I have been working with Cutter's Edge for several years now on and off for a variety of tasks. I can gladly say this is reputable, professional, and knowledgeable company. I have been fortunate to deal with Michael Cihal, who at the drop of a hat has gone out of his way to assist me. From arborist reports, to tree trimming, plantings, you name it.... Michael has assisted with any last minute request/questions. He has exceeded what we expect as professional standards from a company and always aims to ensure we have clarity on the task at hand. Has made our choice to lean on Cutter's Edge for our needs extremely comfortable and easy.

My daughters and I came home to a huge tree branch blocking my entire doorway. Within 30 minutes Mike and his team were at my door. Prompt, polite, efficient! Thank you!

Cutters Edge has wrecked our property, and are dishonest about work they do and don't do. They have charged irrigation repairs of $200 to over $400 per month, with no verification of work that they claim to have done, and we are a small 64 unit condo complex. We have tried to get out of our contract with them before they totally destroy our complex. They will let us get out of the contract, but only for an exorbitant amount of money. We are counting the days till they are no longer on our property. Be diligent before contracting them, and make sure your attorney approves your contract, as they are cunning.

I use Cutters Edge at the property I manage. They are quite pristine when it comes to the services provided. I'm happy with our landscaping. I'm most happy about how great our account manager Dennis is. He's attentive to our needs and always answers us with a sense of urgency. The company is great and the staff is even better. Driver of large trailer is a terrible driver and nearly killed me today on the highway because he’s reckless and aggressive. Super disrespectful and dangerous. Do not support this terribly managed business.

If yoi are in the process or even thinking about hiring this company dont. They destroy everything in their path. Unfortunately im stuck because im in an HOA that is in love with them. They cut the grass and instead of cleaning They leave all the clippings on the pool deck even in the pool. I habe been dealing with this for over a year now. They call you and speak to you and all they do is lie on your face. I wish I could have the HOA fire them.

I am writing this as president of our condominium association. Cutter's Edge has been our landscape partner for several years now has always done a great job. But this Sunday they proved themselves to be beyond a great partner. We had a tree fall on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 after all the maintenance staff had gone home. It totally blocked the road. We got in touch with Mike Cihal at Cutter's Edge he mobilized the team to come to our aid and within 3 hours of the tree falling Cutters Edge had come, gone and cleaned it all up. They have been exemplary and I highly recommend them

I was sitting in my vehicle, which had just been detailed, when this worker began edging directly next to me—sending grass, dirt, and small rocks inside and hitting my truck. He had plenty of space to work in the opposite direction or could have simply asked me to move, but didn’t bother. I didn’t even have time to react before the debris hit. To make matters worse, I watched him do the exact same thing at a nearby property right after. It’s clear this guy has zero regard for people’s vehicles or property. Completely careless and unprofessional.

If there are no cars or a vacant lot, you can edge starting that direction so the grass, pebbles go in that direction.

Great experience, specifically with David Phang. He immediately responded to my inquiry and put together an action plan to accomplish my goals. The crew came in quickly and did a fantastic job.

We recently got our courtyard/patio landscape done by Cutters Edge, we explained to them what we wanted and they completely exceeded our expectations! Every crew member was polite, professional and on time! They even cleaned up our entire patio and walk way after! The Astro turf was laid properly, and they installed photocell floor lighting. The bougainvillea planted were healthy & beautiful. They were very informative with how to care for all the plants, turf and rocks for the future. We are so happy with the new design!
Overall it was a quick and pleasant experience, we loved the way it came out. They removed everything that we had there already, and they laid down the turf, lights and the new bougainvilleas in less than a day! We were incredibly impressed. Extremely happy with our new design, and would recommend them to anyone! Looking forward to using them for future projects! Great work guys!

05/14/2025 - This is a revised review of my previous 5-star review, written right after the beginning of their first service in March 2023.

Well, what a change... As most of us know, it takes time to know someone or, in this case, a business. BE FOREWARNED!! Cutters Edge will tell you what you want and need to hear so you sign their VERY BINDING CONTRACT. Make sure you READ THEIR CONTRACT VERY VERY CAREFULLY and ask them to make the changes you need. If they refuse the changes and instead come up with a verbal way out of the clause, don’t sign the contract and hire someone else. In fact, HIRE SOMEONE ELSE, period! Hiring them will not be worth your aggravation and disgust. Any other company you hire will be better and less expensive than Cutter’s Edge. They will TRAP YOU in for at least 3 years and you won’t be able to terminate their service EVEN IF YOU’RE NOT SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICES... You should see our community... The grounds look absolutely terrible.

Also, BE FOREWARNED about signing up for their IRRIGATION SERVICE. They will bill you in excess of $300 to $400 per month extra for sprinkler heads and broken pipes that their workers themselves break. Never before did our Board and community have this type of problem with previous irrigation services. Also, besides billing you for numerous and constant sprinkler repairs, they charge you a monthly fee for “disposing” the “broken” parts, which they never show to you. I should mention that our small community has two dumpsters where they could easily dispose of the “broken parts” but they, instead, take the broken parts with them and bill you for their disposal. We’ve complained numerous times about this, from the beginning, to no avail.

I could go on and on telling you the problems we’ve had and continue having with this company. Instead, I will just post some BEFORE & AFTER pictures and will say that we, at Windsong at Boca Del Mar, couldn’t be more DISSATISFIED with Cutter’s Edge and can't wait to get rid of them; Yet, they WILL NOT let us out of the contract before the 3 years are up unless we pay them $30,000.

DON’T FALL FOR IT! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND SAVE YOURSELF LOTS OF MONEY AND DISSATISFACTION! HIRE SOMEONE ELSE!

As it is customary to them, they might respond to this review defending their position, stating a bunch of non-truths, and affirming that nothing is their fault. THEY LIE, DENY ANY WRONG DOING, and NEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for their customer’s legitimate complaints even when you show them photos and videos of their workers doing the very thing they are denying and that you are complaining about. They will DENY any and all culpability, coming up instead with something like “We’ve inquired with our workers and have found that no one in our crew has done this”. Their MODUS OPERANDI is reversed from what it should be; To them, the customer is always wrong!!

I will finish my evaluation by telling about my own very recent personal experience: I have a couple of trees in my front yard where I have many orchids and ferns. Every year the orchids bloom beautifully. Last year, when the flowers were in full bloom, someone from Cutter’s Edge CHOPPED UP all the flowers and the ferns around my trees. I cried when I saw it. It took over one year for the plants and orchids to grow back but they did. Now, the orchids were again in bloom (see pictures); However, two weeks ago they were there doing their job and when I got home from work, I was in complete disbelief to find that my orchids and ferns had been CHOPPED UP AGAIN! Tell me, what landscaper does that?????

I reached out, by email, to David, the crew supervisor, telling him about it and sending him before and after pictures. Until today, I have not heard back from anyone. My neighbor reported that she had planted some flowers by her unit and they were uprooted on the same day they chopped off my flowers. It’s just INCREDIBLE!! Below you can also see before and after pictures of my orchids and also what our community's grounds currently looks like.

It was sad to see the coconut trees go. Cutter’s Edge’s skilled personnel removed them and replaced them seamlessly with beautiful Crepe Myrtle trees. Thank you Mike Cihal for your guidance throughout the process, and your team led by Ronel for a well-executed job.

My son recently completed a Boy Scout of America Eagle Project in Davie, Florida and Cutters Edge generously donated plants to help him complete the project.

Their willingness to donate their time and resources to a local community project is a testament to their commitment to serving the community. They truly care about making a positive impact and are dedicated to helping others.

Not only was the donation greatly appreciated, but the plants themselves were of excellent quality and added a beautiful touch to the project. Many Monarchs Butterfly have been attracted to the plants and populating. This way Cutters Edge is helping the Environment with providing the pollinators thriving quality of plants. It is clear that Cutters Edge takes pride in their work and strives to deliver exceptional service and quality products.

The service at CuttersEdge was excellent. Ronel is extremely knowledgeable and provided great support throughout the process. I truly appreciated his help and professionalism. I would definitely use their services again.

HOA recommended them because they were in the neighborhood doing some work. So I tried. Excellent communication. Made an appointment just a few days out, arrived and completed the work when they said they would. Fair price and great service. Reliable. 5/5 stars I will use them again for sure. I used them for (tall) palm tree trimming and they were absolutely fantastic.
