I had an AC problem yesterday. I called Jenergy after hours and requested an appointment for the next day. They made an appointment for early the next day. They were on time and very professional. The tech that came was Andrew. Great employee. You should clone him. I did end up getting a new unit installed. Install went very well. My garage was left cleaner than when they started. Thank you Andrew and David. If I ever have any more issues, this company is the one I will call. Thank you.

As a business owner, you deal with many clients and many issues on job sites in our business. I believe a business should be judged on how it responds to any adversity and installation issues that they may have. I would like to take a moment and let you know that Jenergy did not do my job Perfect the first time. However, with customer relations that became exceptional and management stepping forward, making sure the Client was taken care of installation was reviewed and tested. I am very impressed. Bobby The service technician was absolutely wonderful, professional, and courteous. Management came to our home, visited the job and made all corrections that were needed. I know that there are many people that believe that when you receive a service that it should be absolutely perfect the first time, but we live in an imperfect world, and I am very thankful that the corrections were done in a manner in which was explained to me and my wife and was taken care of. I am thankful of Bobby and the management. I would recommend giving this company your business knowing that another business owner is very impressed with how they responded from adversity.

I hired JenEnergy air Services to install a new AC heat pump. I began to have issues with the unit shutting down within a short period. I called them to check it and they told me it was due to bacterial buildup and that I now needed a UV light installed for an extra $1,500. I continued to have issues. I spoke to a representative for UV lights. He explained, it was installed incorrectly. I began to have moisture building up daily. I now need to run a dehumidifier constantly. We are also experiencing breathing issues. Their answer to it shutting down was to shut it down for a while and reboot it.
I finally called four other HVAC companies to assess the problem To be told they installed a 4-ton, single cycle with an electric airstrip heat system, in a 1,250 sq.ft apartment. A unit that size will not run efficiently; it will short cycle causing moisture and bacteria to form. What should have been installed was a 2.5 ton AC.
Jen came out and agreed that the unit was too large and the UV light had been installed incorrectly. She agreed there was now a bacterial issue in the vents. Her solution was to sell me a whole new system. New systems cost between $12,000 and $15,000.She would discount a new system by $1,500 for my trouble. On a AC that life expectancy is 15/20 years. I didn't feel that offer would make me whole and was willing to negotiate with her. Since then she will not answer my letter, email, or except and phone call from me.
Added in response to Jen's response to me in this review.
Jen, Your contract to me states this: Removing an existing and replacing it with a new 4Ton 16 Seer American Standard heat pump. I have the contract. I didn't know you had not installed a heat pump AC, until other HVAC companies told me.
As for the previous owners having a computer repair shop in this space before I bought this house has no bearing on your men coming out to sell me a new AC.
It was no longer a computer repair space, and hadn't been for years. I was now in the market for a new AC and called your company. They came into my apartment and saw an apartment, not a computer store. They measured the square footage. Why they sold me a 4 ton when any HVAC man would have known it only needed a 2.5 ton AC. I have no idea. I relied on your team's expertise to sell me the unit I needed for my 1,250 sq ft space. How would I know that the space no longer needed a 4 ton. That was your company's responsibility to inform me.
Yes, I did have to keep calling you back for repairs on a new unit. That should have alerted your men to see for themselves that something was wrong. It took one look from four different companies to tell me that AC unit is a 4 ton, and not a heat pump. It is not working effectively as it is short cycling, never allowing the system to remove the humidity. I never connected the humidity issue to an oversized AC. When you entered my home, you said, "I can smell the moisture".
I never demanded $6,000. My letter to you stated - "I am not asking you to take responsibility for the whole new system at today's cost of $12,000 -$14,000. I am asking you to meet me halfway through your proposal. We believe the fair amount to be $6,000." You said you were open to negotiations. That is what I was doing. I felt it was fair because I did not cause this problem. At 81 years old I anticipated that I would not have to replace another air conditioning system, this unit is only 4 years old.
You told me you now own the company and are divorced, and your EX did things differently than you do. He was at my house and saw and measured this space. You informed me as an owner, you take care of your customers and do things differently. I wanted to settle this but you have refused to talk to me until now, when I wrote this review.
