hooked right up and back in action. He has the nicest, best crew around, and the customer service can't be beat. We'll never go anywhere else!

Original review: We got our gate through them 3 years ago and they were great then and still are now. Rod is a hands-on owner, and he set it all up for us to get beautiful brick columns that match our house bricks and then installed our electric gate with just the design I wanted. It looks perfect! Since then we've had a few questions or issues along the way (due to fried lizards, etc, not because of product or workmanship problems!), and they have been quick to respond helpfully each time. Best customer service you'll find with any company, hands down. They do a stand up job - quickly, professionally, and for a great price! You won't be disappointed.

The experience was great! GEG furnished and installed the electric LiftMaster LA400 Gate Opener for our residential wrought iron gate. The estimate was fair and there was exceptional follow-up from the servicemen/estimator to get the services explained and scheduled. From estimate to completion was roughly 2-3 weeks; very quick. Everyone openly communicated especially when the weather was not favorable. We also had the app for the opener installed and it is a great solution for people who do not want to be limited by physical keys and want remote setting capabilities. I'd gotten outrageous quotes and really rude responses from other businesses so, the overall customer service experience was the most attractive and noteworthy feature of this business. I'll definitely recommend others!!!

My recently installed gate needed a minor adjustment. The response was quick, and the technician was extremely competent. These folks are outstanding! If you need a gate or service on an existing one, these are the "go to" guys.

We had Gonzales Gates come out to repair our electric gates that weren't opening or closing. All 3 tech that came out, 1 for diagnosis, 2 for electrical repair and bracket replacement, were polite, professional and courteous! We will not hesitate to call them again for any other gate issues!
