Shawn Sullivan, the owner of Davie Tree Service, is a really stand out human being!
My elderly mother had hired Trees Trees Trees by Rick when they drove by her house soliciting work. They promised to cut down, haul away, and grind the stump of a huge old Sappadilla tree in her backyard. They did half the job and left with their money in hand, telling Mom their saw broke and they would return to take down the trunk and grind the stump into mulch. When they never returned or responded to repeated calls, I called Davie Tree Service. Shawn and his crew showed up on time, did an awesome job, and even ground up a few more stumps in the yard for an excellent price! The crew was polite, quick, and really worked hard! In record time we had enough mulch to spread all through Mom's garden beds! They had all the right tools and knew how to use them. Something not all tree services have on hand. One way Shawn keeps prices down is by owning, not renting, his equipment.
When he says he'll do the job for the best price you can believe him and trust him to be fast, neat, and safe. I will call upon Davie Tree Service again and will recommend him to all my friends and neighbors. He also won my dear mother's heart when he told her sweetly, "Remember Mrs. Love I won't take your money until I've finished the work to your satisfaction." Thank you Shawn for restoring her faith in tree trimmers again! In my mother's time a man's word was his bond. You are a man of your word.

Although getting the work scheduled was a bit challenging, Sean was responsive and quick with a very competitive quote as I shopped out many companies. He even provided a quote based on photos I sent to him. According to my wife, the guys that came to the house were very polite and helpful. We would use them again in the future.

I called Davie Tree Service for a quote to cut down a tree, i had hanging over my house. I am on a fixed income and couldn't afford the quotes i got for his other competitors. Shawn Sullivan came out to our my home and gave me a free quote. When i explained my situation, he came down on his price to fit my needs. Him and his crew did a fantastic job and alleviated my stress of what could have been devastating for my home, if we were to get a bad storm. I will gladly recommend him to my friend and family.

I contacted Davie Tree Service to get a free estimate on removal of three large trees on my property. They came within the next day to give me the estimate and had me on the schedule to get the job done within the same week. They were always on time and always eager to answer my questions and keep me updated with the progress of the job. They were able to complete the work within 3 days which is insane because of how big the trees were. Very good quality work and customer service. Definitely recommend this company.

Davie Tree Service comes highly recommended! Shawn Sullivan the owner was great he made sure I had exceptional service from start to finish. He came by and gave us a reasonable estimate and began working the next day.They showed up on time and were all professional, efficient, friendly and thorough with their work. After being on the job for several hours, clearing bushes, trimming and thinning of some pretty big trees and removal of trees they exceeded my expectations. The tree climber Mike was very polite to take me on a walk-through when the work was done to explain exactly what they had done. My yard was cleaned up upon completion of the job and
completed all of the work they promised to do in a timely manner.

He's very helpful, he values the quality of his work, and always leaves a job looking better then when her first got there. Finally a company you can get your moneys worth.

I had used Davie Tree Service again for another one of my properties I had him come out and quote 4 palm tree removals his crew came out the next day, removed all the trees with in a few hours. They were very professional, when they were finish the trees were gone and it had looked like they were never here they cleaned up so well.

I am a real estate broker and property manager with 27 years experience in construction and real estate. Shawn has been trimming and removing trees from me for years. He does excellent work and at an excellent price. He has done some massive jobs for me and some very small jobs and never had an issue. Anytime I have ever asked him to go back to double check something, he has done it without any argument and gets it taken care of immediately. He has never been rude to me or raised his voice. He has been doing tree removal since he was a kid for the original owners of this company and bought them out many, many years ago. His crew is always very polite and go the extra mile when asked to do something specific. When doing work at my personal properties, they always knock on the door when finished and have me walk through the property to be sure everything was done, as I live on large acreage. I have read through some of these other negative reviews and can say I have never had any of these issues and have had tons of work done over the years. I should probably add, I deal with vendors and contractors everyday managing a large property management portfolio and I am "known" to be very picky and particular about how I like things done per my vendors and contractors and still can not complain about the work done by Davie Tree. I would recommend them 100%!

Called for a quote and Shawn the owner came to our home later that afternoon. He looked over the trees and our property then explained what would need to be done. We were on the schedule within a few days. The crew showed up on time, they were polite, professional and pleasant. They were careful as they worked as a team. The guys took turns gathering branches to go right into the chipper and at removing the tree stump. They worked as it started pouring rain. The job was completed in a timely manner. They clearned up and raked up any loose limbs. Reasonably priced. We definitely give HIGH RECOMMENDATION.

I had Davie Tree Service come out last week. They cut down 3 trees for us. One of them was HUGE. I got an AWESOME price. That did such a great job. The crew was so nice & helpful. They cleared everything out very fast. I have 1 more tree to take down next year & I will definitely be using them again!!!!!!

We hired Davie Tree Service to remove 13 oaks from our community and they came when they were scheduled. They were very pleasant to work with and went out of their way to make everyone in the community happy. I would highly recommend them.

I've been using Davie Tree service for over 10 years now. When I first called 6 tree services for estimate, Shawn was the only one that called back the same day. In fact only one other called back a week later. By then Davie Tree had given me a great price and completed the job already. Shawn always keeps in contact to let you know what's going on each and everytime I used them. I've had several trees removed over the years and trimmed. His crew is professional and always does a great job.

I've used Davie Tree Service for the past six or seven years and have always found them to be reasonably priced, extremely responsive and professional. In general, I've recognized the same crew over the years with maybe a couple of changes. They became my heroes after Irma when I was finally able to get through, they put me at the top of their list when they found out a tree fell on our garage. They knew I had been a good customer all those years and made my job a priority. The tree was removed Tuesday morning after Sunday's storm. (I reached them Monday late afternoon) They take on hard jobs and work with your schedule to get the job done. I highly recommend them.

We’ve been looking for a reliable tree service to trim our 2 huge laurel oaks and 5 foxtail palms. Shawn Sullivan and Davie Tree Service came highly recommended. I called for an estimate and was surprised at how quickly Shawn responded. He came over this morning to give us an estimate, and because the week before Christmas tends to be a slower time, his crew arrived less than an hour later. The team had all the equipment to work on our trees in a safe manner. Very professional and in no time the trees were all trimmed and look great. All the debris was cleaned up. I highly recommend Shawn and his crew from Davie Tree Service.
