I needed a reliable electrician to do unfinished various electrical work at my home for over a year. I was recently referred to Ochoa electric. David and his worker Danny at Ochoa have exceeded my expectations with the terrific job they did reinstalling my ceiling fans fixing one of the switches and replacing a post light cover with new wiring sensor outside. KUDOS to Ochoa!! I have FINALLY found a real good electrician and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you David & Danny!! Very satisfied customer, Brian

Ochoa Electric Services did a top rate job diagnosing the issue with a ceiling fan and then replacing the fan. They came out the very next day after I called them. Maria was extremely professional and helpful on the phone. The service technician, Kyle, was knowledgeable, efficient, and polite. The pricing was quite reasonable as well. We will be sure to use Ochoa again for our future electrical needs.

Overpriced And Unreasonable
David ran a wire in my garage for a security camera. On Thursday, he quoted me $350 for the job but when they came back on Friday the price mysteriously changed to $400. I didn't know exactly how long the job would take, so I reluctantly agreed. The job was actually done very quickly because I had already ran an extension cord that they used to guide their permanent wire and greatly reduce the effort of the job.

In total, the job took less than 25 minutes, and when I asked if there could be any reduction in price given that I already did a decent chunk of the work for him by running the extension cord, he wouldn't budge from his (new) $400 price.

I didn't think that showed a lot of integrity on his part, because the job was much less work than originally thought. I'm not someone who takes pleasure in writing negative reviews, but this was just totally unreasonable. So David's rate is $400 for 30 minutes or about $800 per hour. If that's what you're looking for in an electrician, David is your man. Customers beware!

I have been dealing with this company for nearly a decade for all things electrical. From interior to exterior lighting, fixtures, replacements, installations and repairs. I’ve never been disappointed and always quite impressed and pleased with results. When David sent one his workers out to repair/replace under cabinet kitchen lighting and outdoor outlets recently, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly impressed. I could tell immediately that Kyle had been mentored under David’s tutelage. Kyle was professional, pleasant, and quite knowledgeable about the trade. He was highly efficient in guiding and advising me on various aspects of products and services that would be best for both projects. I am thoroughly satisfied and happy with Kyle’s overall work and I highly recommend this company for any and all of your electrical needs and projects.

We've used Ochoa Electric a couple of times now and have been very happy with their services. David is nice and easy to schedule with. Very clear on pricing and the work we've had done has been great as well. Our technician this time, Kyle, was friendly and professional. We appreciate great local services and would definitely recommend Ochoa Electric.

The work quality was fine, but the cost was excessive. It cost me $1067 to replace 3 light bulb drivers.

Work was good but they are extremely expensive. Please make sure they give you the price of the material up front and track how many hours they work as they bill $120 an hour times how many people they bring to the job. They do not disclose how much materials cost and materials at their price are insane. They charged me 3k dollars for two GFIs and two 30 amp breakers. Cool staff and knowledgeable just EXTREMELY expensive.

I had an excellent experience with Ochoa Electric Services. David showed up right on time, which already put me at ease. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through everything in a way that made sense. I was having electrical issues with both my travel trailer and EV charger setup at home—he figured it out quickly and got everything working smoothly.

Thanks to David, my sister has her AC running again in the trailer, and I can now charge my electric vehicle at home instead of wasting money at a ekectric station. It's rare to find an electrician this reliable and thorough.

The technician, Adrian Pope, arrived exactly at the scheduled time!! He listened to our issues with landscape lighting and suggested a measured approach to find the problem. A very warm and friendly guy, he tried to understand and resolve our needs and concerns. Fixed everything within a hour. He did a great job at a reasonable cost. Thank you!

I truly appreciate the outstanding service provided by Ronnie during the recent installation of my outdoor lights. He ensured they were installed properly and adjusted perfectly. He also took the time to explain how I could change the settings. Ronnie's extensive experience and technical knowledge are apparent in the service he provides. He knows what he is doing and does it extremely well. I would highly recommend him for any electrical needs.

This is the third time Ronnie has done an electrical project for us and once again we are so pleased with his work, punctuality, courtesy and attention to detail. This time he brought an assistant Omer who was great.

"AVOID KASPER ELECTRIC AT ALL COSTS!" This company is a nightmare—dishonest, unprofessional, and borderline fraudulent. We hired them for an emergency electrical fix at Harbour View, which they resolved in ONE hour. We paid their steep emergency rate, no questions asked. Then their technician lingered for THREE extra hours messing with a non-emergency kitchen light we didn’t even request. We still paid for it out of courtesy, and the technician confirmed payment was complete—twice!
Suddenly, they demanded an extra $268 for 'material' that NEVER HAPPENED. Our records prove we paid for all billed time, plus material, but they don’t care. Mona screamed at me over the phone, refused to let me speak to Justin or Cassie Kasper, and hung up. Justin ignored my email begging for a call to sort this out. Worse, they THREATENED to illegally charge an owner’s credit card without permission—a total scam move.
Kasper Electric preys on customers with fake charges, ignores evidence, and treats you like garbage when you call them out. We’re reporting them to consumer protection agencies. Save yourself the headache—hire anyone else!"

The company is top notch. I have had them out before. This time I had exterior lights in front put in for aesthetics and some for security and they look fantastic! It was a fun experience and I learned a lot as he worked. Ronnie was great!

Kasper Electric was responsible for Electrical construction for our recent new home build. We had a great experience! Horrible experience. My appointment was scheduled for 8:00 a.m. Electrician arrived 3 hours and 15 minutes late. While waiting I called constantly and all I got was voice message and no one called me back. I received a couple of text messages saying that technician was on his way and will arrive soon but no specific arrival time. The worse part is that the job site was a vacant unit and there was nowhere for me to sit while waiting. This company requires a $100 "dispatch" fee, but there was no live dispatcher to communicate with me while I waited. Electrician was pleasant and knowledgeable, but it does not make up for the loss of 3+ hours of my time and the frustration. I will not be using their services again.
