Our 30-year-old home had an original heat pump that needed to be replaced. Since the home was built, we added an extra 300-500 sq ft to open up the main living area. The owner of the HVAC company provided excellent advice for our needs. He suggested we keep the same specifications for the new heat pump because the existing ductwork matched the tonnage, but he also recommended upgrading the air handler to boost airflow in the expanded space. His advice was spot on! The new Trane unit works perfectly in our home! During the installation, the team encountered some challenges and had to redo some drywall to fit the new air handler. They quickly found a drywall expert the same day, and they also built a new double door entry to the utility room while installing the heat pump and air handler. The price was fantastic for the quality of the brand and the installation. I highly recommend their services!
