I recently had an outdoor weatherproof GFI installed that required running about 200 feet of conduit/wiring. Russ and Travis were professional and extremely efficient. They arrived right on time and were very flexible with the scope of the project. Their work exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend Rayco.

Rayco Electric personnel - Maryanne - who I spoke with several times to set up the appointments and provide and get a status; Charlie - who came and assessed the problem and run the temporary power from the meter to the house; Russ and Paul - who came to run the new main power line underground from the meter to the house were excellent. The 3rd party company they contract with to dig the ground and run the underground pipe were good once they showed up to do the job. That is my only criticism. The diggers did not show up when they were scheduled and did not notify Rayco. But Rayco personnel themselves were very professional.

They came out within the hour after I called at 7am about having only half power in my house starting late the night before. They found the problem, repaired it promptly and we're courteous and professional. I will definitely call Rayco when I need an electrician. Experience counts!

Over the weekend (of course!) we had a problem with the AC system on a rental property. The AC tech got the system temporarily working but we needed a licensed electrician to do the final repairs. I didn't have a regular electrician so I relied on two positive Google reviews to pick Rayco. Great choice! Rayco's electrician (Jeremy) got to the job quickly, with excellent communications through the process explaining exactly what needed to be done and finished the job efficiently. Friendly communications and easy payment though Jaime at the home office. Best of all...the bill didn't "shock" me. (-: Highly recommend.

Bryan at Rayco Electric's service is second to none. I was in need of a job I thought might be too small for them, but they came out the same day, had my job done and no problems or issues. The price was fantastic and I needed another contractor and they had a great referral for the other work I needed done. Highly recommend Bryan and Rayco!

An appointment was made thereafter to carry out the work, we were kept informed and the electrician duly arrived on time. The work was carried out diligently and professionally. All in all, a great experience and we’ll have no hesitation in using Rayco again.

From start to finish Rayco made the process of converting my over head main line to an under ground line and taking my 85yr old house from two outdated panels to one new panel. Jake stayed in contact with me during the initial process and quote. When the work started, Randall and Anthony appeared to work nonstop until the job was finished. They remained polite and professional through the entire process. Upon completion of the installation they went through the house ensuring every room and all appliances had power. They took time to answer all my questions and we’re incredibly thorough in their work and post work inspection. I would highly recommend Randall and Anthony at Rayco electric.

Recently had some major electrical work done at my house by Rayco. First I will say out of 8-10 companies I had come out for on site evaluations to get a quote. Barney was the only one who understood and fully comprehended what was going to need to be done. Other contractors (big name companies) didn't even bid me properly for what I asked for and was needing. Rayco came back with a very fair and reasonable bid and I decided to go with them. They scheduled me in, no delays or re-scheduling. Everyone arrived on time day of the work and everything was done and approved by inspectors same day. Overall I am very happy with the quality of work they preformed. I would recommend them to anyone with electrical needs.

Russ and Paul did a fantastic job, including a number of items that were not on my original project list. Rayco has always been fairly priced per hour and flexible to my needs. I would highly recommend them.

I chose this business because they are a Better Business Council member through the Manatee Chamber of Commerce. As the BBC manager, I know the business and I felt confident they were a business I could trust with my new home. They were wonderful to work with from start to finish. I had a FHA 203k renovation loan which required a lot of moving parts and technical issues. They worked with me to get all the paperwork in that was required and the constantly moving start date, thanks to the electric company. Ray was awesome about taking the time to explain electric terms in person that I could understand. He also never batted an eye when I said I wanted a switch flipped or little extras that weren't on the original contract. Once we were a go, they showed up on time and accommodated my other contractors that were also there the week they were getting their things done. Very professional from start to finish. I can highly recommend them as a business that adheres to a higher standard of doing better business in the Manatee County Area.

My wife and I have used Rayco Electric for all our electric issues since we bought our house 5 years ago -- and have been very happy with the results every time we've needed any service. The admin office has always been efficient in arranging and confirming the service times -- and the electricians have been punctual, skilled and courteous -- and have solved every electrical issue we have had at the house. Not impressed Office customer service is sub standard. Three phone calls and two emails . Waited 10 days with no follow up from them. just to be told that they are too busy to look at my project.

From the very start the estimator and the office personnel were quick, communicative, and very helpful with getting us a quote for new LED lights in our warehouse. It took Rayco less than two weeks to quote and complete all the work in our warehouse. The installers worked very hard to complete the installation leaving everything perfect after they were finished. My warehouse is very bright and we are very pleased with the outcome. 10 out of 10 recommend Rayco Electric.

Cannot tell you how well of a job they did because after a phone conversation and an email detailing my needs, Rayco never contacted me again. 2 stars for answering the phone, I guess, which is hard to come by these days. Rayco must be busy, and Im happy for them. I went with Sunrift Electric who responded quickly, professionally, and at a fair price. Maybe you’ll have better luck with Rayco than I did… Somebody out there must be giving them their business.

rayco always does great work would not use anyone else

The guys who came out were extremely friendly and neat. They made sure to wear booties in the house and even vacuumed up the little bit of debris from their work. I wouldn't go with anyone else.

Rayco electric did a fine job. I asked to update electrical in 20 yo house. They changed 2 outlet to 4 outlet w chargers, added ceiling fixtures, moved ceiling fixture, added outdoor lights, etc. polite clean competent!! Would rec
