Contact-less drop-off drive-through. Drive up, show driver's license, stop at the drop-off point, open the trunk and let the crew do the rest. Very friendly crew by the way. Check if your city is served before going.

I went out today May 16th and it was closed. The website did not state that it was temporarily closed. The man told me that google lies. Google doesn't lie if you have competent people doing their job.

no wonder the county and city has an illegal dumping problem. they are only open on saturday for a few hours. why would you be open more than 5 hours 1 day a week....

Customer Service is really bad.
The employees are on the phone all the time. They will give you a hard time for the simplest things because they don’t want to work.
I prefer to pay somebody to throw away my garbage, not coming here ever again!

When you drop off anything other than small items carried in your car, basically anything requiring a pickup or larger you are directed to follow the signs for the landfill, maybe a half mile or more over barely passable dirt "pot-holed" road, littered with debris, and then onto the landfill pile itself for 200 yards or more to the spot where you will dump. You will be driving over God knows what, boards, nails, construction material, and junk of all sorts, as well as nastiness I cannot describe. Find an alternate place or pay for removal and save your tires and sanity.

We cleaned out our shed and took old paint to the facility. Everyone that worked there was helpful, friendly and professional. It was fast and efficient.

Ok, so it says Broward County HHW and the sign says it too. However, they only service about 10% of the area. Drove there and I was asked what city I live in. I live less than a quarter mile from here and she said they couldn't accept anything from Davie. Weird. I then said my other home is Lauderdale by the Sea. Sorry, they don't take for their either. I asked if they serviced any of Broward County, as the sign suggests. She said only Hollywood and Dania. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid at all costs unless you are from Hollywood or Dania. No wonder they are only open one day a week. They only cover about 10,000 people in the whole county. Ridiculous.

Update- My last trip there the one employee checking in people was less then friendly. All of my previous encounters were positive.
The drop off procedure is usually easy, in and out, convient drop off of household hazardous waste.

Not sure why people complain about a free service for residents of Broward. convenient as can be for me the DYI guy. Remodeled my closet or getting rid of stuff in garage. When else will I go but on Saturday, when I am off. The person complaining about illegal there are county dump sites for comercial use and these do have a fee just use gOogle you will them, oh you don’t want to pay well Yeah wait until Saturday.

Super easy. Show your driver's license at entrance to prove residency. The guys there were super helpful. Web site is very clear about what they accept.

Convenient location for disposal old appliances and electronics. The staff take care of unloading items from your car. The process is so super easy.

This is a convenient location. You have to be a resident of the participating cities. You can visit once on each Saturday. You cannot print a trailer longer than 7 feet. They accept, electronics and household chemicals and motor oil. They like their waste separated, so metal, will not go in with yard waste or household trash. They close at 3pm.
