I had a great experience with Sturgis and Sturgis. They handled a structural modification on my rear lanai, removing a post and replacing it with an overhead structural beam, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish.

David personally came out to meet with me, which I really appreciated. He was professional, punctual, and very straightforward about the scope of work. Everything he said he was going to do, he did, no surprises, no delays.

The finished product turned out excellent and really opened up the space exactly how we envisioned. It’s not always easy to find contractors who follow through on their word, but Sturges and Sturges absolutely delivered. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing structural or construction work done right the first time.

A friend of my family referred me to this company. When I called, I was told the estimate would cost $350.00 and I would have the estimate in 30days. Against my better judgement I agreed. Needless to say I did not receive the appraisal in a timely fashion. After several weeks, the one page Word document was typed in haste-filled with typos. More importantly, I did not receive a call from anyone to discuss the estimate. The estimate experience was very unprofessional. Can’t imagine what the construction process would be like.

Purchased an older home and went to Sturges because of a referral. They were very professional and listened. We had planned ahead so they could get us on their schedule. The crew at CSI are amazing and very professional. We had an issue with structural cracks all through our slab and the builder kept putting us off. We had CSI come out and asses the issue. Within one week we had a full report on the issue, submitted it to the builder and within one more week the builder made a plan to completely replace the issues at hand. Great job CSI and thank you again!

CSI did our building envelope evaluation two years ago and identified widespread sealant failures and flashing deficiencies. They helped us scope the repairs and reviewed the contractor bids so we were not overpaying. Now they are overseeing the remediation work and reviewing every pay application before we release a dollar. It is like having an engineer in your corner who actually cares whether the work gets done right. Our project manager is on top of everything.
