The Maids came in my home and did an INCREDIBLE job. They went above and beyond. This will definitely not be my last time using them. They were punctual, friendly, and clean like you wouldn't believe. Thank you!! I would recommend them to anyone!

I was a customer for over 9 years. Beginning last summer their cleaning was subpar. Bathroom floors , kitchen floors were not cleaned. They would take a small amount of money off each time.Finally we parted ways.
Recently I received a bill from them for November 2018 for a cleaning. As far as I knew after we parted In January or so we were up to date on payments.There was no calls from the management explaining the bill. ( apparently the mistake was on their part ...)Instead they sent the bill to a collection agency . When I called management and asked them to send me a bill so I can justify the payment it took days...( witch is fine) however I asked them to contact the collection agency to say we were working on the problem. They refused. A customer who has always paid her bills and given them so much business.
I did get the bill and now am checking with my credit card company to see if they were paid in November. I have called 3 times yesterday and the general manager Polly has not responded.
I would not recommend this company !!!!!

The Maids is a wonderful cleaning service with a staff who truly cares about their clients. I have raved to my friends about their attention to the smallest details. They are very fast but never careless, and they are friendly and extremely professional. I love working with Donna at the office to schedule my service...she goes above and beyond to ensure I have exactly what I need even when I need to change things at the last moment. Highly recommend!

I’ve been with this company for several years. They are reliant, and trustworthy. Willing to adjust to certain needs / changes if needed. Friendly and cooperative staff. Sometimes , things ( like areas of dusting ). Are overlooked but rectified when requested. Different crews sometimes miss the details , but are willing to return. I wish that not to happen. All in all I am satisfied with the service.

Very pleased with the final product! The team worked together like a well oiled machine.

HORRIBLE! Please take my advice and do NOT use this company. This is a true story from today, 3/6/2023. We asked to change our time window to after 2pm because of a dentist appointment. Jeff calls and states that was fine and we would be the last customer today after 2pm. When they didn't show by 3:15 I called and Jeff answered the phone and stated, and I quote - "they are in route right now." Well, it is now 5:30pm and no one has shown to clean our house. I even reiterated to Jeff how important today's cleaning was as we are going out of town Friday and I wanted the house to be nice for our house and dog sitter. The thing that upsets me the most is I didn't even get a courtesy call - they just no showed. That is no way to run ANY business. Needless to say I called, got voicemail and had to fire them on voice mail. They do not communicate - this wasn't the first time but this is the first time they rudely no showed on us. Complete lack of courtesy or customer care. Will be looking for another maid service that cares about their clients because "The Maids" obviously don't care at all.

They did a beautiful job. They managed to completely clean my bathtub from old hair dye and loose caulking, which I was delightfully surprised about! I was prepared to have to caulk over the stains they couldn't get out.

I think there was a little miscommunication because I requested just the Kitchen and Bathrooms done, and was told if they had extra time they would do dusting/vacuuming of the other rooms. They ended up going over time, AND did the carpets? But it looked amazing so I did not mind. It made it easier on me moving out.

And honestly I was in the shower when they called for approval so I missed their call and they went ahead with extending the time. I'm sure that didn't make things easy for Franklin and his wonderful team. I know I left it dirtier than I intended for them, but that's what happens when you're busy running around like a mad man, moving furniture out of a third floor apartment all day, and are just tired and ready to drive away with a full uhaul at midnight!!

I was so relieved when I came back to clean up whatever they didn't get done and found they made my life much easier. Thank you The Maids. Highly recommend.

Do not hire this company to clean your home. I have a small 1200 square foot home, and I hired them for a move out cleaning. I was told $207 for two hours, and this included walls, floors, baseboards, vacuuming, moping, fridge detailing, amongst much much more. When I went to check on the house after an hour and half of three employees cleaning, all that I could tell was done was one bathroom, and the refrigerator was being cleaned. I received a phone call 20 min later and was told it was going to be over $400 to finish. When I asked what had been done between three people and two hours, no one could tell me. They ended up leaving without finishing or doing what was promised. Baseboards, walls, floors, and more was not done. When I called I was told it was finished. Three days later after I left a voicemail, they still could not tell me what they did. They also admitted to not finishing, and still wanted to charge me $250+ for cleaning services they did not provide. If you want your home cleaned, and at an affordable price and also done correctly….. look elsewhere. You will not receive it here.

My housecleaning by The Maids was a birthday present. When they came in, there was dust everywhere! When they left, everything was sparkling clean! They were cheerful, professional, and worked hard. What a treat!

Once again we loved returning home to a sparkling clean house! Bertha and her Yellow team are careful and meticulous in cleaning our house. Thank you so much.

I really do not like to leave a negative review for a business but we were so deeply disappointed in not only the service we received, but the response to how unsatisfied we were that I want to inform others.

I’m extremely disappointed that there was no resolution or an interest in my satisfaction. I think the response that I could have paid more if I wanted them to stay longer and do a better job is not acceptable from a business owner. I don’t know why I would pay an additional $140 when 90% of the house they ‘completed’ was not satisfactory. Especially after I already paid $338 for 2.5 hours.

I would have appreciated an apology or at least an attempt at offering a solution. I was more than willing to come to a compromise that was fair for both of us but was instead met with contempt. I don’t think I was unreasonable and I know our house was not in disrepair, as was insinuated. (I hired a house cleaner because I’m already a clean freak after all.)

They also broke our marble threshold in the guest bathroom in two.

While I appreciate the offer to reimburse us for what was broken, I also did not so much as receive an apology for this either.

I semi-regularly have our house cleaned have never paid near as much as I did for The Maids so I was expecting to be blown away. Instead, it’s hard to tell anyone was here.

I would certainly not recommend their services.

I opted for the deep clean. The Maids did a great job for me. They were pleasant and easy to work with. Scheduling was easy and they showed up on time. Will call them again when I need a cleaning.

Zero Star rating is unfortunately not possible.

The Maids was recommended by my property management company so I used them. After their initial visit to our vacant home (for a move out clean) I read the reviews…too late!
The quote for a move out clean was $284-355 with 3 cleaning people and depending on the time. The clean took a little under 2 hours. I immediately received a text confirmation asking for a rating and then an invoice for $355.
Items NOT cleaned: ceiling fans, bathroom floors, laundry room floor as evident by gunk (dried up liquid laundry detergent), glass on kitchen nook pendent lighting and on foyer lighting (newly installed and still had styrofoam and small fibers of packing on them due to static), fire place mantle not wiped down, inside drawers not wiped out, front portion of fridge floor not swept, hinges of oven still had greasy gunk on them.
I took pics and videos of these items and emailed them to Jeff, the mgr. He asked me to write a list of all the items I’d like for them to come and clean again. He agreed to lower the bill. He agreed to have a Supervisor accompany the new crew.
They returned.
Items still not cleaned…the hall glass foyer light, inside the cabinets and drawer, bathroom floors, laundry room floor-still gunk (dried up liquid laundry detergent).
Unknown if they cleaned the ceiling fans as I’d practically cleaned them myself when I was verifying if THEY’D cleaned them initially.
Additionally, the fridge had been pulled out and we now have scratches on our hardwood floors at the front corners of our fridge.
I again took pics, videos and emailed them to Management. The response was a request for me to call and settle the acct. When we spoke there was no reference to the new evidence of items not being cleaned but rather the request for payment. I went back and forth with Jeff who said he’s very disappointed with his crew. I mentioned the Supervisor who was with them didn’t do any better. He agreed.
I expressed the amount of time I’d spent on scheduling/rescheduling the cleaning, taking pictures-twice, documenting with videos-twice, writing the list of things that didn’t get cleaned- twice, and speaking to him on the phone about what an awful job they’ve done-twice. His response was “but” he has to pay them. He reluctantly lowered the bill $50.
And now I’m spending more time writing this review to try and spare someone else from this company.

The entire experience was time consuming, disappointing, and exhausting.
This was a newly purchased vacant home that had been moved out of and was already relatively clean. And I still need to clean several items myself.

I’ve been using The Maids Housekeeping Service for many years and have always been satisfied with the quality of their cleaning. The housekeepers do a thorough job, and I appreciate their hard work.

However, my main concern is with scheduling and communication. Many times, the team does not arrive within the scheduled time window, which is three hours. I would really appreciate a quick phone call or text if they are running late or want to come earlier.

Most recently, they arrived three hours late, and when I asked the supervisor what happened, she blamed people from out of state. I feel there should be better communication between the office staff, the supervisor, and the cleaning team.

Overall, I’m happy with the cleaning itself, but improved communication and timeliness would make the service excellent.
