I purchase my new A/C system from Action Cooling Heating over a year ago when the one that I had was about to fail. The installation went very well. They came when promised and the job took the amount of time they estimated. Since the installation, I have had 2 maintenance visits where the techs checked my system and cleaned what needed to be cleaned. I had on service call when I lost power to the thermostat. I tried what I could to resolve it and then broke down and called. It was user error in that the overflow valve got knocked by accident and this created a built in failsafe to the system. The tech came out adjusted it and blew out my water discharge and I was not charged for the call. I have only had great experiences with the company and the techs that have come out.

I've never written one of these reviews but I received some pretty good service and wanted to share. We've had some fairly warm weather lately but it hasn't reached the extreme highs that I know we're in store for this season. I was having some issues with my AC and called around for some ideas on what may be the problem. I have to admit they were one of the last based on some other reviews for me to call. After talking to someone a few minutes, I was told that it sounded like a small issue. When others were telling me it could be a big problem like a new unit. I scheduled them to come out which they did. Would you believe I had a capacitor problem? Not sure what that actually is but they explained it all to me and even offered to install something to help with the compressor starting up. I took them up on it and now it seems like I hear it wind up faster and less effortlessly than it did. They cost me a fraction of what other companies were projecting over the phone without coming out. Their price was reasonable and saved me alot of money. A few hundred instead of a few thousand. The tech said my unit was just fine and will probably last for years to come that I did NOT need a new unit like these other companies were trying to sell me before even coming out to look at my problem. They've made a customer out of me. I WILL be back for my future needs.

We are currently shopping for a new AC and duct work in our home and Chase visited our home to give us a quote. He was efficient, professional and answered all of our questions. We appreciate his knowledge and that he did not try to oversell us on anything we didn’t need, which is hard to come by these days. Great service and experience!

Eddie was our main technician and I honestly cannot say enough about his professionalism, attention to detail, kindness, and determination. His son also works there (sorry I forgot your name) and he came out to do the duct cleaning and was every bit the man his father is. They had a big job here, we had toxic mold in our AC system and duct work and had to remove the whole system, the closet it was housed in, and repair and install it all back in. There were so many timing delays, product availability issues, and we had to work with other contractors to do remediation and rebuilding at the same time Action was doing the AC. It was a lot to say the least. Eddie was able to find parts last second on multiple occasions and installed the system with a detailed hand. The best part is that Eddie heard we had to move into the house because our lease was up and we (and our two dogs) would be without AC, so he showed up the next day and stayed until the whole thing was done. He was there for 8+ hours and never once complained. He wouldn't even let me buy him drinks or food to try and repay some of his kindness. Long story short, not sure about the rest of Action Cooling and Heating but Eddie and his son are rockstars and we would follow them anywhere!

My mother made an emergency call to deal with an AC leak. Action called back within 15 minutes and sent a technician out immediately. Rich was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. We really appreciate the level of service and customer service.

It is an absolute pleasure to recommend Action Cooling and Heating to anyone who might be considering the installation of a new A/C. Recently moved into this house and knew that the A/C was on "it's last legs". David met with me and was professional, knowledgeable and upfront about the numerous issues with the existing unit. I decided on a new unit and the appointment for installation was schedule immediately. For 3 days, I watched these guys work and did they ever work! There was no clock watching; they answered all of my questions and obviously took great pride in every detail. It's easy to tell that, not only do they enjoy what they are doing, but also that they enjoy the company they work for. I had a technician (Chase) come out to my condominium today to check my system. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. I asked about compatibility for the wiring for my new nest thermostat that I just bought and wanted to install. Not only did he check to make sure everything was compatible but then guided me through the installation. Without his expertise it would have taken me three times as long to complete.

Nick did a great job of coordinating my repair, service and treatments needed. He fully explained, responded, and clearly communicated my needs and why.

I’ve been with Action H/C for about 20 years and they are a straightforward and high quality/integrity organization.

I had my ac unit serviced for the first time the other week and the serviceman, Chase, did a phenomenal job! He was both transparent and very helpful. I felt like the job was getting done right and there were no fancy gimmicks. He was also open to answering whatever questions I threw at him. Highly recommend.

Even though we had a home warranty program with another company, we had Action's preventive maintenance & repair services to keep our old ac working. When it finally gave out in 95 degree Florida weather, & the warranty company didn't come through, I called Action & they had a new system in place in less than 24 hours. We also used their duct cleaning service & have a much cleaner home. We highly recommend this company.

I had an emergency call on a Sunday to which they responded in just over an hour. It required new equipment; they got the new equipment in the next day and installed it. There was an issue in that during removal, the old equipment removal resulted in dirt to be ground into the stairs. When I called to tell them, they immediately told me to have it cleaned and they will pay for it. There was never any question; they owned that issue. I would highly recommend these guys. Great service, great value.

Action Cooling and Heating providing an extended warranty on an ac of a new condo we recently purchased for my mom...and throughout the last few months we have used them to maintain the unit and provide service as needed. Over all they have been prompt, responsive and even righted some wrongs a long the way. Where they have shined is their loyalty to customer service, and their efforts to prove their customers actually matter. Colleen, Jamie, Mark and their owner - are truly good people with a reputable AC and Heating company.

This place was wonderful from beginning to end. The front desk lady was very polite and professional. When Zach arrived at my house (15 minutes early YES) he took his time to look things over and helped me easily and swiftly with my AC when other companies couldn’t! I can’t speak highly enough of Zach, this company, and this team.

Service Quality and Techs: Chase and Matt.

-Having installed a new unit, by this company's recommendation, two years ago, we have had several service calls, and these two techs were extremely professional and patient when explaining their diagnostics and needed repairs on our new system.

Knowing that this company's techs are professional, like Matt and Chase reassures us while they are here, that we are being looked after as a VIP customer with a Preventive Maintenance active agreement in place.

I hope they are recognized for their outstanding customer service, that is lacking at most companies these days. We want to thank them.

I have to give credit where credit is due. In these days where it is increasingly rare for an individual, let alone a business, to take ownership of a mistake and make things right, it is refreshing when It does happen. I have been a customer of Action Heating and Cooling since we moved here in 2017. We went with them at the time because they had a Military Appreciation service contract offer. I have never regretted the choice, and appreciate them even more today.
Our old unit expired in 2019 and we had a complete new system installed by Action along with some major duct work. Subsequently they installed new systems in my mother’s house and a residence that I watch for a SnowBird neighbor. And many more of my neighbors now have their service contracts with them based on our experience.
My new system had continual problems with water not draining while the other two have worked flawlessly. Over time r heir technicians tried a variety of solutions and it never resolved. This past weekend the system flooded and shut down at the float switch. A technician came out and found that the insulation in the air handler had become saturated and blocked the drain line. The original estimate was $480 to adjust the drain and replace the compromised insulation. I wasn’t happy but scheduled the work.
The technicians got started this morning and immediately recognized that the water draining problem was a result of an installation mistake. The Service Manager came out and had a look and he too acknowledged the problem and accepted responsibility. They are now making it right and essentially reconditioning the system at no cost. My hat is off to Action for their actions. I highly recommend them for your new system and maintenance needs.

Zach was very professional, clean cut and punctual. He is very knowledgeable and knows what he does. They have affordable rates compared to another company I was using for maintenance services. I will definitely recommend them.

Chase is a wonderful technician. He came out and gave me multiple options on how to get my air running again with prices ranging from $850- a new unit. After weighing my options, I decided to replace my unit. They were able to install it the same day. They were able to finance the unit for 18 months with no interest, which gives me some time to pay off the unit. I am looking forward to working with them in the future.

In our opinion, the most honest and professional company in Cape Coral. We experienced a problem with our A/C leaking. Called multiple companies, which quoted extremely high fees to diagnose and/or (unnecessarily) replace our entire A/C system. Zach and Kyle diagnosed the issue (even triple checking our system) and gave us a realistic assessment of the problem without overcharging, upselling, or engaging in salesmanship. Out of 5-7 companies we engaged with, the only one that truly worked to help us identify and solve our issue. Also the only company aware of a recent change in Florida law allowing subsequent owners to enjoy the benefits of AC warranties.

Our mobile home flooded twice in two weeks and our air ducting under the house was soaked. Action gave us a very good price then went above and beyond to be sure the job was done right. Thank you Omar..

I called Action because my mom’s hvac unit wasn’t working properly and Steve came to her property right away. Steve was super efficient on diagnosing the problem and fixing it same day! He went above and beyond to make sure my mom was taken care of!

Their service man Stephen was Very professional, knowledgeable and extremely nice, he definitely knows his business ,I would highly recommend action cooling and heating!
