Tree reviews in Largo, Florida

Zero stars. We have used Alexanders Tree Service every year for several years and we were very happy until late last year. We had extensive tree damage from Hurricane Milton and they responded quickly. It was a big job and they removed 13 trees relatively quickly. BUT their bobcat driver took out live ornamental bushes, trees and plants, completing the devastation. AND, months later they still haven't taken down the final tree, removed one uprooted stump, nor ground all the stumps, all of which was contracted for in writing. Because we trusted them we paid the full amount. We have been promised multiple times they would finish the work we paid for and they no longer respond to our communications. We are extremely disappointed and we will no longer recommend them.

Mitch and the crew were very professional and knowledgeable. they pruned and cleaned out all the dead wood in my large oak tree and removed a deceased dying magnolia. The whole crew were very efficient, quick and professional. Before leaving they cleaned up everything and the area was cleaner than when they started. They do an excellent job and are affordable.

We have used Mitch and his crew three times once to cut down a tree and the other times to trim live oaks. His crew is professional, courteous and fast. I have used other more expensive tree services but would recommend Mitch and his crew over them. My trees look great and the cleanup looks better than it did when they started. I would highly recommend them.

From estimate to tree felling and pruning, we were so impressed with Mitch and his team! They took the time needed to provide a competitive price, and on the day of service, a highly skilled and professional work environment from start to finish. We whole heartedly can recommend The Tree Feller of Pinellas! They were referred to us, so we are very happy to pass along the review. Thank you!

Update:Mitch and his crew came out again to trim the oak. They strategically trimmed it to allow more sun on the pool. Quick, efficient, and excellent clean up!

Mitch came out to give us an estimate on taking down a very large live oak that leans towards our house. But after he assessed the tree he advised us to let him trim and take weight off the healthy tree. We got to keep the only shade in our yard and save money! His crew came and were quick and efficient. Great job, will use them again if needed.

Mitch and his crew recently removed a tree from our backyard and we were thrilled with their work! He provided a clear estimate of what we could expect regarding removal and clean-up and also provided insurance info and dates the work could begin. We also learned a lot from him about tree trimming and all other county regulations we should be aware of.
He and his team were prompt, punctual, professional and did a fantastic Job!!. You will not regret using Tree Feller!! We will definitely recommend him.

Mitch and his team recently removed a tree from our yard and we were thrilled with his work! He provided a clear estimate of what we could expect regarding removal and clean-up and also provided insurance info and dates the work could begin. He and his team were prompt, punctual, professional and “did what they said they would do” which seems rare these days. Great job as far as skills, timeliness, quality and final outcome! You will not regret using Tree Fellar!

Mitch and his team did an excellent job pruning our large live oak. They were prompt and efficient, and reasonably priced. Mitch is licensed and insured so we were very comfortable with his team doing this difficult work. Great job; I’d hire them again, and recommend them for any tree work you might need!

Such a great experience with Mitch and his crew. We just had our mango tree pruned and cut back from our house. Super professional crew. Fair pricing. Showed up early, got the job done quickly, and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend them for any tree service. Mitch has lots of knowledge and so does his crew. We will be using them again in the near future.

Thank you Mitch and crew for a job well done. Our Live Oak Canopy has never been happier. Your guys are by far some of the best tree climbers and arborists in the business. We easily survived winds from a couple of named storms and Hurricane Helene. Thank you!!

Mitch and his crew were at our site within three business days of our request for tree service. They cut an Oak and trimmed palm trees. They did a great job. This is the second time we've used their services and highly recommend this company! Their cost is reasonable. Definitely worth it to get a quote from Mitch!

Had a GREAT experience with The Tree Feller. Mitch was prompt in answering my call and came out the next day to give a good estimate. My job wasn't major and he was able to fit us in quickly. The area was way cleaner when Mitch and his crew left. He came to us as a referral from a friend and I will definitely recommend his company to others. DOES GREAT WORK!

Mitch is a very fair and reasonable man, the price he quotes is very good. This is my second tree I had Mitch and his crew remove, they are very efficient, polite and very professional at what they do. They always clean up after the work is done. I would recommend The Tree Feller to anyone that needs a tree removed. Top notch company.

Mitch and his team are great. I requested a quote for some tree work and he got it to me quick. Communication was great throughout the process. The work was done fast and my yard looked great afterwards. Overall my experience was as good as the other five star reviews. More business could learn a thing or two from how Mitch treats his customers. Great job and thank you again. Highly recommend this company.

Fantastic company, I highly recommend! Mitch is professional, prompt, honest, and goes above and beyond to deliver great service. Our front yard maple tree had to come down and our "leggy" 15' tall hedges needed a good pruning. Mitch's crew was fast, professional, respectful of our property and did a real good job cleaning up before leaving. 5 stars all the way. Will hire again when needed.

Mitch and his team came and cleaned up my giant live oak. They did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Now I can rest easy this summer when the hurricanes come again, hopefully not!

Mitch and his team are true professionals. I should have videoed their work and put it all on YouTube - they were amazing. Not only did they have all the needed equipment (plus a few other cool machines) - they worked so well together as a team. They discussed every aspect of the tree removal before they started the work. They carefully planned the steps needed to bring the tree down safely and efficiently. Most important to me was the multiple safety measures they took in advance of the work. I know others have said this about tree removal, but it was almost like surgery - methodical, technical, safe and successful. I highly recommend Tree Feller. After they left, I walked the area of the removal and everything was cleaned up - I mean everything. A job well done and I hope to employ them in the future for other tree removal projects.

Today was the second time we used The Tree Feller. Mitch and his team do an excellent job: quality work at a fair price. I’m really impressed with their responsiveness. I called and Mitch answered the phone. He was at my house the next day with a quote. A few days later the tree was gone and another tree trimmed. They left the yard spotless after they finished. Nice work Mitch and team.

Owner/operator Mitch was in and out in 1 hour as promised. He and his crew worked efficiently and effectively. They removed a 40' x 3' in diameter tree and did the stump grinding the next day. It was entertaining to watch! Great service and great price.. We will be using The tree feller again and have already recommended them to family and friends.

Pricing was extremely fair and affordable. We’re extremely happy with their tree trimming that they did. We would highly recommend them to anybody that’s needing of tree trimming. Very Impressive! Mitch Feller from The Tree Feller came out and gave us a free estimate for a very large project we had at our home. In addition to the estimate, he gave us a copy of his license and insurance. It's noteworthy that Mitch was very fair with his pricing. On the day of the project, his crew showed up ahead of schedule and was ready to begin at the exact time that Mitch had said. Mitch has a team of professionals that has been with him for a while, and it shows. They work very well together, very professionally, very meticulous, and very courteous. We were also impressed at how they cleaned up as they worked. In addition, Mitch has the best tree-climber in the area. It was something to watch this guy work! If you're in need of a big job of tree removal or simply need tree trimming, we can honestly recommend Mitch Feller and crew. They're awesome and we appreciate their hard work. Thank you!
