Constraction reviews in Indian Shores, Florida

2 years ago, we embarked on our journey to find the appropriate spot to build our dream home.

The first step in this journey was to find the ideal general contractor with the experience and ability to complete our once-in-a-lifetime event. After much research and several hours of discussions with many different contractors, we found Robert Lord and didn't look back.

Every conversation with Robert is an illustration of his passion for home construction as he explains the details of the tasks that lie ahead. From helping us select the right location, to aiding in home design, to dealing with the unknowns a custom build brings, Robert is indeed a master of his craft.

A famous quote comes to mind, "To whom much is given, much is expected." Robert knows what is expected of him and he takes that responsibility seriously each day and with every step. Trusting someone to build your home isn't easy. Giving Robert the huge responsibility to ensure your expectations are met WAS and CONITNUES TO BE easy.

It was a pleasure working with Rob. He is extremely knowledgeable about building quality custom homes in coastal regions. He does not cut corners and pays attention to every detail in his builds. Thanks again for everything!

Robert Lord from Lord General Contractors did outstanding work for me. His deep knowledge of local building requirements and permitting on the Pinellas County beaches was invaluable, as was his familiarity with trusted local subcontractors. He helped secure competitive bids and provided excellent guidance throughout the process.

Communication was a breeze—Robert was responsive, professional, and always kept me informed. His fees were fair, his billing was transparent, and he went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the results.

I’m thoroughly impressed with Robert’s work and wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again for future projects. Highly recommend!

I met Robert Lord almost 20 years ago while working for him as a Custom Cabinet Designer in Illinois. His passion, and desire for excellence was unmatched by anyone I had ever met before. Roberts attention to detail was incredible and infectious, he made you want to be better! I was fortunate and blessed to work with Robert in designing cabinetry for many of his houses, and I can honestly say that working with Robert made me into a better designer. What started out as a working relationship became a friendship that I value very much to this day. I can honestly say that Robert Lord is one of the best contractors I've ever come across and would recommend him to everyone and anyone.

In Illinois I was Honored to venture through the first official Green Home with a zero carbon foot print. Was invited to a News cast recording where I got to see a professional anchor News person walk through the house with Robert Lord.

I've always been impressed with the Top of the line quality products Mr. Lord uses to build his houses and buildings. I would definitely recommend his work and often do to those looking for the designer custom built work he and his contracting team does SOOO Well.

Robert Lord builds your house as if he were building his own. His attention to detail is unrivaled and his knowledge of products is unparalleled. During the building process we were in daily communication and Robert came up with ideas during our conversations that FAR SURPASSED my own. I have always believed that collaboration results in the best possible outcome, and this house is the perfect example of that. Every inch of this house was finished to the highest standards and highest quality. Each room has a breathtaking feature that elicits ooooohs and aaaahhhs from everyone who's seen them. Even the tradesmen who worked on this house are amazed by its beauty. Robert's tradesmen are definitely the best in the business and many times during this process made the impossible: possible. Everything in this house FAR SURPASSED my expectations (and trust me my expectations were high). You CANNOT go wrong choosing Lord General Contractors Corporation. I couldn't possible love my Robert Lord home more.

As a realtor who has worked with Robert Lord in a professional capacity I can say I am so impressed with Robert's knowledge of the building process. He is extremely smart, professional and patient. If I were to build a house I would definitely use him!
