Tree reviews in Gibsonton, Florida

This is the BEST tree service in the area! Communicated well, punctual, and did a fantastic job with all of our palms and giant oak tree. A real professional.

Huge thanks to Shawn and his crew for outstanding work. Not only did they do an awesome job with the tree trimming and clean up but Shawn made sure to communicate with me every step of the way. Really great service at a very reasonable cost. 5 stars isn't enough. I highly recommend McDuffie Tree Service to everyone and will definitely keep them in my contact list for any future work.

What a pillar to the term community. Folks are still dealing with damage from Hurricane Milton around here and this company's phenomenal performance and should be prominent amongst the whispers of locals.

Our backyard was in shambles after hurricane Milton. Shawn responded promptly to my call and came out to our home to assess the damage. He provided an honest service quote and added us to his work schedule. They ended up removing seven large tree stumps with modern equipment ensuring our property was left in a better state than when they arrived.

Shawn and his crew are true professionals with attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. We couldn’t be more satisfied with their results and highly recommend McDuffie Tree Service for your tree service needs!

Shawn McDuffie is prompt and professional. Excellent work, neat and clean. I am happy I hired them to remove a nuisance tree.

Shawn and his team did exactly what my husband and I asked and his work quality was excellent. He also had very good pricing, when everyone else was price gauging. Additionally, we had great communication throughout the process. He was punctual, professional and clean.

I hired McDuffie's to remove two tall palms that had to be removed carefully due to the location. They did an excellent job, great cleanup afterwards and affordable. Very pleased.

I had a big oak tree trimmed back from my house, and these guys did a great job. They showed up on time and got right to work. They handled everything safely and cleaned up really well after. The tree looks great, and I’ve got way more clearance around the house now. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone needing tree work.

Shawn and his team did an outstanding job with our palm tree cutting and landscape cleanup!

From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and efficient. Shawn was punctual, knowledgeable, and clearly takes pride in his work. He trimmed our overgrown palms perfectly — they look healthy, clean, and beautiful now. He also made sure everything was cleaned up afterward, leaving the yard spotless.

Highly recommend his services to anyone looking for quality landscaping or tree trimming. Thanks again, Shawn!

Shawn was a lifesaver! A large branch was dangerously close to falling on my roof, and within 24 hours of contacting him, he had it safely removed. He was professional, kind, prompt, and offered a great price. I'm so grateful- He truly saved my house.
Highly recommend! Call Him!

Shawn from McDuffie’s Tree Service did AMAZING work! We could not have asked for a better outcome! We had 2 palm trees that are rather high that needed trimmed of their dead branches. We found Shawn’s company through a neighbor and we are forever grateful that he came so highly recommended. He was professional, knowledgeable and kind. He was able to get our trees trimmed in a timely manner and quickly cleaned up the dead stuff and hauled it away. We will always recommend him and his company! Great job and thank you so much again!

Shawn’s work is excellent from start to finish! He’s knowledgeable, professional, and respectful. And pricing is always fair. Highly recommend McDuffie tree services, will continue to use in the future.

I recently called McDuffie's Tree Service for tree trimming. The experience was positive, and the work was done quickly and efficiently, offering excellent service at an affordable price. I highly recommend this company.

McDuffie Tree service beautifully trimmed my palms making them ready for hurricane season. They were easy to schedule and very professional.

Shawn was professional and did a great job. He communicated well via text as to when he would at my house to do the job and was on time. I will definitely have him do some additional work for me in the future.

My neighbor & I passed Shawn working on another neighbor’s trees, and he was willing to do both of our front palms on the spot. Fast, clean, safe. Cleaned all debris. I’ll be calling him back for my backyard palms, for sure. Thank you!

We called this company for an estimate to take up our roots on a huge tree & to trim it.

He came out & gave his honest professional advice. Showed us in detail what needed to be done. They came out & did a wonderful job & we were very pleased with the outcome.

Happened to bump into this gentleman while he was working another job and asked if he could swing by and give me a quote. Not only did he give me a fair and reasonable price, but to my surprise, he showed up Thursday morning at 8 AM on the dot — just like he said he would. In Florida, showing up four hours late is often considered "on time," so his punctuality alone impressed me. He came prepared, got right to work, and delivered exactly what was promised. Professional, dependable, and honest — I highly recommend this tree service!

Highly recommend Shawn and his assistant who came to finish taking out a tree that was just in the wrong spot. Shawn was responsive from our first message and informed us when he’d arrive for both the estimate and the job. They were both polite, personable, respectful of us and our property and hard working. They had to remove a section of our fence to have room for the equipment and they put it back together like it had never been touched! Will have them back for some tree trimming in the future!

I needed stump grinding and a new tree planted. I contacted Mr. McDuffie and he was quick with his response, pricing, and service. He did everything he said he was going to and did it when he said he was going to do it. He was quick and courteous. I told him what kind of replacement tree I was looking for and he came back with several options that I could choose from. Any changes that needed to be made were promptly communicated, he of course made sure to check for any nearby irrigation before begiining the project and he gave me a fair price. There were no issues whatsoever. I would definitely use his business again in the future.

We had a great experience with Shawn and his crew. They were professional, attentive, and took the time to understand exactly what we needed. The work was done efficiently and to our expectations. The pricing was fair and reflected the quality and care they put into the job — we really appreciated the value they provided. Highly recommend!
