I cannot say enough great things about Joe and Palm Beach Outdoor Design Group! From start to finish, they exceeded my expectations in every way. They transformed my previously unusable outdoor space into the most stunning entertainment area I could have ever imagined. The pergola, hardscape, turf, and putting green are absolutely perfect—every detail was thoughtfully executed with expert craftsmanship. The team was professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. I never wanted to look at my old backyard, and now I can’t wait to spend all my time out there! If you’re considering an outdoor upgrade, this is the company to call. Highly recommend!

I got a referral from another landscaping company to install artificial turf on my backyard, they did not disappoint, Joseph and his brother met with me, they took measurements, we discussed the price and the timeline for job completion and everything was on time as promised. I was really pleased with the job done and will use their service again, I highly recommend them.

I saw one bad review above and not sure how this person could have been working with the same company as it was nothing like I experienced at all. Much of the review seemed unreasonable to me. Chicken bones! Really?
I would recommend Joe and his team to anyone.

Joe and his team were very professional and responsive. They really helped us understand the process and showed us many options in order to help us get the best product possible. I would definitely recommend for anyone’s outdoor needs.

Palm Beach Outdoor Design Group did an excellent job building us a brand new driveway at our house in Tequesta. Joe, Mike, and the entire team are extremely knowledgeable. He came prepared with tons of paver samples. The process was smooth and efficient. They are also very talented Landscape designers. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a paver driveway, landscaping or turf

The best of the best. We had the pleasure of using Palm Beach Outdoor for our landscape and Hardscape needs. We’ve gone through a lot of contractors over the years and very rarely Do they actually deliver on what they promise. Palm Beach outdoor went above and beyond carried out our vision exactly the way we wanted it. We will continue using them in the future. They were professional. They worked quickly and they did such an incredible job. A++

Joe and his team did a fantastic job. Joe is very meticulous with his work and design. When questions arose during the project, he was prompt to answer and on-site frequently. I’d highly recommend Joe and his team for any project, small or large.

We couldn’t be happier with the work done on our landscaping and deck! From start to finish, Palm Beach Outdoor was professional, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his craft. Joe listened to our ideas, offered great suggestions, and delivered results that far exceeded our expectations.

The quality of workmanship is outstanding — our deck is solid, beautifully finished, and already a centerpiece for family gatherings. The landscaping completely transformed our outdoor space, making it both functional and stunning. Everything was completed on time and within budget, which made the process stress-free.

If you’re looking for someone who does incredible work and truly cares about their clients, I highly recommend this contractor. You’ll be glad you chose him!

I’m writing this review to help others avoid the mistake I made. I was overcharged, taken advantage of, and left with property damage and ongoing issues due to poor workmanship and lack of supervision.

Joe required a 50% deposit at contract signing, which is inconsistent with Florida regulations that generally limit deposits to 10% at permit application. I am not certain whether Joe is a licensed contractor, but he could not pull permits, and I was required to obtain owner-builder permits on his behalf. Palm Beach County staff specifically warned me not to do this for a contractor.

Joe was friendly and reassuring at first, repeatedly saying he was “doing me a favor.” Once work began, he was rarely on site, barely supervised his crew, and was generally unavailable before 9–10 a.m.

His crew discarded chicken bones in my yard (a serious hazard for my dogs) and drove a heavy truck over my septic tank, causing visible damage. Work was added without approval, including a $2,000 upcharge. The project went from $33k to ~50k, and the deck was built larger than permitted, forcing me to modify my own permit.

Nearly a year later, I’m left with sinking turf and a cracked paver, and Joe has completely ghosted us. After posting a review, he threatened me with a lawyer. This review reflects my personal experience and opinion.

Please be cautious: verify licensing, get everything in writing, don’t pay large deposits up front, and be wary of any contractor who asks you to pull an owner-builder permit.

After seeing the work done on a neighbors driveway and walkway a few months ago in our neighborhood, my wife and I contacted Joe to come out and give us an estimate on a complete backyard renovation and front entry remodel. Joe told us he would work on it and when he would get back to us, and he kept his promise. He gave us ideas and thoughts that we hadn't thought about and we are glad he did. He came to my work office and sat down with me to go over an extremely detailed and professional estimate. It was the most detailed and professional estimate we received from 4 different companies we contacted. Joe was also the most personable, friendly, and responsive company we contacted. Joe came to the house daily to check on progress and to get our thoughts and feelings on how things were turning out. His father and brother along with his entire crew were always friendly, they showed up when they were supposed to and worked tirelessly, especially since we had a hard deadline. One member of his crew was under the weather for a week and still showed up to make sure the marble was being installed properly and with precision cuts. They cleaned up daily and made sure our pool wasn't destroyed by making sure it was covered properly so debris wouldn't fall in. Our backyard has been turned into a resort style property that we couldn't be more pleased with. We are in "awe" every time we look at it and this past Sunday we had a joint birthday party for our girls, and Joe and his wife came by, not only to wish our daughters happy birthday, but to also check on the deck after it was sealed and to make sure we are 100% happy with the outcome. All of our friends and family and everyone who came to the party have just been amazed with the outcome. Our backyard is absolutely stunning now and so it out front entryway. We did not know before contacting Joe, that we would also have a new friendship with him and his wife. Joe and his company will also be doing additional projects on our property in the near and distant future. Thank you again Joe, your father, brother, and entire crew.

We hired Joe and team to install landscaping at our new home in Tequesta. Joe's recommendations were perfect and the plants and trees wound up being HUGE! They did an incredible job with the install and were onsite every single day to water and check on the health of the plants. We couldn't be any happier with the project and will be using them again to do our summer kitchen!

I couldn't recommend Palm Beach Outdoor Design Group more if I tried! They did the most incredible job on my backyard and truly transformed it. The owner Joe helped come up with a vision that was far beyond what I could have dreamt up myself, and he coordinated all the work. We added pavers, turf, a putting green and an outdoor kitchen--this was a substantial job and it went very smoothly. Not only was the work done extremely well, it was fast and the communication was excellent. I'm a realtor and recommend them to EVERYONE I know for backyard projects--they really are that great!
