Spent loads of time working on boosting the AC output, but the existing insulation I had was thirty eight years old and installed by the developer which of course was basic minimum, with empty spots here and there for attic heat to radiate down into the home. His two assistants, Alejandro and Roberto laid down a beautiful layer of blown in insulation which completely covered the attic floor. They got right into all the nooks and crannies too. The total layer is about 10 to 12 inches thick . Well worth the money. Saves electricity bills plus it is a lot cooler. First photo I took when they were about 1/2 done. Their machine in the truck makes a huge difference as the insulation is blown in via a 100 ft 3 inch hose. Call these guys, some jobs are simply beyond DIY. You won't be disappointed. They came out within 2 hours of my initial call and the job took about 2 to 3 hours mainly cause it was so hot in the attic.
