Reviews of local pros in Goldenrod, Florida

Oscar and his crew have done some fantastic tree work for me on several jobs over the past year. The first time I hired them, they blew me away—not only did they cut down a tree that was hanging over a property I manage, but Oscar also went above and beyond by trimming all the small branches that were either touching the roof or would be in the near future, without me even asking!

His professionalism and great personality really stand out. I can't recommend Oscar and his crew enough! If you want the job done right the first time with minimal supervision, hire Oscar's Tree Service—you won't be disappointed!

Excellent service from beginning to end! Great communication, fair price, safe, and very clean! They removed an old 80-foot live oak tree. They showed up on time, very professional. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone!

Excellent Job. They removed two 27 years old big Trees in 6 hours. Great professionalism, safety oriented and very well organized. I would recommend Oscar Tree Services to all my family members, neighbors and my friends.

We had an amazing experience with Oscar Tree Services! They removed shrubs and trees and planted bamboo for us, all in a single day. The team was punctual, professional, and incredibly skilled. You can tell they take pride in their work. This is absolutely the company you want to hire when you need quality work done.

We had a large oak tree that needed trimming and we contacted Oscar Tree Services after seeing them in the mail flier. They were reasonably priced and completed the job quickly leaving almost no debris afterwards. Would recommend.

I recently had Oscar Tree Service remove three trees on my property that were starting to rot and lean towards our neighbor’s house. Oscar and his team did a great job and I was really impressed with their work. They were quick to respond and even quicker in getting the job done.

What stood out to me was how carefully they handled the removal of the trees. Despite the challenging situation, they managed to do it without causing any damage to either our or our neighbor’s property. Plus, they left the place really clean after grinding the stumps, which was a relief.

Another thing I appreciated was their pricing. It was very affordable, and considering the great quality of their service, I felt like I got a great deal.

I highly recommend Oscar Tree Service. They’re professional, efficient, and really know what they’re doing. They have great customer service and are very knowledgeable. If you’re in need of tree removal, these are definitely the guys to call.

UPDATE Feb 11, 2026 - Called upon Oscar again, this time for a very tough job: We have six big stands of bamboo around our yard. They've been there for 25 years or so and gradually increased in size. I asked Oscar to cut them back so they'd be about 50% of their present diameter, as well as -- somehow -- take out all the dead culms. (There were many, amidst the tightly packed stands.) Finally, they'd need to stump-grind the large areas around the remaining stands where they cut off the bamboo culms. He gave me a very reasonable price for the job, which took his crew two very long days. When the bamboo dust settled, his crew had done exactly what we asked and what was promised, and cleaned up completely (including hauling away a TON of bamboo sawdust). See the before & after photos of the biggest of six stands. These guys always come through for us! -- doug

Several months after I wrote the review just below, I had these guys come back today for a bigger job -- trimming big live oak trees around our home, prior to hurricane season. The price Oscar h ad quoted seemed reasonable, but even more so after his four-man crew spent all day, from 8 am to 4:30 pm on the job. These guys are great (though I wish my espagnol were better) and made sure to trim what branches I wanted cut and where. Ultimately they did a great job and as before, made sure to clean up completely, leaving no trimming or sawdust behind around our house or on the driveway or street. I'll certainly hire Oscar again when I need tree service.

Their price was notably reasonable for removing a tall starfruit tree from our front yard. They did it efficiently and completely, including complete cleanup, even of stump grinding debris, as promised.

The team finished their business in less than 90 minutes. Tree trim on a 45 ft privacy line that I had neglected. They transformed it. No debris or evidence they were ever there. I have never had the patio look so good
Used equipment to protect lawn
The entire environment has changed- sunlight. Birdlife and comments from neighbors
