Masonry Contractor reviews in Jacksonville, Florida

We contracted with Stonecore to tear up our existing patio and put pavers around the pool area. This was the last project for us as we are rebuilding after the storm. After we paid the first half down payment, $13,000. We had some initial issues, nobody showed up for awhile, they said they would come, but never did. Then the guy (mike) said he didnt want to finish the job because he didnt like us. Eventually they dropped several pallets of pavers and a grill in our yard and said they couldnt finish the job. No refund, no nothing, I tried to call the owner or manager 5 different times, no call back, the phone just rings. AVOID THESE PEOPLE AT ALL COST!

Wow! This place is great, seriously great! If you are planning any kind of outdoor project that's going to include any type of stone, this is the place to go. We already had designed out our outdoor project, but there are landscape designers there to help you if you desire that. We spoke with Travis about some ideas and he was super knowledgeable and gave us some great advice and suggestions about how to make our design work with the type of land we have. Prices were reasonable and everyone was super friendly. I can't speak highly enough about this place. They have everything you need for patio pavers, outdoor hardscaping, ponds, fountains, cement decorations, fire pits, cement edging, adding stone to your house, plus when we went they had a huge garden center also. They have a million other things there also, so I'd even suggest going just to look for ideas of how to change up your yard.

StoneCore did a wonderful job. They placed pavers and put adjacent retaining wall along our dock. I was very pleased with the professionalism and they were neat and they made the ground perfectly level before laying the pavers and I especially appreciate that they vigorously and diligently tamped down the ground before they laid the pavers and blocks. This is so important to prevent future probs which i unfortunately have in a different place in my yard from a different contractor. They really did a perfect job.

When we were seeking a company to do our outdoor kitchen, we had several things we wanted and had envisioned. Mike Cissio came in and let us know that he could coordinate pavers, pavilion, bush and tree removal, appliances, water, electric, tile and lighting. It was a tremendous project for us and Mike and the Stonecore team did a great job listening to our ideas and incorporated materials we had to match our pool, pavilion and pavers for our backyard. We were so pleased in how this turned out. Our dream of having an entertainment area where our family and friends could enjoy became a reality. Thanks so much Mike, Tim (who did a fabulous job on the pavilion) and the tile gentleman They all were top shelf. Thanks so much!!!

Stonecore has completed two major projects at my house. I must say these guys have exceeded my expectations. They have gone the uttermost, above and beyond with my home project. Jason and Travis are amazing, as well as the team that supports them. Keep up the amazing work guys and continue to thrive on being the best in your class.

Mike and his team from StoneCore a rare find these days. We approached them with an inspo picture and asked if they could do it. They NAILED it. They follow through on their commitments, produce a beautiful and well constructed product, and truly want their customers to be delighted. We couldn’t be happier. Don’t hesitate to use them. You won’t regret it. Mike is awesome to work with as are his crews.

We are repeat Stonecore customers and have enjoyed our Isokern Volcanic fireplace for years! This week we began the transformation of our backyard and Stonecore delivered again. The paver path and half-wall seating area is perfect, and we could not be happier! Super professional install and design worthy of 5 Stars and an A+. Mike C and team -Thank you again for everything. I have used this company for a couple of jobs including a pool and summer kitchen. Referred to a friend for a pool paver job and they have completely done this person wrong. They have not stood behind their subcontractors who we very messy and left damage to pool screen and doors. Even after escalating, they did nothing but lie and miss appointments. DONT DO IT, there are better options. Jason listened, acted concerned, but zero follow up and no resolution. Will never recommend this company again!

We had a paver patio installed in July 2017. Travis was our salesman and also was very helpful in designing the shape and features. We got several estimate from different companies before we chose to work with Travis and Stone Core. Travis was, by far, the most responsive of all the companies' reps. that we dealt with, usually returning calls and texts immediately. That was the best part about dealing with this company. The pavers are beautiful and the job they did looks great. Their prices were very reasonable. We are very satisfied and would recommend them .

Stonecore did an amazing job from start to finish. They met with us and designed a fireplace that met our needs, stayed in contact throughout the process and finished the job timely. We will definitely use them again and we do recommend them.

Greatest customer service I've ever received! Mike was involved every step of the way, making sure the job was completed properly, never running out of supplies. Jose and his crew were very courteous and did an excellent job. I received so many compliments that I decided to expand the project. Looking forward to more projects afterwards!

Mike handled our project from start to finish and he did a great job. I highly recommend stonecore and working with Mike for your projects! The entire team was great. They kept us in the loop on the timeline and everyone was polite and kept the work area clean. High quality work!

Mike and his team just finished pavers for our patio. They did a fantastic job, we’re very professional, timely and most importantly did quality work. We have already asked Mike and team for an additional bid for some more work that we would like to get done to our home in the near future. Highly recommend.

We are very happy with our summer kitchen which Stonecore built. From the start, the process was very easy from design, to stone selection all the way through to the final product. The team set the correct expectations, communicated regularly, arrived on time and completed the job on time. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Jason, Lukas and Sokol!

Excellent work. We had brick pavers put down in our yard as well as stone facing on our fireplace. The materials and workmanship are both excellent. A complete transformation of our property. Stonecore is efficient, professional and cleaned up everything as if they were never here. Highly recommended.

We’ve owned several homes and our standards are quite high. Stonecore more than met our expectations. Their professional knowledge, highly skilled crew and ease of communication made the job as smooth as silk. We had ZERO issues and would use them again in a heartbeat! They take pride in their work, as they should.

Mike and Jose and the rest of the team did a great job on my house. I had a delay due to a painter that could not paint my house so they even hooked me up with a GREAT painter too. They were very professional and customer focused. My house looks beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone that asks.

We had a wonderful experience with Travis and his team while constructing our new home. We had 7 separate areas utilizing material from Stone Core. Not only did Travis provide his expertise and experience but he made a suggestion for our open patio that steps down from the large back porch that we hadn't even thought of! Travis was on site frequently during construction and oversaw all deliveries and installation.
All of our paver areas turned out so beautiful as well as functional. Stone Core definitely exceeded our expectations! We don't hesitate to refer
them to anyone who has a need for this service and product.

Can’t recommend the Stonecore team enough. They tore out our large concrete driveway and replaced it with stunning Tri-Circle flat pavers in a dreamy angle pattern. It’s so unique and the number of compliments received is a testament to their workmanship.
Travis as a dream to work with and even answered my texts after surgery (which I didn’t realize until later). Their estimate was very reasonable and attentiveness to customer service was beyond exceptional.
They even have a local showroom so you can personally view a wide variety of pavers and stonework, including beautiful travertine. We found this so helpful.
Stonecore completed the job in a few short days with high quality craftsmen installing the pavers like true experts.

I wouldn’t hesitate an instant to use them again and recommend them for any of your stonework needs but especially for driveways!

Mike C, rep for Stonecore, was very professional and responsive. The masons and plumbers were equally accommodating. The finished outdoor kitchen was completed on time. We are extremely satisfied with their work and the product performance.

One of their salesman talked to me like trash on the road. Beware of the rudeness if you go here.
