⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an outstanding experience with Corky's Plumbing Service after our home was heavily damaged by a Hurricane. We needed extensive plumbing work as part of our restoration, and Corky’s came highly recommended. From day one, they exceeded every expectation. This is a second-generation company now led by Chase Parker, and it shows in the way the business is run—with integrity, professionalism, and a true commitment to the customer. Their team delivered top-notch workmanship, excellent communication, and reliable follow-through throughout the entire project. Chase is a hands-on owner who stays involved and ensures things are done right—especially when unexpected issues come up, which is common in major rebuilds. A special shoutout to Brian, who is an exceptional plumber and problem-solver. He consistently went above and beyond, taking pride in his work and making sure every detail was handled correctly. What really sets Corky’s apart is how much they genuinely care. During a very stressful time for our family, they showed compassion, urgency, and a “do the right thing” attitude that is rare to find. If you are looking for a reliable, honest, and highly skilled plumbing company in the Anna Maria / Bradenton area, we give Corky’s Plumbing Service our highest recommendation.

Not an honest guy. Chase the son, quoted us on repairs on a time and material agreement. I agreed to do the digging and filling back in. Showed up at 9 am promptly. Worked until 1230 and then said he was taking off to Home Depot to get a part. 3 1/2 hrs later he comes back. Spends 1 hour finishing the job with a half hour of that laying on the ground or talking on the phone. The original agreement was $98 an hour plus materials. Time and material. When done, he tells me it's gonna be $950 because he spent more time digging. The fact is, he didn't spend any more time, he spent a total of 5 hours. He started making lame excuses. He had to work hard, so apparently that justifies his shady practice of switching the agreement after he's done. He also tried to say he could just charge me for a 9-5 day even when he knew he was gone for 3 1/2 hours. An agreement is an agreement. 5 hours of work ended up being $200 an hr. Chase is not an honest person at all. Taking advantage of people after you made an agreement is bad business. You should be ashamed of yourself. Maybe I'll cancel the check.

Corky’s did a fantastic job with the plumbing in our house during our remodel. They did all the plumbing for a new sink, shower and toilet in two bathrooms and ran water out to our dock. They were very prompt and had very competitive pricing compared to other quotes we received.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing plumbers is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, actively operating, and actually performs the work it claims. For regulated trades, we look for proper credentials, and we automatically hide inactive listings.
-
How do I choose the right plumber?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then confirm the company performs your specific type of work and serves your area. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes, not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. This page, for example, is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
Repair or replace my water heater — how do I decide?
Ask each plumber for both a repair quote and an honest assessment of the unit's remaining life. As a general rule, if the repair costs more than half the price of a new unit, or the tank is past its expected lifespan and leaking, replacement is usually the better value. Get two or three opinions before a decision this large.
-
Do plumbers provide written estimates or flat rates?
Reputable plumbers give written, itemized estimates after diagnosing the problem — and many quote flat rates for common jobs like drain cleaning or fixture repair. Always ask whether the quote is flat-rate or time-and-materials, and whether the diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair.
-
Are plumbers on GigoPro licensed and insured?
Licensing and insurance requirements vary by state and by type of work - especially gas and sewer work. Ask each plumber for their license number and proof of insurance before work begins. Professional companies expect these questions and answer them without hesitation.
-
How much does plumbing service cost?
Costs vary by job type, region, and time of day — there is no honest single number. Reputable plumbers give written estimates after diagnosing the problem, and comparing two or three of them is the best way to understand what your job should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the plumber and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs help the next homeowners in your city choose well — and keep listed professionals at their best.
