ESA Solar installed my 11kW system in October of 2020 and I could not be happier. There were a few hiccups during the installation process (not ESA's fault) and one team member drove 2 hours to my house on a Friday evening to install just one small part. The system has been running flawlessly so hats off to them! Highly recommend ESA!

esa Solar is a solidly professional company that provides a worthwhile product with friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive service. I could call and always could talk with knowledgeable people. If voice message or email was used for contact I always received a timely response with the requested information. The installed product itself has performed wonderfully without any system or electrical issues of any kind. Highly recommend esaSolar for anyone's solar needs.

After considering numerous companies, I chose esaSolar and am glad I did. Insofar, they've been extremely responsive and helpful. Lauren was been very quick to respond to any question I had along the way. The site surveyor, Antonio, was very thorough and relayed my notes to the design engineers. Designer Mike was able to deliver the exact solution I was seeking. Permitting was a lot quicker than I anticipated. The installation involved a complicated main electrical panel upgrade + an EV charger, and their electrician, Gerardo Di Vicenzo, was stellar-- an upmost professional with keen attention to detail! From start to finish, I felt my project was in the best of hands. Very pleased so far, great company!

Esa solar was awesome. Brooks came and spent time with us showing us the difference between their panels and other companies. They took time to figure how much solar we needed and got us the right amount. We have a huge system 16kW because we have a bigger house and 5 of us. The numbers have been spot on for 6 months now. I love the app, shows how much electricity we are using. How much we are generating, cost savings etc.
Duke on the other hand was a pain. My name was Jeff on one page and Jeffrey on another and they Couldn’t figure that math out…

Sales team was great, install was delayed but it was understandable... they convinced me to put the boxes somewhere I don't love but that's on me... my issue stands with after install they pretty much stop responding. I don't think our system produced the promised amount in the first year but no one ever calls me back, or when they do it's to say someone else will who never does. So it has never been fully addressed. In addition, one of the boxes has started to hum and we can hear it inside. Getting a hold to resolve was a pain and then the fix didn't last very long. It's so hard to have support I get tired of trying (maybe that's their goal). We've debated upgrading but I wouldn't go back with this support... We've had others ask and while we highly recommend solar, we wouldn't recommend SunPower by EsaSolar simply because of their support. To me, this feels like a company that doesn't stand behind their product... once they have you, they stop caring about customer service. Truly disappointing, especially since everyone up to install had been great.

I've had my solar system for a little over 3 years now. It's functioning well and I am happy with my decision to go solar. esaSolar did the installation of my SunPower system. The team was very professional; there were a couple of hiccups along the way but esaSolar was responsive and kept good communication. Additionally, I know that SunPower is a highly-rated brand in the solar industry .

I was so excited to finally able to have solar panels put on my roof and have a battery installed for non-stop power in our suburban home. The sales, engineering and design team did a great job of permitting, coordinating with the local utility, and placing the maximum number of panels on my second story metal roof to maximize solar production even through I have shade on the best part of the roof, the south side. The only problem I had was I was disappointed and frustrated in how long it took to actually get the system operational. Apparently they out-sold their onsite install capabilities because of high demand. I signed my agreement April 15, 2019 and finally was operational in March, 2020. However, they were quick to respond when we identified that one of the 4 components of the sonnen 10kW battery was not working and the system not communicating via wifi; they came onsite to troubleshoot the problems and get it resolved with Sunpower and Sonnen techs by phone. I have complained to esa operations and engineering and to the monitoring software providers that there needs to be a push alert to allow immediate notification when the monitoring software is not getting data so the system can be checked and the issue corrected. I have recommended Sunpower by esaSolar to others as a trustworthy and reliable business for solar power and battery installation.

I had my 11.4kw system installed back in 2018. We also purchased the removal take down package. Because of insurance issues, we had to get a new roof. ESA came out and removed my planels and re-installed them. Glad to know they stand behind their contract because during the whole re-roofing ordeal, a few roofing companies said solar companies are pulling their "customers through the coals" when it comes to removal/reinstall of the solar panels.

Please read before choosing this company.
I did a lot of research on installing a solar system to my home. This is my first home so I take a lot of pride in it and did a lot of research before moving forward with this company. Unfortunately my experience seems to be the total opposite of most others. The first issue was with permits, I was told 4 weeks for permits to be back and pick an install date. Week 3 o reach out to the team and only then do they inform me that my permits weren’t sent out due to “unforeseen” circumstances.I wait a few more weeks and they finally come in and I’m given an install date in told I have to be home so I request the day off and I’m told that the install would only take a day. The night before my install one of the technicians fell off a roof so they were issued “safety down status” meaning they pushed my install back further. Which meant I have to request another day off and lose more money and PTO. The day of install I realized there are two different styles of panels because I happened to check the sun power Instagram. I’m notified there will be a 3,000 up charge despite there being no indication on their website that the all black panels are more expensive. Due to this change in price I’m told to sign a new contract on DocuSign which to date doesn’t work. At the end of install day #1 (keep in mind this was w one day install) I’m told they will finish tomorrow. Day #2 they still aren’t finished day#3 they finish and the panders are crooked and not matching the diagram that I was sent. Day#4 they fix the panels and thus add more holes to my roof potentially compromising it. And currently I am still in the installation process awaiting all the above concerns to be addressed and to be told when the solar panels will be inspected by the county so they can actually be turned on and produce power for the house. If you’ve managed to stick out this entire story do yourself a favor and RUN do not waste hard earned money and time with this company.

The company is very responsive and the product very good quality. I appreciate the fact that they steered me away from the most expensive line because the ROI would have been much longer. They monitor our system, but I also like their app, so i can see the energy production any time. The 25 year warranty is great.

We installed solar on a previous house with a different company and were very unhappy with the cost and the support after installation. So, we did our homework on this one. We interviewed 4 different companies and esaSolar came out on top. We have not been disappointed. Ideally, it’s a long term relationship with your solar company for service and support. Choose wisely. I highly recommend esaSolar.

From the very beginning until the very end, she was invaluable and instrumental in helping us and guiding us through the entire process. She carefully explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. She repeatedly went out of her way, and went above and beyond to help us in any way she could - she never stopped trying and she never gave up.

In an era where you wonder how some companies stay in business considering how poorly they treat their customers, with their lack of caring or concern and horrible customer service, Nicole has restored my faith that there are still some people out there that really and sincerely care about the clients they work with. Her customer service was outstanding. In fact, it was the best I’ve ever experienced as a consumer. She was always pleasant, nice, kind, caring, sympathetic, empathetic, understanding, thoughtful, patient, polite, courteous, respectful, candid, insightful, forthcoming, helpful, knowledgeable, resourceful, thorough, and professional. In addition, she was always such a pleasure to work with, expressed a good sense of humor no matter what the circumstances we had at hand were, and just seemed to be a genuinely great person.

If you have to conduct any business with ESA, then I highly and wholeheartedly recommend you work with Nicole…she is the absolute best at what she does.

There’s no doubt in my mind that we never would have been able to get our project done if it hadn’t been for Nicole. We sincerely appreciate all of her help, guidance, kindness, understanding, patience, hard work, tireless effort, diligence, candor, professionalism, and excellent customer service throughout this whole process.

I had an issue with a sunk pump and the company sent Jeremy out right away. Thanks to his being extra conscience he took extra care aand found the problem and fixed it. We will definitely use this company again for electrical service and ask for Jeremy.
