I've used them before and I'll use them again. Rick was very helpful and I'm happy with the job.

Nursery has a nice selection of plants and trees, but unfortunately, we didn't do any research on this company before laying out nearly $15,000 for a front yard redo. So called "landscape designer" laid out one plan, lacking creativity, basically tearing out all our living, blooming plants and replacing them with different living, blooming plants. Disappointed in the overall result, considering our money could have been much better spent. They came in to do the install after several days of hard rain, tropical weather in June, the yard was a mess. Plans were altered at the last minute, throwing trees and plants in wherever they would fit. It was clear this business is all about selling, installing and getting out quick...we had recently relocated to Cape Coral from the Midwest and got suckered....don't let this happen to you.

I highly recommend Danny Yates nursery! His team is amazing when it comes to landscaping detail and customer service whether your a home owner or a commercial tree/landscaper like myself. They always have the highest quality plants/trees, which matters the most!! I only buy from this company and would recommend anyone needing landscaping/trees/shurbs to also use them! Thanks Danny Yates and team for always being the best at what you do!!!

This place is my Happy Place! Love all of the plants & trees, and soil selections. I've gone here for flowers, plants, bushes, soil and mulch. The Women that work there are great people and down-to-earth. They work very very hard! And have alot to do. I love visiting Danny Yates Landscaping.

I usually get all my Saint Augustine grass from king sod but he was closed on Sunday. So I went to Danny Yates. I got 20 pieces which was 47$ worth of grass. I watered the grass as told and followed the directions. The grass turned brown and died within 5 days. I called and asked about a refund and the first lady was absolutely wrong and kept contradicting herself trying to point blame at me. I have learned my lesson and will only keep my business with King Sod. I would not recommend this grass from Danny Yates. Also while putting grass into your vehicle it is extremely muddy so be prepared.

I stopped in today with no real clue what I wanted to do with my landscaping. The young woman who helped me out too the time to explain what types of plants work best in various environments. Since I wanted flowering plants(per my daughter) she helped me select a nice variety. I can't wait to come pick them up once I finish the layout. I appreciate the time you took with me this afternoon.

Very rude … workers didn’t appreciate the customers . I went with my husband , we arrived a bit late since it was 4:45 and they closed at 5 but we were expecting to get a lot stuff since we are doing our front and backyard . One of the girl who work there instantly called someone to help us .. we started looking and asking for one of the palm we will like to take .. selecting one and looking for another palm there was the same worker and came to us just to tell us that they will be closing at 5 and if we would like to come back tomorrow since it was already 5:54 and they were about to closed . For one moment i look at my baby girl and turn my face and loon at my husband like it’s this really happening?? i was in shock … don’t get me wrong i completely understand that everyone wants to leave already but there is a customer who already told him we will be getting sone of plants and palms from someone who deals everyday with customer services in this case myself i can garantes that if i was the person asking and a client is telling me that i will never say anything about the time we are closing … I has never felt so bad and disappointed… worst customer services ever … Im so sorry but i need to let the owner of this business the lack of customer services that place offer to clients or mayor clients .. I had to left since the guy told us that there was no time left to keep looking for what we were about to take … so rude and 0 respect .

Well...I called a few weeks ago to inquire about purchasing some trees. I just had a simple question that the lady who answered the phone couldn't answer. She took my name and number for someone else to call me back. They never called. Guess they don't care about making money! I'm buying from elsewhere who wants to be a successful business!

We had a great experience there picking out palm trees and Cheryl was extremely helpful, we went back the next day to pay balance and bought 6 more trees from Cheryl. 4 days later they were delivered and installed. We would highly recommend this company

My Experience was great i good while ago there bobco operator ran over my trailer gate. Danny Yates came out to the site told me to go to the trailer shop and get a quote for damage, and call up the office..So the next day i did it was determined i needed a new gate $250.. I called office he wasn't in . So i called back every couple days for well over a month after He was on a supposedly was on vacation. I just want everyone to know how they are. Im over the money for trailer gate over all they lost out the most i have bought well over 100k on trees, plants,shrubs,and supplies from his competitors since

Get all our plants here, never had any issues, the variety of the plants are great, the people who work here are so nice and helpful. Love this place and will continue to spend my money here

I spent over 2500 dollars on two palm trees, a royal ponciana and fertilizer just before the hurricane. Got them installed by Danny Yates company. I had no flooding during the hurricane but my ponciana died anyway. I had called Danny Yates co and asked what to do. They said they would replace the trees since I just bought them and had them installed but I said well let me see if I can stand the palms back up and I’ll get somebody out here to see if I can add nutrients to help. So I took on that expense even though they offered. Well I saved the palms but the ponciana still died. So I called Danny Yates back a year later after trying everything for this tree and I was told it had since changed ownership and they would not replace my ponciana. I understand business with live plants but I was just disappointed that they went back on their word. I was going to buy more as well but that’s the way it goes I guess.

We paid $150 to have someone come out to help design our landscaping. Was told by the employee he would get it back to us within a week or two. After 3 weeks of not hearing anything we proceeded with another landscaper that was timely and responsive. I called to request our $150 deposit back and was told that they had the design ready that day and that our deposit was non-refundable. They are the ones that breached the contract but still refused to refund our money. They were very rude and unprofessional about the matter. Don't waste your money going there!

Where do I start, I did not pick this contractor to do my irrigation or any other work. My builder Arnold Roberts did. According to the lady answering the phone at his office Danny Yates does NOT back his product.

I have a broken sprinkler head that I did NOT break. She said they inspected the system in February. I didn’t move in until March 15. There were contractors and workers here that entire time. I had never seen the sprinklers operate. The builder programed the system to come on at midnight. I’m in bed at that time.

Shortly after I moved in I did notice a trench on my property line getting deeper. I also noticed dirt on the seawall. I assumed it had something to do with rain. This morning I was getting ready to close up the house, for memorial day week, and I tested the system for the first time and found that bubbling water was coming out of the ground in one of the spots where a sprinkler head should be. I had to dig down just to retrieve it. So it’s been that way for a long time. I called Danny Yates today to ask him to take care of it. The lady in the office proceeded to tell me they don’t back their product. Suffice it to say I was incredulous.

I think it’s important before you buy from someone to know what they refuse to do. Unfortunately I didn’t get that opportunity. YOU DO!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. Unless you want a company that does NOT back their products. In my opinion if you won’t take care of your customers you should not be in business. Time to move on Danny Yates.

I recently visited my mother in Fla.from NJ to help with some planting and landscaping that was destroyed from the hurricane. I only had 5 days to accomplish this and visited Yates nursery, they were quick to offer assistance stating that they could be there to complete a 485.00 job we decided on. Less than 24 hours later when I called to ask them to remove an item from the order that wasn’t even delivered yet I was nastily told about a restocking fee. I was told by my credit card company that this is fraudulent because the charge was still in the pending stage. When I contacted Yates the same women vehemently refused to listen and also told me they couldn’t get the work done like they promised. I cancelled the job and was still charged on my credit card for services not performed! I intend to report this to the BBB. I should have listened to my sister who used them previously and also had problems.

Troy and the Danny Yates Landscaping team did a phenomenal job repairing fill washout and replacing sod on a new construction site. We were also very pleased with their landscape design and with the quality of new palms and plants and the care they took to install. Yates truly lived up to their impeccable reputation!

They did a great job for me at my new home in Cape Coral. Lisa in particular is always responsive and helpful and they’ve always done what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, for the price they quoted. Rare these days. I will continue to use Danny Yates for our properties landscaping.
