I had a problem with my pool light. My son had worked with this company before, was pleased with them I got to meet Ricky, very nice, polite. He fixed the problem plus a few other things. Very happy with his work, will use again.

We were having well pump problems. After many calls with no results South Lake was on the spot. Came out with in 2 hours of our call. Found the problems and fixed them up for a reasonable price. We would highly recommend South Lake Electric to everyone.

South Lake Electric wired my new house with only a few issues. One issue was a wiring problem to the only light socket in the attic. When I noticed the light didn't work they came to fix it as it was within the 12 month warranty period. Unfortunately, I didn't use the light again until 2 months after the year warranty ran out and found it still wasn't working. Obviously it was originally wired improperly and then not really fixed with their warranty attempt. When I asked them to return to readdress their inadequate first attempt, they told me it was "out of warranty" and I would be charged $95 for a service call. Why would I spend more money with this company when they won't even stand behind their work?
I feel if they stood behind their work they would gladly come out and really fix the problem instead of avoiding the fact that they screwed up the installation of a simple light socket.

Worked with Don from South Lake Electric based on a protection plan I have with my Utility Company. Don called and communicated the process before scheduling the appointment with me, was on time with everything needed, and performed the repair promptly in a professional manner. Excellent service!

Kenny (Scooter) came to my home this week and fixed a generator in preparation for Hurricane Irma. Having no knowledge of generators at all, being a transplant from out of state, he was fantastic! He worked so hard to fix a long neglected and older unit, chatting and smiling at the challenge of solving the problem, when I'm sure others wouldn't have. He made sure I knew how and what to do if it's needed. The price was quite reasonable, considering the aforementioned neglect, and I will certainly call on this company again, recommending them highly! Thank you South Lake and Scooter for helping us!

I scheduled an in home appointment and after waiting for the 2 weeks to pass, on the day of the scheduled appointment, SLE called me at 11am to cancel my 1pm appointment! I had cancelled an out-of-town trip on that day, but cancelled it to have my electrical problem fixed!
The rep. said the electrician called off work, but they waited until 2 hours before arrival time, to notify me! They didn’t have anyone else to send, but offered to reschedule me again in 2 more weeks! This company does work thru the Duke Energy Company in Florida , under Duke’s repair contract! Poor planning, poor customer communication!

We called South Lake after getting scammed from an electrician who couldn’t find out electrical problem and they were very courteous on the phone and offered to help us out financially since we paid someone else for nothing. They showed on the schedule date and time and took care of the problem right away. I would highly recommend them for your electric needs! Thanks South Lake! Glad y’all are here!

Scooter did an excellent job. However, for a minor job South Lake sent 2 techs. which was unnecessary and overpriced. I contacted Joey, Supervisor South Electric, and queried the extra expense. His response was that Andy, the original tech who had done the Diagnostic visit several months ago had recommended 2 Techs. This recommendation was for an entirely different attic job requiring a dedicated line. Joey refused to disallow the extra charge which is very disappointing.

Ricky did a fantastic job, efficient, courteous and cleaned up after completing the job.
