This will be more a review of Charlie since it is still operating under the same name.

The company here still operates with the same equipment, maybe the same employees, the same logo, even the same google reviews. As far as I'm concerned not much has changed.

Anyways charlies had improperly cleaned our ductboard ducts causing fiberglass particles to flood the home. Because of this the ducts now needed to be replaced, but so did all of our new furniture, clothes, new carpet etc (roughly $70,000 in items). We did our best to buy the house as is, so this put us in immense financial distress as we now had to try and figure out how to save to replace everything, while paying for the home and another place since we could no longer live in the home. Charlies offered no help other than to refund the $600 cleaning, and also had inadequate insurance to fix the issue, even though they started the claim on our behalf knowing they did damage.

we're doing our best to try and get things relivable, 2024 was a brutal year to just stay afloat with everything.
We honestly wish they would've just helped us get the house back to how it was before they came, but apparently that's too much to ask, and they're fine leaving their customers in a terrible position.

If Charlies ever does decide to do the right thing, we'd greatly appreciate it, a year is too long (and still going). But just take it for what you will, don't end up like us, hopefully things go smoothly for you guys, I'm just an example of what happens when things doesn't, as they just do not care if you have a home to go back to if they make it uninhabitable.

Charlie’s continues to be very dependable. The tech was sent for a free yearly system check. He carefully checked inside and outside units and cleaned both. I am very satisfied with his work and advice

Fast and friendly service. Our technician Joe Burrus was helpful, explained issues clearly, kept us updated about costs, and explained all of our options. The dispatch team follows up quickly about service calls. We had to order a part for one of our units and they called me within an hour to let me know when they’d be able to install. Great experience!

Very kind and respectful with good explanation of what was found, why it needed replaced, and the cost. Was very efficient as well.

The service technician, Eric, arrived within the appointed time. He was pleasant and helpful, answering any questions I had. I am glad that I have the maintenance plan for twice yearly check-ups.

I was originally a customer of Charlie's Tropic H&AC and deservedly so…Charlie retired and transferred all of his customers to Weather Engineers. I was a little nervous that I would not be as happy as I had been all those years with Tropic. I have always had the annual maintenance plan and a technician would come every 6-months to service, clean and test the system. Well, I am almost a year into my new contract with Weather Engineers and I am thrilled with their service! I have interacted with the office staff, technicians and even the management of Weather Engineers and I’m pleased to say that I feel like I’m still with Tropic! They have kept that “family owned business” feel even though they are a much larger company! Every one of the technicians are so nice well informed and very thorough. The trend seems to be that big companies are buying up the smaller ones, but in this case it was a positive move. Try them I think you will be very satisfied.

Hottest day in May on record and the AC dies! It takes three days for the parts to come in and the only thing worse than that is there was a problem undiagnosed on the first visit. The only bright spot in this drama were Joe and Ethan! They not only found the undiagnosed issue, they worked tirelessly for 3 hours to get everything fixed! Their customer service was top tier and they both did what they could to address the earlier misdiagnosis. Highly recommend this company….

The tech was extremely competent and assured. Krispin quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved the issue. Highly recommended.

Technician, Jamie, was extra thorough to valid the problem and found a much lesser problem which saved hours of work and inconvenience on our part. The company undoubtedly saved a bundle in labor costs and we saved a large portion of our day from being inconvenienced without the A/C. Appreciate that kind of conscientious work ethic. Good job. Send him out on my service every time.

Jason performed the required system maintenance as expected. He was professional. Slipping on covers over his shoes when entering my home was appreciated. My experience was considerably better than his previous scheduled appointment. Very happy 😊

Both gentleman were courteous and quick and price is fair. Glad we have our contract - great discount!!. Only thing I wish is that we didn’t have to have a different person to come and install the new part, but it’s quick so ok

We have had a business relationship with Charlie’s Tropic Heating & AC for over a decade. They are: responsive, punctual and efficient. We had a nine year old unit with a 10 year warranty that failed and they replaced it. I was impressed by that. They are newly acquired by a bigger company and so far their service department gets 5 stars from me. These are good people! 👍

I don’t expect this every time, but Mitchell was at my house within the hour after calling when my AC just stopped working after a power surge. And it was after 5.

There are many AC companies to choose from but in 25 years, this has been my go to for anything HVAC. Clearly a winner.

Roy is a really good technician, happy to discuss what's being done, etc. He is very efficient, tools organized and handy. Service contract visit only.

Every single time I use this Company I am very satisfied. This is my first review ever. The reps who answer the call are courteous and professional. The techs who showed (Joe and Alex) are knowledgeable and left their work area clean and straight. Will stick with this company for all of our AC needs due to the quick response and professional employees. Best of all, I know with confidence, as I had other quotes for various AC work, they always beat the competition.

I called Charlie's Tropic to report one of their drivers staring at his phone while driving van # 551 down 9A. I told this to whomever picked up the phone, and they hung up on me.

The tech, Jasen, was great. Clearly explained what he was seeing in the system and what could be done to mediate it if I chose to. Always happy with the service!

I was extremely pleased by the professionalism of the technician and his ability to efficiently and effectively perform tasks on my water to air system! Further, I was advised in advance of the technicians arrival schedule which was accurate.
