Reviews of local pros in Lutz, Florida

Duane, Alan and crew members were all professional, courteous and respectful to my property and all surrounding neighbors. This tree service went beyond the normal tree service I’ve used in the past. I recommend Knuckleheads Tree Svc for your next tree trimming/removal. I’ll be using them in the future. Thank you guys.

We had a massive camphor tree in the back yard which was close to our house. It had been hit by lightning years ago and was beginning to split down the middle. Duane, Darrel and the crew came out with a lift and took the tree down in pieces and then the stump was ground. Their work was professionally and skillfully done. We could not have been more pleased.

Excellent service. They did everything that we asked for in the estimate. They were prompt and on time and did a tremendous job cleaning up. Highly recommend. If there's anything else I need done, I will be contacting Duane again.

Contacted Duane and he came out provided a a very competitive quote to remove 4 large palms. He and his crew performed the work quickly and efficiently and left no residual mess.
I would recommend this company for any tree work that you need taken care of.

After they completed the job, my husband wanted more tree pruning, Knuckleheads came back and trimmed until we were satisfied!!! Very honest, fair and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to any and everyone!!!

Great local company in Lutz!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! NO CALL, NO SHOW!! I scheduled an estimate for a tree that I wanted removed and they never showed. Thought that I would give them a second chance to come out so I called them and let them know that no one ever showed up. Lady that answered the phone said that she would have someone call me to reschedule the estimate. It's been two weeks and no call. Business must be booming that they don't need to follow-through with potential clients.

Good work from Alan and crew today. I saw them in my neighborhood trimming a neighbor's tree. I called the number on their truck. Got a free estimate when they were done with my neighbor's tree. The estimate was fair. So they trimmed my oak tree and gave it that umbrella look. They put the branches thru their chipper and raked everything under the tree. Looking good now and my wife likes it!

I first contacted The company to get a tree removed from my backyard. Several companies came and told me they couldn’t do it because of the location, however when they came they explained the reason they couldn’t remove it it was because of the type of tree, and the permit they required. What this means is that they were the most informed. The day of the tree trimming they not only showed up on time, did an outstanding job, left everything cleaned, and no debris behind. I would 100% use them again.

i had several trees taken down and stumps removed outstanding service performed. not only that they went the extra yard and cleaned all the clippens up in my yard. cost wise they were very competitive or better. they also worked very well as a team. my rating would be a 5star+. ward m.

Don’t be fooled by their name “Knucklehead Tree Service” These men are amazing at what they do! They work with precision, expertise and respect for a beautiful oak tree that brought decades of beauty and pleasure to our family. My adult grandson who has autism loves his tree swing and they were kind enough to re-hang it for him! You guys are a blessing and I THANK YOU for your work and dedication.

Top quality and service from this team! A+ overall! Duane and his team did an excellent job and saved our home from impending damage from the storm. They have the experience, team, and equipment to even the most difficult jobs done safely and effectively. Can't thank them enough for their help.

Absolutely outstanding service! I called late in the night for my cat, stuck in a tree, and they were there at 7 AM. The owner is a great person. Workers were so sweet. Customer service 100%, service provided 100%. Ill be using them again for sure!

Service was excellent! Very professional from the very beginning. I had 6 trees that needed removed and the stumps grinded and the entire project took only a few hours. The team arrived when they said they would and began work immediately. I highly recommend Knuckleheads Tree Service.

I can understand why these guys are called “Knuckleheads”. For the last several years they quoted a price, did the work and we paid them. This year he sounded like a whining baby about how he did not charge us enough the first two times and he had to make up for that. So it was gonna be at least 1500 or 2000 more dollars to do the trees. He never could settle on a price. I just rolled my eyes and chalked it up as a tantrum! Do yourself a favor, don’t use the guys.

Duane and team removed two large Laurel Oaks from my Tarpon Springs property. Duane provided good communication and his crew was courteous, took the time to protect my lawn and irrigation system and did a great job. I’d highly recommend Knuckleheads for any tree removal project!

Called the company to have them look at my giant grandfather oak. The owner came out to my house and was very nice and honest. After looking the tree over for a bit he told me not to touch it, as it was in great shape. His honesty saved me money that I thought I needed to spend. I will only be using Knuckleheads Tree service from now on. There still are good people in this world!

We called Knuckleheads Tree Service to remove a massive oak tree hanging over our house. The tree was rotting in the middle and we literally lived in fear of it falling on us at any time. Duane was able to work us in which we are very grateful.
That grapple saw is AMAZING!!! We couldn't be more impressed with this company. Afterwards the neighbors came over to say how impressed they were with the skill they had taking this nightmare down. Just a super positive experience.
We definitely recommend calling Knuckleheads Tree Service!

I am so grateful to Knuckleheads Tree Service, and honestly am writing this review while they are still at my house working. We had an old live oak in our backyard that dropped a big branch about two weeks ago. We had gotten a quote from them last week, but were still negotiating with the insurance company. Then yesterday, on a Sunday, it dropped another big branch in the morning, and then its whole top fell, doing major damage to my neighbor's fence and my garage. We called them- on a Sunday- and asked if they could hurry up and get out. They were able to work us in at 8am this morning, and they showed up on time, and very prepared. And to be honest, their pricing was VERY fair (we'd had several quotes). Their people are professional, they have all the equipment and it is obviously well maintained, and I cannot be more grateful to them. We were very freaked out yesterday, and for Duane to answer on a Sunday and put our minds at ease really was everything, but then to see how professional they were today was the icing on the cake. I would recommend them to anyone who needs tree work, and if I ever need tree work again, they'll be my first- and only- phone call.
