There are no words to describe the mental anguish Paul, the owner, and Matt, his worker put me through. He wouldn't come back to make his work pass Lee county code. Another company, over a year, and $2,000 later it passed.

I was quoted $2,300 just to pull a permit under their license for an AC unit, which is completely unreasonable. There was no installation involved, no materials, just paperwork and a license sign-off.
I’ve since learned that in Lee County, this type of service typically costs a fraction of that. Charging over two grand for something like this feels excessive and out of touch with reality.
What’s more frustrating is there was no clear breakdown of the cost—just a flat number with no justification. It comes across as taking advantage of customers who may not know the going rates.
I wouldn’t recommend this company unless you’re okay with being heavily overcharged. Definitely get multiple quotes before moving forward.
