Poor service, high prices and nobody really cares
-
They have been professional, polite and easy to work with.
-
We called to get service bad estimate and we haven’t hear a word back receptionist wasn’t really accommodating

Jason and crew installed a paver patio in my back yard. Excellent work!!!
-
They grinded down a stump, removed a tree that was pushing against a fence, tore out ugly old brick work, and replaced all of it with grass. They went the extra mile and gave me specific instructions, without me asking, on how to care for the grass which saved me a bunch of YouTube videos. 5/5

Our new landscaping and irrigation project is great, and they're also doing the monthly maintenance as well. Great experience so far! 👌🏾

Jason and his crew are terrific. I love having them take care of the yard for me. They're fast, reliable, and bring my garbage can in for me if they see it on the curb!!

Dependable landscape contractor. I was surprised by the quality of the plants and how well they cleaned up. Luis was a great installer.

I searched high and low for a quality, yet, affordable landscape company to maintain my many bushes, trees and palms to no avail. Finally, a friend recommended JLC and I couldn't be happier. At first, the quote alone made me happy, then the organization and follow through, then the actual service. Good bye yard work days!

I was hesitant about hiring a lawn maintenance service in the first place, but now I am SO glad that I did. I considered a lot of companies before hiring JLC, and chose them because they include more work (even tree trimming) each time they come, for a better price quote than I got from any of the other companies I contacted.
I thought I would hate paying another bill, but it does not cost nearly as much as I expected, and now I am practically thrilled to pay it because it gives us back our much-needed weekends, without having yard work hanging over our heads. Plus, even though we were making ourselves miserable trying to keep our yard looking good, it always looked like crap. It now looks 100 times better than it ever did before.
Also, they landscapers they sent me are really friendly and professional. This last time, I noticed that they even picked up some recycling that had blown all over my back porch the night before, even though it was not in the area where they were working. How great is that? -
Daniel was amazing. He got our ancient irrigation system working again. Our pump was shot and he replaced that a fixed and replaced missing heads and repaired holes in the line. Super happy with his hard work and quick turnaround.

We’ve now used JLC Landscaping for a landscaping redesign and a French drain installation and Jason and his crew did an excellent job! Jason takes his time explaining the pros and cons of each design decision and answers literally every question you could think of. I’ll be using them for any future work and I highly suggest you give them a try!

AVOID this company. We used JLC for several years and saw their level of service steadily decline. Over the past three years we have seen employees mutilate plants which we had asked JLC never to touch, and employees fail to pick up debris in our yard, but simply move it aside to gain entrance to our back yard. JLC also failed to trim several large bushes, which they had agreed to trim when we first hired them. Ultimately we had to pay another service several hundred dollars to clean up the overgrown bushes. Additionally, we were cursed at on at least three occasions by JLC employees. We overheard one employee tell another "Don't pick up that piece of trash. If they're too lazy to do it we're not going to." The owner, Jason, seemed unconcerned and his manager, Clay Pratt, was belligerent and argumentative. Hire JLC only if you're trying to win an award for "Worst yard in the neighborhood."

We used JLC to completely redesign our lawn. We specifically asked for plants and flowers that stay short. We spent over 12k with this company and only 6 months later the lawn looks terrible! It's not symmetrical, the flowers he recommended are 3 feet tall now. We have one of the ugliest lawns in the community. The agreement included a few points that he never delivered, like pouring concrete under the tiles in front of the door, and a follow up meeting to explain maintenance. Just go with another company, they are overpriced and the quality of the work is very low, and from our experience, they don't know plants well enough to recommend what you need.

I met with Jason in April (it’s now August) for a paver installation quote for my yard. After nearly four months of periodically checking in on the status of the quote, I still haven’t received anything, and rarely (once) did Jason take the initiative to follow up with me, only to not follow through.
I explained in our first meeting that I wasn’t in a hurry to get the job done, but this protracted wait coupled with the lack of communication betrays real unprofessionalism. I understand that vendor delays and scheduling issues can complicate a job, but this doesn’t account for being told (multiple times) “your plan is closed to finished” or similar… only for nothing.
I’m giving three stars here because, who knows? Maybe they would have done an awesome job. I’ll never know. This isn’t to say that they won’t do good work for, just that your mileage may vary.
To Jason: Use a planner, hire a scheduling assistant, or decline a job you have no intention of completing. -
I’ve had JLC doing special projects and maintenance for a few years. Projects have always been well planned and executed. I’m EXTREMELY picky about maintenance and they always are responsive to my requests when attention is needed. Their willingness to meet my requirements extends from management to onsite crews. 😁

Just paid over $500.00 to repair a sprinkler that they installed 6 months prior. Problem was it was close to a patio and they installed Black flexible tubing to connect pieces which then popped off pulling dirt and sand from underneath patio…
Nice technician, showed what he thought was best and I appreciated that.
But took him almost 6 hours to accomplish- most of the time walking back and forth checking on his work…
He reconfigured sprinklers and now have zones all screwed up as front, side, and back yard are all mostly on zone #1. The side lawn is different from the front and back in most communities and different needs of irrigation for each area.
I called to complain when I saw the invoice, especially for the two reasons: it was their original job which resulted in this, and it would have taken their other technician about half the time. Clay said that the timing seems correct that they need to go back and forth to their van, and that we agreed to change the fix because they couldn’t fix it without patio crumbling (again due to the piece they originally chose - and was not working- just flooding my back yard when on- big thanks)… my video cameras show much wandering. Disappointed with Clay’s responses on discussing- so I just paid it and told him that I will let as many people know how this all took place and what they chose to resolve issues.
I would like to know what guarantees of your work you do have?
Very unhappy former client.
update (it's been awhile - not needing to sit and write complaints about your team - i have better things to do - people should read and judge for themselves...)
still amazed at the incompetence of the work.
i am having a few companies look at the work, fix the current sprinkler heads and show them what the "professional" team at JLC did - tubing not buried - partially in and out of ground... the "fix" to the system has front, side, and part of back all on one zone - do you think as a professional that the timing for a 5 foot swath of yard and over 20 feet of yard should be watered the same timing?
so i will get quotes and statements from your competitors and see what they have to say about the "repairs". then i will send (maybe post) the photos of the work that was done.
thank you for your very descriptive follow up and "concern" - did you ever come out to look at it and follow up ? No, you didn't.
