Groutsmith Jacksonville

I thought my kitchen and bathrooms would have to be re-tiled until a friend recommended Groutsmith. The quoting process and the project termination was impeccable. Quinton left everything looking like new.

**Very disappointing **
Due to the high Google rating I called Groutsmith on Thu, 8/27/20 at 1:40pm, left a message about getting an estimate for some work. Instantly I received a text "Sorry, I'm on a call right now." I received a call back 2 hours later, explained my needs and was told the lead technician would call me to schedule the estimate, when I asked when I might expect to hear from the tech I was told if not that same afternoon then on Friday 8/28/20. I did not receive a call.
Mon, 8/31/20 I sent a text at 10:15am stating I had not heard back from the company and to advise me of the scheduling for the estimate. I didn't hear back.
Tue, 9/1/20 at 10:04am I called the company, explained the events just described and asked if the company was too busy to work with me as I would go with another company. I received no apology for lack of communication, was simply told the company didn't know why I didn't get a call but a text would be sent to the technician to call me. Shockingly I received a text message 10 minutes later stating the company was "unable to accommodate" my request for an estimate but thanked me for my interest in Groutsmith JAX. Wait, what? Yes, that is the level of professional courtesy I received from a company with a 4.8 Google review.
I mean no ill-will toward Groutsmith Jacksonville but it is hard for me to understand the Google rating . The company's Professional Standards as detailed on their website are significantly deficient based on my experience.

The kitchen floor looked new after they deep cleaned tile and sealed grout. The same process was used in the bathroom. It made an incredible difference since most of the walls were tile also. The bathtub was refinished and it turned out beautifully. It's like a new room.
