I hired Exotic Gardens for a landscaping project and unfortunately the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The quality of the work looked very amateur. Areas were left sloppy and unfinished, and the overall attention to detail was lacking. Before the job was even completed, they began demanding the final payment, which felt very unprofessional. Several parts of the project were still incomplete at that point. When I raised concerns, communication became difficult and resolving issues turned into a frustrating process.

What was most disappointing is that they did not stand behind the warranties they discussed when the work was being sold. They refuse to replace a dying palm tree that was warrantied for 1 year. (Picture attached)

Based on my experience, I would not recommend hiring them to cut your grass much less do any kind of landscaping.

I live in Bradenton Fl. This business shows for Bradenton Fl. On the day of consultation we received a phone call advising that they would not be meeting with us because we live too far away. Good figure…either they are not in Bradenton or just don’t want the business.

In response and leaving it at that. Sandra was aware on day of scheduled appointment that our address was west Bradenton. Calling the day of the appointment after our schedules were arranged for the day was not beneficial.

Extremely pleased with the service received from Exotic Gardens. Workers are dependable and do a great job keeping our yard looking good.

Great experience working with Sandra!! She is a terrific designer, extremely responsive and attentive and a wonderful communicator. She and her team did a beautiful and neat job. Can't recommend highly enough!!

I cannot say whether Exotic can do a good job or not but be aware that they turned me down two weeks after having come to my home because I did not have a "large..., full design landscaping."
I was working on a proposal with Exotic for the addition of a terraced garden with built in irrigation..., plus some landscaping at the front of the home. After two weeks instead of following up with a proposal they declined. Probably not the best choice if you are making landscape modifications. Ask up front if your project meets their criteria. On the plus side they were quick to make an appointment and were on time. Did appear to be knowledgeable on plant options. Best of Luck

We were extremely pleased with the quality and appearance of the landscaping done by Exotic Landscaping Company. Sandra and Meghan communicated promptly with us and answered all our questions. The crew were very polite and did an excellent job each day,cleaning up. We would definitely recommend Exotic Landscaping!!

Exotic Gardens did the landscaping of the house behind me. I was SO impressed with their work I reached out to Sandra. She was quick to return my call…schedule a visit and lay out my plan. She and her team came out about 2 weeks after the plan was approved. They were efficient at getting the work done and cleaning up. When they were done and gone I was left with the perfect landscaping.

Exotic Gardens has been doing our landscaping projects for 3+ years. We also have them do monthly maintenance for us even though we live in a maintenance-free community. We are very particular and Sandra is amazingly creative, responsive and has a wonderful team headed up by Shane. We get so many compliments on our landscaping by our neighbors, friends, family. I am actually a top Realtor in the area and refer clients to Exotic Gardens, including my Brother who has enjoyed working with Exotic Gardens also. I strongly recommend if you want some special landscaping and want it done right, call Exotic Gardens! You will be so glad you did!

Sandra and crew pay special attention to detail. Always going the extra mile to ensure our property looks the best it possibly can. We have used them for the past 2 years and are extremely happy how they have transformed our property. I would highly recommend them.

We love our new landscaping by Exotic. We used them as we especially liked the design at one of our neighbors. We left them a note to see who did the job, and it was Exotic. Sandra created a plan for both our front and back and was flexible on plants but made sure we knew what would thrive in this environment, which we needed to know as we are new to Florida plants. She also set up time for us with a client so we could see the type of flowers/plantings she did for their back yard, which was very helpful. The installation of the plantings went very smoothly and the quality of the plants was amazing. The team was great-they all knew what to do and worked hard and efficiently. We'll be using Exotic for monthly maintenance too so things don't get out of control!
