Electrical reviews in Lauderhill, Florida

We wanted to put a fan into our guest bedroom and decided hiring an electrician was a better idea than making it a DYI project. Maurice arrived for our appointment in a timely manner, was professional throughout our encounter and always took his time to explain things to myself and my girlfriend. This is the second job he's done for us - we were left completely satisfied both times. He also is fair with pricing and often goes the extra mile by leaving the work area just as clean as when he found it. Would recommend!

Maurice did an incredible job upgrading my electrical panel, fixing grounding issues and a couple of other minor things that came up. He walks you through the entire process, is very upfront about pricing and leaves the area clean. He was very thorough in his inspection. I highly recommend him.

If you want perfection, MG Electric is the right choice for all your electrical needs. Maurice recently mounted four TV’s and installed track lighting in the den of my home and it was all expertly done. He and his assistants are respectful of the home in that they wear boot covers, place tarp around the work area to avoid any damage and do a thorough clean up when the work is done. This is the second time Maurice has done work for me so I highly recommend MG Electric, you won’t be disappointed.

I previously used the services of Maurice 10 years ago (2014) when he worked for another company. His work product was so professional and impressive then, that I specifically requested him again for a later electrical project in 2020. When I discovered he was no longer there and had his own company (MG Electric, Inc.), there was no hesitation to employ him for that project. Since that time I have utilized the services of MG Electric/Maurice for five (5) additional electric projects, including this past week. I cannot say enough about how competent and professional his work product is. The work on every project has been performed timely, with excellent value and results. I wholeheartedly recommend Maurice, and MG Electrical, with no reservation whatsoever, for any electrical project anyone might have. He and MG Electrical are 100% reliable and professional, and I give them my personal highest recommendation.

Maurice, the owner of this company was very efficient and always kept his word. If he said he was going to show up, he did. His work was of excellent quality and we passed the City inspection with no problems and his price was fair. I would highly recomment MG Electric.

As with any other great business you become loyal to, many usually come from a referral, OR the reviews you read on line. Which is the reason I want to give this company the highest rating I possibly can. In my case, Maurice was referred to me by a good friend and colleague of mine, and when he was raving about how professional and knowledgeable Maurice was, and how different he was from other Electricians/Contractors I may have dealt with in the past (like most that just getting them to show up is a mission), he told me that Maurice would be different then most. And I have to say that with every other great things he said about Maurice, I thought he was slightly exaggeration. However, in actuality, my friend/colleague under promised and overdelivered.

Besides being licensed and insured, and besides punctuality and his master electrical skills, I find one of MG Electric Inc. best practice is the laminated book he carries in his work van. The book has just about every single electrical job you might ever need to do in your home, with prices right beside each job, prices that include everything, such as labor AND parts. To me it was such a relief to know that I was being charged an honest price and that price was the same for everyone. They are like the Car/Max of Electrical Contractors :-) No haggling, and no wondering ever, if you are overpaying. AND what they charge is also very reasonable IMO. Especially when you consider how everything was done to perfection the first time, and how clean and neat it all looked after the was done.

NOT to mention that Maurice came to our house to do work recently, and as soon as he exited the van, I could tell that he was very conscious of the current situation with the Corona Pandemic, and that he was following every precaution necessary to make us feel completely safe with him working in and around our home. I can not more strongly recommend Maurice and their family own business, MG Electric, Inc..

Maurice is the ultimate professional. My neighbor highly recommended Maurice and she was right because I was impressed from the initial phone call. He set up the appointment and was here as promised. He assessed what was needed to be done and returned quickly after to do the work. He maintained an immaculate work area and left our house in perfect condition. He honored his estimate and there were no additional charges or fees. We definitely will recommend him to our friends and family.

Maurice is amazing. He is professional, efficient and honest. I have had nothing but great experiences with him. I would highly recommend using this company for all your electric related needs.

Maurice and his team are amazing! Maurice is professional, reliable, knowledgeable, detail oriented, tidy, does everything the right way, and takes great pride in his work. He helped me with multiple fans for 15' ceilings with in wall remotes, an EV charger, running coaxial cable in the attic, in wall light switch timers, motion detector light switches, smart doorbell and chime, and moving electrical outlets. Highly recommend 10/10.

I chose MG Electric because of a recommendation. Maurice came to my house the same day I called him. He is extremely knowledgeable about the work I wanted done and explained different options. I bought the needed equipment and he scheduled me right away. Maurice came as scheduled and completed the install quickly. He spent time showing me how to operate the system and made sure I had no questions. I’ve already recommended him to my neighbors. Great work!

Maurice installed new wiring required for two floodlight Ring cameras. He listened to our concerns and took time explaining everything he was doing. He fixed a couple other things around the house. The pricing was fair considering how much time he spent with us. We will definitely be using MG Electric again!

Maurice is professional & easy to talk to which helps when trying to explain what we want to accomplish. Maurice has helped us with light fixtures, fans and tv’s to name a few projects. He always does a phenomenal job and always cleans up after a project which is much appreciated. I would not hesitate recommending Maurice & MG Electric every time. I will definitely continue to utilize his services for years to come.

Outstanding quality, customer service is A+, workmanship is unmatched. Maurice was unbelievable, he in particular is a rare breed he was everything you look for in a business owner and or an employee but is rarely found nowadays: honest, fair, top quality work, detail oriented (even with the little things) and unmatched customer service, everything was explained and done on time and at quoted cost. Highly highly highly recommend if you need an electrician for your home or business

Clear communication, responsive, intelligent in diagnosing issues, great at explaining, and quite simply polite and extremely professional - amazing experience with MG, Maurice is a pleasure to work with. I'd book them again in a heartbeat for anything we need.

BEST ELECTRICIAN EVER!! I recently requested service from MG Electric Inc. My electrician, Maurice, was absolutely amazing. I was very distressed about some issues I was having, and he was patient, kind, explained everything and mostly provided a notebook with all the cost upfront so there’d be no surprises. In the past I’ve had people do work and then tell me how much it cost and that’s not what this company does. They are very clear in what could certain repairs cost. They were on time, repaired my issues and did a fantastic job of cleaning up, including taking my fans that were broken. I would highly highly recommend Maurice and this company to anyone that needs any electrical service assistance. I’m grateful my brother gave me the number to this company.

MG Electric Inc. delivers exceptional service marked by professionalism and expertise. I had the opportunity to work with Maurice and was thoroughly impressed by his knowledge and dedication.

I almost went with another company, but after speaking with Mr. Maurice I had the confidence that they were the best people for the job. They are very professional, honest, and work so neatly. They always keep you informed and don't try to upsell you on everything. I recommended them to my neighbor and she was also thrilled with their work. Awesome guys. Definitely calling again in August for more work. Thank you so much.

MG Electric is professional and they do excellent work. Explaining the process upfront. I would highly recommend their services.

From the first phone call to MG Electric, they exemplified a high level of professionalism and knowledge. Maurice came out to my residence, quickly diagnosed my problem accurately and was transparent in my options to repair. The repair process would involve a city permit, and Maurice took care of everything and updated me along the way. Communication was outstanding, as was his level of care. The repair was completed exactly when and as promised, and on top of being pleased with the work it was an absolute pleasure dealing with Maurice. Great person. If you are in need of any electrical work done, do not hesitate to go with this company.

Glenn provided excellent service at a fair price! Would highly recommend them.

Great customer service, A1 quality work ! I would highly recommend them for your electrical needs
