Tree reviews in Brandon, Florida

I just moved on to my new property in March of this year and was overwhelmed with the amount of work that needed to be done. I had John from tactical stump grinding come out and give me an estimate on getting rid of some of the major areas of palmettos and places where trees had been cut down, but the stumps were still viable and starting to regrow. . I thought this was going to be quite a few different days of work, but John assured me that he and his crew could do it in one day with himself and another crew member. Not only did yl
they do a superior job, but I was given an honest and fair estimate as well as fair pricing and excellent customer service. John and his crew took extra Care with my garden plants and trees that are little seedlings and did not ruin a single plant of mine that was of importance. They also carefully took and kept a few of the native plants that I wanted to keep in those areas for me later on. I'm highly impressed with the professionalism, personal attention to detail, friendliness and communication, and the results exceeded All my expectations. I highly recommend practical stump grinding to anyone looking for excellent skill and quality work.
I wish I would have taken the before pictures but here are the after pictures...

This company was amazing. They were fast, reliable, and very thorough in their work. I couldn’t have asked for a better company to remove the remaining stump portion of the tree. There is no point in looking for another company. These are the guys to hire! 5 stars all the way!

TSG arrived early and efficiently completed the grinding of the 5-stump cluster of our monster oak tree we had cut down right before Hurricane Ian in September. They did an exceptional job and completed the work very quickly and professionally in less than 3 hours, attacking the problem with 2 grinders. They left the yard looking great! I highly recommend them!

Highly recommend! Very responsive, out next business day. Was able to work around the irrigation. Job completed in less than an hour.

Best stump grinder in Tampa! Got back to me right away, price was fair, and scheduled for the same week. He's got different size grinders, too, so he's able to reach some stumps that other grinders can't. John is also a good, down-to-earth, family man, so it's easy to support a guy like him. Thanks, John, and until next time, brother!

John and Tactical Stump Grinding did an amazing job quickly and thoroughly grinding a couple of stumps on my property. No damage done to adjacent concrete, and he also ground visible roots as well. I highly recommend John and Tactical for your stump grinding needs!

I can highly recommend Tactical Stump Grinding. John is professional and proficient. He did a beautiful job grinding and leveling two stumps for me, didn't leave behind a mess, and fair with his pricing. If I need any future stumps removed I'll be reaching out to him. Thank you for the cleaning and making my yard look beautiful again.

Reached out on a Saturday due to other crews not showing up. Got a message from John on Sunday and came out same day to look and provide a quote. Was reasonably priced and was able to come out and meet our timeline. Came out on Wednesday, got the job done in about 30 minutes and cleaned up after himself.

Would highly recommend and use again.

I sent an inquiry via the company website and soon after was contacted by John who was very clear and honest regarding pricing and answering all questions I had. My neighbor and I both had stumps which needed to be removed. John showed up on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and left the areas looking wonderful. I will absolutely recommend Tactical Stump Grinding to anyone I know.

John from Tactical Stump Grinding met all of my requirements. He was available and readily answered all of my questions before I even hired him for the job! He looked at my property and gave a competitive estimate that satisfied me sufficiently! The job involved three large stumps and John completed the project in a timely manner. He was respectful of the property and cleaned up when he finished. Should the need arise for additional work, I will not hesitate to call Tactical Stump Grinding or even recommend John to my friends.

John was very professional, quick efficient, and very resonable pricing! He left behind no mess and made sure my job was completed very fast to our initial call. I recommend John to anyone that needs any stump grinding done.

John from tactical stump grinding is the best he went above and beyond expectations. He didn’t just leave a pile of mulch and took the time to spread and grade everything out. I definitely did not expect that he saved me hours of work. Thank you John much appreciated. Definitely recommend him and his company you won’t be disappointed.

Very pleased! I needed to have a large oak stump ground down a couple of months ago. John was readily available and quick to respond with messages and calls. The price estimate he provided was competitive and fair. He worked very efficiently with the grinding machine, you could tell he knew what he was doing. He did a nice job of cleaning up afterwards and blowing off the driveway. On top of that, he even provided some advice on how to care for the soil where the stump once was in preparation for sod I was going to put down.
