Reviews of local pros in Lauderhill, Florida

Maurice showed up at the prearranged time; donned shoe covers as he entered the home; explained the pricing structure for the work needed; completed the job; and left, having cleaned up after himself. Very professional and thorough. This was the second time I have used him and recommend him highly. A skilled electrician and very professional.

Maurice is very knowledgeable and honest. He cares and knows what he is doing. Great experience! Spent a bit more than planned but they were safety issues in an old townhome and Maurice spent the extra time to correct. Thanks!!

MG Electric Inc is a very professional state licensed electrician company that provided me with solid options before completing an important electrical job for me. My wife and I are very happy with their services----CW Johnson

I highly recommend MG Electric, especially Maurice. We had to replace our inside and outside electrical boxes. It was a really big job ... and I knew with Maurice every detail would be done according to code and done properly. He was upfront with the cost and the time frame it took. He showed up on time and left his work area cleaner than when he found it. He was patient when I asked a million questions. When it comes to electric, there's no cutting corners and no room for errors. That's why I trust Maurice to do the job right. We're very satisfied customers.

Maurice and his staff had answers to our electric questions, knew how to negotiate the permitting process with the city successfully, did the work on time with better clean up than other contractors, and led us through the whole project until they got the final permit approval. This is who you want to do any electric work in your office or home.

Great service of the highest quality.
Maurice was professional and got the job done in timely matter and with great value.
You can tell that he takes pride in what he does and his work.
Strongly recommend this company.
Thanks.

Love this company! The guys are so knowledgeable about their work and they don’t mind sharing the knowledge and always give lots of tips. I use them every single time I have an electrical issue and they never disappoint. Always on time and always do an excellent job... Not to mention they always leave the place perfectly clean and tidy when they are done working. Mr. Maurice fixed my breaker unit last week and did an amazing job as always.

We called upon Maurice of MG Electric for the 3rd time. This time we asked him to assemble and install 4 ceiling fans. We are return customers because Maurice is not only extremely professional and an excellent electrician, he works immaculately. He has tremendous respect for our home, and leaves each room that he works in in pristine condition. I cannot say enough good things about Maurice and his company. We will most definitely be using him again for any electrical needs we may have in the future.

Maurice did a great good. He explained everything with good detail. He also made sure to clean after himself leave the site like nothing every happen and the outlet he installed just showed up.

Will definitely let my neighbors and friends know.

I called and Maurice was able to come same day. The pricing is reasonable and he is very knowledgeable. He removed my old light fixture, installed the new one and repaired my dimmer. We didnt have the correct bulbs for our new light fixture and he even waited for us to run to the store to get it so he could completely set up the fixture so we would not have to do anything with it but turn it on. I would certainly use him again and recommend his services to anyone.

MG Electrical is absolutely amazing! Their technician Maurice is a great communicator. Arrives when he says he will, takes photos of everything and gives a written summary of work completed. Pricing is absolutely reasonably. I would recommend and use MG electrical again!

I used these reviews to select this company for residential work, and they are spot on. I was scheduled immediately, Maurice showed up on time, and my problem was solved all in a few hours. He took the time to explain and show everything to me, and was reasonably priced as well. I put this company in my contacts as they definitely deserve 5 stars.

Maurice did a great job. He was able and willing to change a few things we decided at the last minute. He gave us some valuable recommendations and would definitely consider him for any electrical needs we might have in the future

We wanted to put a fan into our guest bedroom and decided hiring an electrician was a better idea than making it a DYI project. Maurice arrived for our appointment in a timely manner, was professional throughout our encounter and always took his time to explain things to myself and my girlfriend. This is the second job he's done for us - we were left completely satisfied both times. He also is fair with pricing and often goes the extra mile by leaving the work area just as clean as when he found it. Would recommend!

Maurice did an incredible job upgrading my electrical panel, fixing grounding issues and a couple of other minor things that came up. He walks you through the entire process, is very upfront about pricing and leaves the area clean. He was very thorough in his inspection. I highly recommend him.

If you want perfection, MG Electric is the right choice for all your electrical needs. Maurice recently mounted four TV’s and installed track lighting in the den of my home and it was all expertly done. He and his assistants are respectful of the home in that they wear boot covers, place tarp around the work area to avoid any damage and do a thorough clean up when the work is done. This is the second time Maurice has done work for me so I highly recommend MG Electric, you won’t be disappointed.

I previously used the services of Maurice 10 years ago (2014) when he worked for another company. His work product was so professional and impressive then, that I specifically requested him again for a later electrical project in 2020. When I discovered he was no longer there and had his own company (MG Electric, Inc.), there was no hesitation to employ him for that project. Since that time I have utilized the services of MG Electric/Maurice for five (5) additional electric projects, including this past week. I cannot say enough about how competent and professional his work product is. The work on every project has been performed timely, with excellent value and results. I wholeheartedly recommend Maurice, and MG Electrical, with no reservation whatsoever, for any electrical project anyone might have. He and MG Electrical are 100% reliable and professional, and I give them my personal highest recommendation.

Maurice, the owner of this company was very efficient and always kept his word. If he said he was going to show up, he did. His work was of excellent quality and we passed the City inspection with no problems and his price was fair. I would highly recomment MG Electric.

As with any other great business you become loyal to, many usually come from a referral, OR the reviews you read on line. Which is the reason I want to give this company the highest rating I possibly can. In my case, Maurice was referred to me by a good friend and colleague of mine, and when he was raving about how professional and knowledgeable Maurice was, and how different he was from other Electricians/Contractors I may have dealt with in the past (like most that just getting them to show up is a mission), he told me that Maurice would be different then most. And I have to say that with every other great things he said about Maurice, I thought he was slightly exaggeration. However, in actuality, my friend/colleague under promised and overdelivered.

Besides being licensed and insured, and besides punctuality and his master electrical skills, I find one of MG Electric Inc. best practice is the laminated book he carries in his work van. The book has just about every single electrical job you might ever need to do in your home, with prices right beside each job, prices that include everything, such as labor AND parts. To me it was such a relief to know that I was being charged an honest price and that price was the same for everyone. They are like the Car/Max of Electrical Contractors :-) No haggling, and no wondering ever, if you are overpaying. AND what they charge is also very reasonable IMO. Especially when you consider how everything was done to perfection the first time, and how clean and neat it all looked after the was done.

NOT to mention that Maurice came to our house to do work recently, and as soon as he exited the van, I could tell that he was very conscious of the current situation with the Corona Pandemic, and that he was following every precaution necessary to make us feel completely safe with him working in and around our home. I can not more strongly recommend Maurice and their family own business, MG Electric, Inc..

Maurice is the ultimate professional. My neighbor highly recommended Maurice and she was right because I was impressed from the initial phone call. He set up the appointment and was here as promised. He assessed what was needed to be done and returned quickly after to do the work. He maintained an immaculate work area and left our house in perfect condition. He honored his estimate and there were no additional charges or fees. We definitely will recommend him to our friends and family.

Maurice is amazing. He is professional, efficient and honest. I have had nothing but great experiences with him. I would highly recommend using this company for all your electric related needs.
