We went through a couple of terrible landscaping companies after our previous landscaper got out of the business. Today was our first lawn service with the Havana Jax crew and we are very pleased! Thanks to Jair and his crew.

Tried calling this company several times for the past two months and no one ever answers the phone.

Highly recommended. Very collaborative in developing design. High quality sub-contractors and very diligent in overseeing installation. Extremely focused on total client satisfaction

We now have our dream yard! We couldn't have done it without Cindy's creative input, professional design capabilities, and coordination of all the various vendors. Professional and friendly! We look forward to a long relationship!

Cindy and her team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We frequently have people stop as they walk by our front yard to compliment the beautiful landscaping. I highly recommend her work!

I worked with Cindy and her crew to put in a retaining wall and to relanscape most of my house. I was very budget conscious which Cindy copletely respected. The result is that my landscape is beautiful and i love it. It was great working with Cindy and certainly would hire her again if the need should arise.

Choosing a landscape designer is a challenge, particularly with areas of limited sun and salt water. I completed an exhaustive review of about 6 firms and chose Cindy Burns because of her easy to work style, innovative design ideas and overall great value. Who would have thought to build a bocce court lined with beautiful palm trees? My neighbors literally walked by each day to watch it all come together and remarked on the beautiful and thoughtful design.

Cindy and her team were awesome to work with on my project. Cindy is very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns and what we wanted out of the project. All of Cindy's sub-contractors were great to work with -- very friendly and respectful of us and our property. I wholeheartedly recommend Cindy if you want a job well done!

I thought i was getting a dump truck full of material. I didnt know what one scoop meant. 225 bucks i could have gone to a big box store and bought bagged stone and cover more than this

My mom and I stopped in to Liberty today looking for a very specific tree. We ended up with not one but TWO!! We are delighted! But mostly because of the STELLAR customer service we received from Sunshine, Mia, and Austin. Sunshine went above and beyond in customer service... helping us from the minute we walked in the door until we pulled out of the parking lot. We would also like to express gratitude to Mia for helping us check out and to Austin for helping us load our car! Keep up the great work, Liberty!! We will be back and very soon! A+++++ 🤩😊

Disappointed. I spent over $1500 on trees here. The trees were delivered in a box truck on their sides with some damage, broken limbs. I commented to the delivery people and the response was ….. not positive. When 2 of them started dying after only 1 weeks, I called liberty for help, was told to email 2 people as no one was available to speak to me and never heard back. Tried to call again got put on hold, after 15 minutes hung up. I won’t be going there again.

Wonderful experience today at the Liberty Lamdscape on San Jose. My knowledge of plants , flowers, fauna and whatnot is sub-novice…and my design instincts are not well honed.
I meet Dani. Immediately had fantastic suggestions, walked me around the place, gave recommendations and an education while also being cool & charming.
I buy plants - go home - my wife loves them and I go back to get more.
I re-meet Aaron. Amazing. Takes his time, walks around, makes great suggestions.
A genuinely nice and caring group of people. Well done, y’all.

For starters, I will say as a consumer, it is very confusing to be operating two completely different business entities out of the same location if they are operating entirely separate from one another. I called earlier in the day to the sod Company, no one answered. So I called the landscape company and they told me yeah we have plenty of sod. So I leave work and drive 30 MILES and 45min over there to purchase it only to find out that the sod company is the only one that can sell to me and their business hours are different than the landscape company and they’re already closed. The already bad situation was made infinitely worse by the complete and utter lack of customer service skills From the guy Working at the cash register. Just a thought, if you’re dealing with the public, maybe have a slightly better approach with people. And judging by the other negative reviews here on Google, it seems to be his track record. Just an awful experience start to finish.

This place is awesome! Everyone is helpful and friendly and their selection is broad from tiny succulents to enormous trees or mulch to boulders. The atmosphere is like your favorite go-to bar/pub or diner. Only problem with the place you can get carried away buying stuff.

Miss Morgan Hinson, went beyond in assisting me with my needs during my shopping experience at Liberty. I was able to find the items for my project and I really appreciate the time that Morgan provided me. I highly recommend Liberty for all your landscaping needs.

First time visiting. Nice staff and a lot of plants. Very nicely organized too. I thought the price was great too!

UPDATE: Liberty Landscape contacted us and came to test our soil. As of right now we were told they would be replacing the sod when the appropriate season comes, after winter/early spring. I will update again when that time comes. As of now I will say I greatly appreciate them doing this and am happy with how they are accommodating the situation.

HORRIBLE sod/horrible customer service. My husband purchased two pallets of shade resistant St Augustine sod in April/May 2021 ($600). The first pallet seemed to be doing okay after we laid it (on fresh new soil), but the second was already turning brown upon delivery to our home and infested with sod webworm and brown patch fungus. After we laid the sod (on fresh new soil) this second pallet within just 2 weeks continued to die further. We properly watered and maintained our sod after we laid it, but even then the sod still continued to die and even started killing the first pallet of sod we laid. We now have dead sod everywhere! We reached out to Liberty Landscapes to see what could be done and all they did was have us take pictures for someone who just looked at them and said it was webworms, but that they could do NOTHING. We even had a professional from a different company come to our home and diagnose the issue as brown patch fungus and sod webworms (they were not sent by Liberty Landscapes). Another professional we found from another company said that Liberty Landscapes has the WORST SOD and now we see why. Now we have COMPLETELY DEAD USELESS SOD that we have to rip up and replace! We did all of this so that our young daughter could have a nice backyard to play in and that was ruined by this company. This is just one picture of a part of my yard that has now dead sod. DO NOT get sod from this company.

Nice store, big selection. Everything looks pretty good. However, the way some of the employees interact with other employees seems very off putting. There is a guy up front, I don't recall his name but he has long hair and beard, seems aggressive towards women employees as well as customers. If you're not wanting to be nice, why are you up front or even employeed? I can tell some employees work very hard but seemed very stressed out. My female neighbor was also mentioning how she's loves shopping there, but also feels uncomfortable around that front counter guy. I don't know if they're short staffed, mismanaged or what, but no excuse for rudeness. I will say, the girl with the purple hair was very sweet when I walked in. I didn't buy anything yet, just getting ideas to help my grandparents redo their back porch. I'm big on customer service, reading reviews and checking places out for myself. Maybe some people were having a bad day, I don't know.

I was so pleased to find exactly what I needed - 8, 3 gallon podocarpus. Full and healthy. Thank you, Brett, for the golf cart ride to my vehicle and for wrapping the plants so I could safely take them inside my vehicle. I do appreciate good customer service.

Last week at 8am i went to the store location on San Jose Blvd. to pick up an order. The lady that took my payment was very accommodating.
The experience after went downhill fast. A woman with the name sunshine brought my order to the car, then proceeded on a tangent-complained over too many orders to fill, and people waiting. Interestingly, it was 8am with one person waiting.
I politely asked her to briefly look at the list in my hand to verify the correct type/amount of each plants -Meanwhile holding my phone and tailgate as it was loose and could fall down on her head. I was understanding and polite thinking she was having a bad morning.
Well, when i arrived home, placing the 23-$281.00 plants out of my car then checking my list noticed she made a mistake due to her rude hurried demeanor and complete disregard for me and the quality customer service i expected -brushing me off as if my expensive purchase was insignificant. I don’t think someone like this should be working/representing LL with customers who would like only to enjoy their experience and leave satisfied no matter the cost.

Miles was awesome! I showed him some photos of my planting area and he took the time to help me pick out some great plants. When we had a game plan devised, he helped me through checkout and loading too.
