My review of Florida Shield was initially positive when I posted 10 months ago. We thought they delivered us a very good product at a good price. We also thought their service was very good. We paid in full, and they asked us to make the review even though they had not finished all of the work for us. We happily agreed. BIG MISTAKE! The bathroom door they in stalled at our home leaks when it rains. They have been promising to come and fix the issue since its installation closer to a year ago. We also had them do the doors and the windows at our mother's condo. They installed the sliding doors backwards with the keys on the inside. They said they would resolve it. That took months. At the same location they installed the wrong impact entrance door. The door is not wind rated for its placement.
They kept telling us its coming, it didn't. Then they have to get out from the supplier. They didn't. For closer to a year they have kept saying they will put the right door. They haven't. It's been nothing but lies, no communication, and no shows when they say they are coming. The permit for the project is still open because we can't get a final inspection because the door is not correct. I resend any initial recommendation I made about this company. If you are dealing with Gabriel....DON'T. HE TALKS A GOOD GAME BUT DOESN'T COME THROUGH. UPDATING this review is just one of the steps in an pursuing along with contacting and complaining to the city, the county, the BBB, as well as talking with a lawyer to sue them. Save yourself and find another company to do what you need done. Don't trust these guys. The atrached video shows the door leaking.

UPDATE 04/07/2026 !!!!
IF ANY OF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT THESE GUYS, I WOULD LOOK ELSEWHERE....OUR ISSUES ARE STILL UNRESOLVED EVEN AFTER COUNTLESS ASSURANCES THAT THEY WERE COMING BY. THAT THE DOOR IS IN PROCESS..... AND NOTHING. LEGAL ACTION IS FORTHCOMING AND I'LL BE SURE TO POST ADDITIONAL UPDATES! SO, SO SAD IT HAS COME TO THIS.

excellent work 👏🏻 🙌🏻✨
