Constraction reviews in Ellenton, Florida

Nova Construction and Roofing is a terrific company. Brigette was great to work with, she explained everything in detail. The estimate we received was fair. The roofing crew arrived early and completed the job quickly. They were neat and cleaned up everything. We would hire them again. Thank you.

My roof to roof connection was sealed the entire length of the carport and lanai. Matt went above and beyond to complete the project and his efforts to highly satisfy this customer are reflected in the quality finish of his work. THANX Matt..... Job VERY WELL done!

Travis Carter replaced our roof for us. Travis is a very hard worker and does a great job. The crew that work with him are very hard workers and know what they are doing. Our carport was replace by Akin, Chris and Arnodo. They also did great job. Thank you to all of these guys. We will be telling all of our Family and Friends about you.

I add four contracted jobs with them. The first 3 went great. Did everything that they were contacted to do. One small mistake on the third job but it was corrected.
The fourth job was a nightmare! Tried telling me repeatedly that job was done when it wasn’t. I hope that manager was getting untrue info from workers! Although I am not convinced.
The work was good, I would not pay them in full until you verify everything is done.

I had a discussion with the manager of this company after my review was posted. He seemed genuinely interested in the problems l had and was apologetic for what had happened. He assured me that changes were being made so what I experienced would not happen again. I found him to be sincere and trustworthy.

I normally don't write reviews, but I had to make an exception! After a 2 year fight with my insurance company, I was finally able to replace my roof. After doing some research I called out Nova Construction because they were in my area. After meeting Tom and Bridgette I immediately felt extremely comfortable with them and decided to hire their company. Bridgette went above and beyond in helping with style, color choices pricing etc. We set a date and in a day they had my old shingles off and a brand new roof on! I was blown away how fast they were able to get my 2 story done! Little did i know that 2 weeks later Hurricane Milton would arrive. I walked out the following morning and saw shingles everywhere. I thought my new roof was destroyed! I got up on the roof and to my surprise, I was not missing a single shingle! Unfortunately the neighbors on either side of me were not so lucky. I couldn't believe how blessed I was; and what an amazing job Nova Construction did! My new roof made it through a hurricane unscathed! I must say if you ever need and sort of roof work done, please consider Nova Construction! You won't be disappointed! Thank you so much again for my incredible new roof!

This has to be the absolute best company I have ever dealt with. The works was way better than expected and everyone was helpful and friendly. I recommend any one who ask me to them and I always will

Hurricane Milton damaged our carport and Lanai. My husband always gets three estimates and usually picks the middle estimate, especially when there is an estimate considerably lower, we believe you get what you pay for. We decided on Nova Construction and we got what we paid for, a quality job. Matt came to our home, with a ladder, one of the Contractors that came asked if he could use our neighbors ladder, we received the quote in a few days and decided on Nova. Due to the shortage of materials it took a little while to complete the work but Josh keep us updated as to when we would have our repair done. Our repairs have been completed and we are please with the job. The employees were professional and at the end of each day cleaned up the work area. The end bill was right on the quoted price. We recommend Nova Construction for your next project.
Thank You, Josh

I am extremely pleased with my experience with Nova Construction after Hurricane Milton. Each step of the way and with each person I dealt with I received friendly and professional treatment. Great people to deal with in my hour of need. Pricing was fair and communication extraordinary.

NOVA had to start and finish a carport that another contractor abandoned. It was so hot but they showed up, were efficient and did a great job. Would definitely recommend them. They followed building codes and did all appropriate paperwork. Great job.

Lost our lanai and carport to hurricane Milton. Being a snowbird i was uncertain who to turn to for our rebuild. After getting quotes we selected Nova based on reviews and talking to other people.
We established a line of communication with Josh that worked throughout the project. The two builders from Nova, Billy and Steve were very knowledgeable and Did an excellent job on the entire build. I would recommend those two gentlemen for your Nova build.
The material that Nova used were of excellent quality and met our approval. In the end I would use Nova again for a project.

I had some minor hurricane damage to the roof of my manufactured homes workshop and also wanted my garage roof insulated. Nova came and did the estimate and managed to get the repair materials in a reasonable amount of time for a post-hurricane situation. The actual repair work was then done in a timely and professional manner. I can highly recommend this company.

We couldn't be happier with the quality and service that Nova Construction did for the demo and reconstruction of our front porch, it's beautiful! Can't wait for it to cool off and watch the sun setting from our lovely screened porch.
The workers very thoughtful and cleaned up everyday day before the left.
Thanks fellas.

Great customer service. Used them for flood panels. Efficient, reliable, and would use them in other projects.

Milton did a number on my house. Nova helped bring it back from the dead.

Everyone at Nova was great. It is a family business that treats their customers like family members. Thank you Tom, Matt, Travis, Bridget, Andrew, Lenny and everyone. No upselling. No pushiness. Honest and dependable. My insurance company also said that Tom at Nova easy to work with. You really can’t ask for a better experience.

After the two hurricanes in 2025, Tom was extremely helpful in getting our roof repaired and bathroom ceiling fixed (mold mitigation and insulation/drywall ceiling replacement) in a timely fashion and fair pricing.

It was a pleasure to work Nova Construction and Roofing as they replaced a carport and new Lanai area. The quality of their work was excellent. Also they keep me updated on the progress of the work which I greatly appreciated as the remodeling progressed.

I am extremely happy and proud to offer a 5 star rating to Nova Construction. They go beyond expectations regarding policy, promptness, quality repairs and value. Quality of materials is above board. I would not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone who requires the services they offer. I found all employees helpful, knowlegable,.friendly and polite. Thanks again Nova for working with me to accomplish a difficult situation.
