This company took over the sanitation job in Cooper City Country address and it's been downhill ever since....the worst!!!

This company is a joke - DO NOT go into business with them. Expect rolled pick-ups, skipped pick-ups, and incredibly unprofessional replies (when they bothered replying) from your account "executives".

Horrible service, called today for the second time after they missed the pick up day (Wednesday) gave them Thursday as a courtesy and called again and complained on Friday 4.22.22, driver basically gets here, makes a mess of things trying to hurry up and tries to leave while leaving several trash bags on the ground, I came out and asked what was he going to do with that bags, guy looks me straight on the eyes and starts backing up the truck like I'm not there, ran after the truck for a short distance while he maneuvered to ask him about the bags he left behind (nevermind the fact the only reason they were on the ground is because THEY missed the pick up on Wednesday 4.20.22) guy basically just drives away after that like a I'm not even talking to him. Horrible service & unprofessional. Cancelling contract!

Incompetent , negligent and abusive behavior . They ALWAYS leave the containers misplaced , many times obstructing parking spaces for other cars and have caused damages in other personal properties with the big containers . They don’t care about what they do ; don’t even pick up the trash on time leaving it for many days and the worst thing is that nobody cares about it. I hope that company goes into bankruptcy and closes very soon due to their incompetency and bad work. The worst service ever !!!

10/13/23 Yet once again Coastal sent us a PINK statement now. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I hope people read the reviews before they sign a contract with them. saying they have a container here! Absolutely NOT!! No container here. How many times do a call to clear this up? 8/29/23, just put a review the BBB, this 8/28/23, received another statement. 8/17/23, so looks like they have yet to close the account. We received another statement today. I'll be posting again next month. Message below is from previous month:
I really didn't want to give ANY star, but then I wasn't able to leave a review. There's a reason for the 2-1/2 stars, should be less if you ask me. Be careful when you open an account with them, because they are not capable of closing it. Company I work for was relocating and we were looking to contract a new company. I opened an account but IMMEDIATELY canceled with them since I wasn't able to get out of my current waste company (guess I can't with this one either) was told by the ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE that It will be taken care of, yet, they continue to send statements. Today we received another one with PAST DUE, hmm I wonder why? Keep waiting for that payment.

The BLUE recycling bins in the Highland area of NMB specifically along NE 137th street and the many other streets in the neighborhood, have not been addressed for over a month now. Our taxes are paid in order that we can get service, let alone good service, within our community and it is not being done.

I have called before and lodged a complaint and nothing has happened, no one from management has responded or sent any notice or any reason as to why this is happening. I have called again today and after waiting in queue as number 20 I finally got to number one in the queue and was hung up on. I had to call again and now I am number 20 in the queue again. I work for city government in Broward and this would never happen in that Great city that I work for. I employ you, either as a vendor or the city department responsible; to address this issue immediately. News media is very willing to take on a story of city
government or a registered vendor not living up to its expectations, wasting tax payers money and time..

Hi. This is the second truck I see on the road with streams of trash and litter flying off the truck and into the road, back on the ground. The littering I just witnessed in under two miles driving behind one of your trucks is egregious.

absolutely horrible service drivers never call when onsite and take whatever dumpster they see first and leave the empty one wherever they want. The send grapple service when you order rolloff service. They make claims of service when they serviced the wrong dumpster and wont send someone to service the one you have overflowing that was supposed to service that day.
save yourself the headache and do not use them

Every week we need to call cause they never come in the scheduled day and they always say the driver had to 6 pm and never shows up to the next day. Very bad service.

This company has shown a complete lack of professionalism. Trash collection is inconsistent, they fail to follow the agreed schedule, and their poor handling has caused damage to the surrounding area. Despite multiple calls and promises, no real solutions are ever provided.
Working with a company that cannot honor its commitments is extremely frustrating. I do not recommend their services.

My experience with Coastal’s Miami branch went from great to an absolute nightmare. I’m a true believer that if two parties communicate they can resolve and find a solution to most problems. However, not only is it difficult to communicate with this branch, but they also moved the goal post after several agreements were reached with multiple parties. Thank you to the people who attempted to help. But hands were tied. My nightmare began when their driver struck a utility pole behind my building on a service road and then neglected to communicate to us or the proper authorities that this incident had occurred. We learned of this incident after they stopped picking up our trash. Several weeks & many hours of conversations were had with multiple people at Coastal and each time they failed to honor each agreement that was reached to pick up our trash Subsequently, on a follow-up call, it was discovered our account had been removed from their system. This was the same day that an emergency pick-up was to be performed to pick up our trash. In the end, after their container was finally picked up they left trash everywhere on our property and littered up and down the street. This was the straw that broke the camels back.
Bottom line you can always tell who you’re dealing with when you have to resolve a problem, Coastal Waste and Recycling of Miami showed their true colors. Unfortunately their decision to conduct business in this matter and handle things badly resulted in me choosing another waste management company.

To whom it may concern. The scale worker that normally works Wed- Friday needs guidance on customer service.
He is very rude and come off to be very Racist and nasty

Credit card machine not working , no cash accepted, only bank checks . I wast my time
