I called Big Ron’s Tree Service for their tree removal service because our tree was suffering from termites and somehow the termites are attacking the wooden floors on our balcony near the tree. I am going to miss that tree but I am happy about Big Ron’s excellent tree removal service. They even suggested me on which tree I plant next.

They got back to me the same day. They gave me a free cost estimate. It was worth the wait to have them come out and cut my trees. No problems.

Ron is not your average tree-trimmer. He's an arborist, has a wealth of industry knowledge, and always does a great job. I would highly recommend working with him.

Colleen and Ron were very professional on the Arborist report I needed. Colleen was on time and quick to issue a detailed report. What I appreciate the most was that they were very helpful after to help me address some of the city environmental comments on my permit. Highly recommended !

We had six large trees that had to be trimmed or cut to roof level. Jason scheduled the crew quickly, and Ron sent a crew of 7 people (supervised by Deyves) to do the job over two days. Deyves and his crew did an outstanding job with their cutting and trimming. The placement of branches and log debris were as instructed. Deyves had to climb 5 of the trees as they were inaccessible with a lift. That alone merits five stars! The crew came on time (8:30), worked steadily, and left no mess. I will be using Big Ron's team again.

After Hurricane Irma last year it’s been HELL to try to find not just anyone to work on my tree damage but someone honest and affordable. Luckily I remembered a friend of mine who’s a longtime member of BNI, Business Network International and called and asked him if he knew of an Arborist in their network of professionals and luckily he said yes and introduced me to Big Ron’s Tree Service. Big Ron himself showed up at my house in Coconut Grove the following day and gave me a very reasonable estimate which I approved and 2 days later his crew and equipment where at my doorstep and professionally took care of my problem. Eyes closed and hands down would never think of calling anyone else for any kind of foliage problems.

I’ve used Big Ron a few times but this might be my last. Trees were not trimmed with any concern for aesthetics. Branches should have been cut flush to the main branch and instead were cut leaving little stumps everywhere. Fallen branches were dragged across the concrete deck leaving marks. Debris was even dragged against stucco walls and corners of the house that look like a mess now. Orchids that were nowhere near the trimmed branches were nocked off and missing. I try to support local and wish them the best but their crew might need more training.

It is so great to see people take pride in their work. The crew that came out to my house were friendly,on-time, and cared about the results. The yard and the trees look great after being trimmed and everything was cleaned up. I will use Big Ron again next year and you should too!

Big Ron's Tree Service donated mulch to my Eagle Scout Project so we could build a forest garden for elementary students in low income schools. Big Ron is very friendly, helpful and accomodating. After I asked for mulch, he was able to get the mulch to the school in twenty minutes.

Awesome Service! Very Professional and reasonable prices. He delivered what he promised. His crew was there the following day on time and took out one large tree with the stump and roots and in my backyard, large branches that were overhanging. This is the best tree service in town, hands down. Ron and his team were kind and professional. When calling for an appointment, they are very warm and helpful, which seems rare these days.

Highly recommend their service!!!! Very professional and clean, only took them 1.5 hours to remove my 50ft+ palm tree that’s dangerously close to my house. Did a fantastic job it, can barely recognize that a tree was ever there. You can tell Ron loves what he does just chatting with him.

For those of you that need to have your trees taken care of and/or landscaping in general, I want to recommend BIG RON’S TREE SERVICE. Big Ron is a real person and a really nice & professional gentleman. His company has been in business for a very, very, very long time helping home owners as well as commercial building owners. He is a certified arborist. He is honest as the day is long. I have done business with Ron on several occasions and will recommend him six days a week and twice in Sunday’s.

Big Ron’s tree service is the best company for trimming trees. They come in and do the job professionally and take care of outside furniture and the rest of your landscaping without destroying around the job they are performing.
