Poor attention to detail and zero accountability. The planters were installed directly on travertine without any risers, which caused staining from trapped drainage—something that could’ve been easily avoided with basic knowledge and experience. When I brought it up, Romy got defensive and started blaming the nursery that sold the planters instead of taking responsibility. I even offered to cover half of the labor cost to fix it and was willing to provide two of my own employees to help, just to get it resolved fairly. She still refused to take any accountability. At one point she even said she doesn’t usually do planter installs and only works with plants in the ground, which was surprising because that was never mentioned when she came out to estimate the job. I remained respectful the entire time, but the conversation ended with her hanging up on me. I ended up fixing the issue myself. Would not recommend based on the lack of accountability and professionalism.
