After offering motor replacement as the option to fix the problem, motor was replaced but old hardware chain snd sensors were left to work with new motor. Called for missing parts (new) or not installed and still waiting for a call. NOT AS GOOD IN MY OPINION!

The person whose name is Eliron "Eli" Gibli showed up in a truck with no ladders. The top of our door where the springs are located is 25 foot from the factory floor. He looked up from the ground and said that both springs need to be replaced and the cost would be $1,200 EACH for a 5 year warranty for standard springs and carbon springs would be $1,575 EACH with a lifetime warranty plus $300 to install and that someone could come the next day. I told him I would need to obtain landlord approval for the cost. He then told me that to close the door it would be $700. When I told him I need approval for that too, he lowered the cost to $500. I told him no, so he asked for the $35 check made payable to him. When I told him I called a company for the service call and not him directly he demanded the check payable to him. This is not a normal business practice.

The next day I hired a professional company with excellent reviews online, a BBB member with an A+ rating and they told me that the other company (Garage Door Repair Miami Gardens LLC) lied and that the springs did not need to be replaced and were both in excellent condition. All they had to do was reattach the cable/wire to the roller part of the spring and then align the door. The total cost to attach the wire to the spring, adjust the tension in both springs and grease the door guides was $350 for two men. The service call lasted 1 1/2 hours.
