I can understand why these guys are called “Knuckleheads”. For the last several years they quoted a price, did the work and we paid them. This year he sounded like a whining baby about how he did not charge us enough the first two times and he had to make up for that. So it was gonna be at least 1500 or 2000 more dollars to do the trees. He never could settle on a price. I just rolled my eyes and chalked it up as a tantrum! Do yourself a favor, don’t use the guys.

Duane and team removed two large Laurel Oaks from my Tarpon Springs property. Duane provided good communication and his crew was courteous, took the time to protect my lawn and irrigation system and did a great job. I’d highly recommend Knuckleheads for any tree removal project!

Called the company to have them look at my giant grandfather oak. The owner came out to my house and was very nice and honest. After looking the tree over for a bit he told me not to touch it, as it was in great shape. His honesty saved me money that I thought I needed to spend. I will only be using Knuckleheads Tree service from now on. There still are good people in this world!

We called Knuckleheads Tree Service to remove a massive oak tree hanging over our house. The tree was rotting in the middle and we literally lived in fear of it falling on us at any time. Duane was able to work us in which we are very grateful.

I am so grateful to Knuckleheads Tree Service, and honestly am writing this review while they are still at my house working. We had an old live oak in our backyard that dropped a big branch about two weeks ago. We had gotten a quote from them last week, but were still negotiating with the insurance company. Then yesterday, on a Sunday, it dropped another big branch in the morning, and then its whole top fell, doing major damage to my neighbor's fence and my garage. We called them- on a Sunday- and asked if they could hurry up and get out. They were able to work us in at 8am this morning, and they showed up on time, and very prepared. And to be honest, their pricing was VERY fair (we'd had several quotes). Their people are professional, they have all the equipment and it is obviously well maintained, and I cannot be more grateful to them. We were very freaked out yesterday, and for Duane to answer on a Sunday and put our minds at ease really was everything, but then to see how professional they were today was the icing on the cake. I would recommend them to anyone who needs tree work, and if I ever need tree work again, they'll be my first- and only- phone call.

Then interacting with the work crew - Alan and his team, who were not only professional and thorough, but actually enjoyable to talk to! These gentlemen were on time, very professional and really efficient.They disposed of my tree in no time, stump and roots included. All in all it took about 5 hours and was awesome to watch. I cannot say enough good things about this company and Duane Dooley (one of the owners). I have used them multiple times and they have exceeded my expectations every time. No hidden fees, they always leave my property clean, the equipment they use is top notch and they were able to remove trees and limbs that other companies could not remove. I've recommended them to all my neighbors. I would certainly obtain an estimate from them if you are in need of tree service!

Knuckleheads are super professional and so nice to deal with. They go above and beyond to leave your roof and yard cleaner than when they got there . They took down a HUGE camphor tree in about 3 hours!

This company did a great job on trimming up the trees around our property. They were prompt, polite, and efficient. They had all the right equipment and cleaned up most of their mess. It’s always good to deal with people who know their work and have a good attitude.

I called Duane and he immediately responded and was able to come to my residence the same day for a quote. I have a 20 year old oak tree that I have trimmed over the years but it really needed some TLC. Duane and I reviewed his proposed plan and it was executed perfectly within 7 days of the agreement. Man knows his stuff. Price was better than two other quotes I received and they scheduled me quick after I decided to move forward. I’m happy I did. The work they completed turned out awesome! Will be using them again later this year to remove several more trees in the back yard because it’s making it impossible to keep my roof and gutter clear.

Knuckleheads Tree Service removed a diseased sweetgum tree from our front yard and ground the stump. Scheduled the service within days of providing the estimate. Provided prompt, professional and very efficient service. Cleanup was excellent as well. Would highly recommend.

We have had Knuckleheads Tree Service Team out to the house a few times and they never disappoint! Duane is always responsive and his quotes have never changed. This time we had a large maple leaning on the barn that required the big equipment to take out so it wouldn't cause more damage. The crew did an outstanding job and there has never been any clean up necessary after they leave the property! We highly recommend them!

I called four people Duane was the first one to call me back. His guys did a great job cutting down my big old oak tree and grinding down the stump even cleaned up after themselves and they trimmed a bottlebrush tree next to my house for me. They did it all in half a day 8:30-2:00 pm ish. Their heavy machinery did drive over a pipe under the ground that ended up being my main water line but its no ones fault as i didn’t even know it was there. Everything looks great though and if i had any more trees on my property id call them first and only them haha they left some fire wood as requested for us too!

Quality tree service company in Tampa!! Duane came out, gave us a great quote to remove 2 large dead trees in our backyard. I had a medium size oak tree on my very small front lawn. The tree roots cracked my driveway and the walkway into my home, as well as caused gulleys in my main plumbing line. I saw Knucklehead Tree Services removing a tree 3 times the size of mine from my neighbor's front lawn across the street. I spoke to the gentleman working. His name was Duane Dooley. He is the owner and manager of Knucklehead Tree Services. I asked him for a quote and he did the assessment right there. I told him I would be in touch.

The pandemic happened and other things got in the way. Finally, a few years later, I didn't forget about Knucklehead Tree Services. I called their office and got on the schedule for another assessment. I chose Knucklehead for a FEW reasons. Mr. Duane is very polite and professional. His company is LICENSED, he works with an ARBORIST, HE PULLS PERMITS, and does STUMP GRINDING TOO. I didn't have to hire another company to take care of the stump. I didn't have to pull my own permits, like some other companies told me to do. Knuckleheads Tree Services were respectful of my property, fast, and efficient. The crew was respectful of my neighbors' property, as well, in the subdivision. It was a pleasure to work with Duane and his crew. They cleaned up the work area very well.
